I’m being disoriented with what day it is. 

Looking forward to Saturday where we might be able to watch UAAP again after two years!

Cancelling some events just to be free on Saturday. 

Not a huge fan of Volleyball but during the pandemic, that’s one regret that I had not watching even one UAAP volleyball game even we planned to do it. 

How to adjust on this post pandemic life. 

It was raining the whole day. 

Left the house without a mask. Great. 

Hopefully it will not rain on Saturday 

Back on doing some games before bed so I will stop browsing the internet but still I do end up thinking a lot. 

Nice basketball games today! Yay. That’s the feeling that we all miss. 

Can’t believe that weekend is just a few hours away. I’m so looking forward to Saturday and I’m now anxious. Haha 

Work guilt. 

Why do I have so much backlog this week.

Basketball game after so many years. Lol 

It was all I needed. Thankfully everything went well. 

Yesterday was one of the best day for so long. 

I never felt this kind of tiredness for years but thankful that I workout and I walk daily. 

I’ll write about yesterday in a very long form with a lot of realizations. 

Got to move, on a Sunday. 

Lazy Monday. 

Done with all the task before this holy week break. Finally rest days. 

Lol was there really a rest day for me. 

You can’t play the “not feeling well” card these days, you know.

After all these lockdown, my body is adjusting with all of my weekend activities. Need to change some of the daily routine. 

From not seeing friends for so long to hanging out every weekend. Yay. 

Hello Monday stress. 

There are things that I can’t explain to you the reason. It will be appreciated if you will have patience for a moment. 

Trust the process even it is frustrating at times. 

I’m not a good liar. 

All you have to do is wait because one way or another, you are not forgotten.

Transporting to April 9 so I can finish writing it all before I go on with what happen last weekend. 

And I didn’t write all week. Lol hello again weekend. 

Its going to be a full activity day. UAAP and hopefully to be able to catch up on #PasayIsPink. Happy Birthday VP Leni!

Two weekend write up down. One more to go. 

The struggle is still real. 

We are planning to finally watch a volleyball game but I think it will still not happen this year and it is hard to be a FEU supporter after that statement. 

Crazy cravings.  

There are really movies that are not worth watching. 

Staying in for the weekend after 3 consecutive weekends spent with friends. 

UAAP S84 . First Live Game in 2022

This day will never be possible if the UAAP never allowed the 6th man inside the arena after 4 game days. 

We got late basketball schedule for April 7 (Thursday) & 9 (Saturday) and we are all busy on a weekday so we settled to watch live on Saturday. 

One week of waiting. I got very anxious plus it rained for a day and I don’t want to rain if i will be traveling to MOA from hometown. I’m so hesitant but my cousin, Dap convinced me and said that we will watch rain or shine. YAY. 

I wasn’t thinking about it that I just want to survive the week and enjoy Saturday. I just couldn’t figure it out why I was extra busy with a backlog on Thursday and Friday. It makes me feel so guilty to go out the next day but I make sure that I finish everything. 

Saturday came and I can’t believe that I woke up seeing some ray of sunshine and I became so excited. 

The whole week, I was slowly getting ready on what to bring and what bag to use and the shoes. I haven’t been out that I need to prepare all of these in advance so I will not forget some things as well. Good thing I did that since one of the side of the strap of the bag broke and I was able to see it in advance. 

Everything went well as planned. Thankful for the free MRT ride as well and we made it to MOA without raining. It was a good day. 

I’m so excited to see Brobabes and finally hangout for the whole day plus enjoying basketball, the one event in our lives that started it all. Maybe that’s one reason why even after 10 years we still watch and enjoy it. 

Game days are packed now since 4 basketball games are happening in a day (10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm) unlike before that there are only 2 games in a day. 

Gem miss UAAP so much because she was so busy pre-pandemic that she can’t find time to watch anymore so most likely this was her first game after maybe in 4 years (I’m not sure so as she). Haha

Kit wasn’t answering us when we asked him all week if he will join us and upon buying tickets, I let go of the idea that he will be joining us. When Gem and I met after buying tickets, she asked me if I bought one for Kit and I said no since he wasn’t answering us all week. We decided to call him and I know that he have his hesitations as well but he said that he will go last minute.

After buying tickets, our game will still be at 7pm so we decided to go around MOA on where to eat but apparently everything is full. It was a Saturday and a holiday although I want to roam around but it was tiring without any place to stay so I told them that maybe we should just go inside MOA Arena already and eat whatever food there is inside. We went inside by 2pm just in time for the 4th quarter of AdU vs DLSU. Perfect timing since we miss Coach Nash who is the current head coach of AdU. 

It was so good to watch a UAAP game again after 903 days for me. Lol 

It was so good just to be inside MOA Arena as well. 

After the AdU and DLSU game we went outside to eat and there are few choices but it is okay. Hopefully there will be more choices next time since we are all willing to eat most especially for some who stays the whole day. 

We waited for some chairs and table to be emptied since some are already done watching their respective games and some just arrived to watch the next game which is ADMU and UST. 

We just talked outside and re-entered the arena by 4th quarter of ADMU and UST. While we wait for Kit who arrived just after that game. 

3/4 of Brobabes are united again after 6 months when we hangout in my hometown. 

We still have 1 hour to spare before the FEU-UP game so we did catch up for a while. 

It felt like we hangout and talk 24/7 which is not but I guess if you have this kind of friendship turned family now, we just know.

GAME TIME 

I’ve been keeping track of the 1st round and with the lousy game we have which is understandable for everyone since most of them didn’t have proper basketball game since 2019. There are also lots of new faces as well with the changes on the coaching staff which by the way, I didn’t get any update during the pandemic. I kind of step away from basketball stuff since somehow it also stopped. 

This season it is also hard to predict who will win except for ADMU, anyway. Lol 

It feels so good to see UP win since we also witnessed them during the time they are always at the bottom of the standings. UE is the one that’s at the bottom at the moment. 

So good to be able to celebrate if our players will shoot, jump if it was a 3-point shot, shout defense if they are on the other side of the court, to cheer for our team and to finally sing that FEU hymn again. 

We didn’t win but it was not as hurtful as it is before. Maybe for me it didn’t matter anymore as long as we were able to witness a UAAP basketball again, to be the 6th man inside the arena.

The game ended by 9pm and we just ate dinner and left MOA by 11pm. 

One of the best day after so long.

Almost bitten by our dog again. 

100 episode of Seinfeld 

Waited for 3.3 but I can’t decide what to buy also, I don’t need anything right now. 

Am I the only one that is still worry about the virus? I just can’t believe people are almost back to their usual normal. 

Not sure with the end game so I’ll delay for a bit. Lol

I still hope that I’m wrong regarding the red flags because for sure we all don’t like the ending of it. 

Neighbor told me to not let the dogs pee on the wheel of their car that’s just parked outside. Wasn’t able to tell that our dogs are female and he should be aware of the stray dogs that are mostly male.

I’m tired to argue tonight most especially if you are not open minded to talk about stuff 

Whatever the format of a debate, the most important thing is you show up even you don’t have any idea on what will happen or what are the topics to be talked about. You should show up most especially if you are seeking for the highest position on this country. 

Omg. Will I be able to finally visit my extended family and be back to my home away from home?!  Huhu. Fingers crossed. 

You can really catch them through themselves noh. 

Took home some work to finish but the website that I need to access was down. 

The past week has been so busy and still going to be busy for the next ones. 

Weekend. 

I was never that exhausted for so long.

And back to regular programming. 

The rain refrains me from going to SM so I can just go around but I’m happy that I can still do my steps. Still hitting the goals. 

Everyone is out of town or planning some trips already why am I not ready for this yet. 

Even though I’m 100% sure on my candidate, I’m still thinking of dyeing my hair pink this time maybe when election day is near then I will and I still have to bleach!  

Back on track. I will try to write more this time since I already catch up on some issue that I’ve been neglecting to write.

There’s no space for trial and error on this election. Campaign, debates and interviews are the only way to know more about the candidates and electing them for 6 years of service should be final. We can’t bring back time just because you regret casting your vote to someone who doesn’t have a clear plan. This is not just for you and this is for everyone, for all of us.  

I’m really not planning to post about politics but I think I should on whenever it will be, that’s I’m not sure of. 

Leg day is real. Lol / Sore muscles. 

In the reality that we are living in, our responsibility doesn’t just start and stop on a certain time. 

People should be nicer and kind these days. 

I decided to take mela tonight and I’m waiting to take effect and now I’m being too emotional.

Why is it so hard to sleep the past week.

Impromptu SM Taytay trip and mall still doesn’t amuse me these days. 

I guess I should start the process of my hair by next weekend if not tonight. 

Why am I preparing myself to have another debate with my apologist aunts after some debates and the recent rallies. Unless I will ban them here in the house until after election. Lol

When we’ll be able to really moved on and go back to the reality that we used to after the last 2 years? 

When I thought everything is already okay but then it is not. Back to hibernation

Anxiety attack

Why do I feel some guilt to at least have some time for myself. 

I don’t mind people from my past to follow me on socials but please know your boundaries. 

Some collect Starbucks tumbler and I do collect different types of Klean Kanteen. Lol

If you are going to make a long post about the candidate that you decided to vote with all your reasons, expect a discussion and be open about it. It is not fair to tell people to just respect your opinion most especially just after a certain interview. That is the exact mentality of the person that you are supporting and your reasons are not enough to justify the future of this country for the next 6 years.

Book . Two Can Keep A Secret

 

This book was assigned to the book club months ago and I still haven't keep up to them until now. I keep tabs though on what are the book that they voted for the month . I'm still trying to get back on reading that I have a goal to read at least 10 books for this year and hopefully I will be able to do it. 

I don't have anything against Young Adults since it is fun to read sometimes also to be distracted on this current reality. Though this is a little bit of a thriller and since I already watched the One of Us is Lying on Netflix just a couple of weeks back and I never knew that was book based. Then I was browsing what to read and I thought this will be not as thriller as I think it is so, I gave it a try. 

I'm having a hard time balancing everything one again. All I did was to start reading again than being stuck on watching another limited series on Netflix. 

This was okay gave it 4 stars on Goodreads just because like One of Us is Lying there are so many twist and turn from here and there. I had a hard time keeping tabs on the character that was being mentioned from time to time but I get used to it anyway.
