Social Media Over Reality

Despite of the Tita Mode during that one night at The Yard, one specific moment took all of our attention that makes us laugh and I still can't move on that I need to put all my thoughts in here. Haha

We found a table that was specifically just for one food stall that we already jump into it rather than not having a table. With the hunger plus no table it's hard to bring our mood in the happy place. Putting us outside our comfort zone means one thing, we observe a lot. It's not our crowd, yes but doesn't mean we don't have any idea on what these kind of people are and as who we are, we can totally adjust to different circumstances as long as we have each other. 

I will not apologize if we are too observant because Gem and I were born to be one. Haha. Not to mention Gem started all of it and pass it to me later on that night. Haha. We are already on our table waiting for our order when there was this couple seating across our table and the girl was taking selfie. 

Selfie is a must in this generation so that's pretty normal not until, minutes passed by and you are not done yet. Geez how many selfie is required within a day? Seriously? Is there any required numbers of selfie during a day most especially when you are out in one of the most popular places right now? Is there any rule that there should be a gazillion photos taken before and after eating? Gazillion food pictures are more acceptable than gazillion of selfies (group picture is totally a different story). 

So yeah, the girl didn't stop while waiting for her boyfriend who was ordering food and she was just taking photos of herself for maybe 30 minutes. Haha. Friendly advice, if it's against the light you can never do anything about it, you can't capture your face and the background at the same time unless you will settle with a shadow of your head with it. If you will have a never ending selfie mode, get a whole team to do the picture taking. Haha. I was so close to volunteer as her photographer since I had my DSLR that time. Haha. 

Another friendly advice, if you are going to eat like a guy who haven't eaten for weeks, please don't wear something like an off-shoulder romper because it doesn't compliment each other. Haha. Please people, eat according on how you are dressed up. Unless you are at the comfort of your home even you eat like a lion with a very nice long gown, then that's alright but if you are in a public place where there's also a scarcity of tables and seats then it's very inappropriate. 

Scarcity of fabric is so strong in that place too! Haha.

Here's the real reason why I titled this post with Social Media Over Reality. 

What I told on the first part was the real deal and it's not just about what we usually see on social media. That girl who got a whole memory of her phone for her selfies that night might posted those on her social media accounts and people who are just seeing it doesn't know on how she did that. I'm telling you, her struggle to get the "perfect" shot is fucking real!! Haha. 

Generally, I discussed this with my friends that some people post a lot on their social media account but the question is, do they really enjoyed their time while taking that photo? What we usually see on their wall are maybe just 20% of the reality. Who knows if they really enjoyed it maybe it's just for show. This applies most especially to the people who we know who they really are outside their social media account. 

I'm happy that my friends and I don't usually update on actual time of hanging out not unless it's very informative you know like updating each other during basketball games or any information that should be spread ASAP. We usually upload everything late another indication that we really did enjoyed our company that night. I'm not gonna lie there are times that we are distracted with the Internet but usually that's just 10% of our hangout moments. Haha. Well that doesn't happen when it's basketball season because there's too much to talk to. 

One problem that I got with those people are, no matter how many their photos on their memory card for a single event they are uploading EVERYTHING. AS IN EVERYTHING. It's 2016 we can just choose few pictures to upload per event in our life. Why am I ranting about it its your life. Haha. Yeah because it's annoying. Haha.

Before we get jealous on whatever they post ask yourself curiously if those people really enjoyed their time when the picture was taken. I think most of the time it's just for show. 

Just enjoy however you are living as long as you're happy and you aren't ruining anybody. And if you are going to share something on the Internet be sure you share whatever that's real because you are fooling yourself more than you are fooling the people who will see it.

Mind Your Own

Meeting a lot of people with different personality is pretty normal for all of us but choosing who to be close with is the difference.

Personally, I encountered a lot of people even at some point in life I'm an introvert. Well, this year, I was able to know another side of people that at some point I definitely didn't know existed. I was amazed because I was able to discover that side even though I didn't personally looked for it it just came to me.

I also discovered some shitty people this year. I mean I know those kind of people exist but to the extent that I only believe that my crime series are the only one who have those character, this year I discovered it do exist in reality and it is pretty close that I wish I can just do whatever the people on my series can do to those kind of people. Not really to kill them you know but at least give them some bullets of words to kill their shitty personality or at least be awake on reality because I'm pretty much sure that they are having some fantasy that they own the world.

I want to blame the trust issue of some but when we can't go back to years ago, we just need to prevent on how it will not be spreading shit all over the place. The question is if the person doesn't have an open mind then who to call? Most likely its a dead-end.

Maybe you are stalking me online then HELLO! this is for you. YES, YOU!!! If you ever find this blog.

Let me tell you something, you are narcissistic and histrionic at the same time. Well, most people have those but you are over the top.

Inventing and manipulating stories will never ever going to bring you at the top. How did you know old stories when you are just here for a week and now you are spreading it like you know the real deal since 1980s? FYI, we are not in class room anymore when we used to talk about the love story of Jose Rizal that any of us doesn't know what was the real deal.

Being jealous of some people will also not going to bring you somewhere. Mind your own shit. Mind your own business. Mind your own life. Look in the mirror all of us are imperfect before you judge, why not judge yourself first. Analyze yourself if you will be able to benefit a lot in a good way at the end by doing this shitty stuff. Yes it will make you famous but what else are you getting in the end? Nothing. Yes, you will earn nothing. You will just clearly will get nothing for being so shitty.

You will lose all the people around you because you can't be trusted with anything. Hence, they don't even call you friend because you don't earn the title. Maybe some close to you are being shy for the person you have become and they can't stop shaking their heads from disappointments. But of course if there are people sticking by your side when this time comes, be thankful because you are not alone being a shitty one.

My advice? STOP IT.

STOP YOUR ILLUSION
STOP BEING AN INSTANT INVENTOR
STOP BEING MANIPULATIVE
STOP BUILDING YOUR FANTASY

because people are not so dumb that they will believe you.

If you are being like this because you are being treated like shit then make it stop. Its your personal life you should focus on that because that's where you have the total control. You don't need anyone when it comes to your personal issue. You don't need to spread the bad vibes. Make it stop.

In the end, you are the loser of this fantasy of yours. You will not win, you will not succeed because in the future you will be forever hiding for all the things that you've done and you will just going to feel so sorry for your own and when it comes, people will never believe in you anymore.

So I'm telling you now that you should stop while its not yet late to control it.

Make sure that you will not cross anymore boundaries because when you hit what is closer to me, you will never see my army coming. Remember, people are not stupid and there will always be watchers who knows what is the real deal.

Be careful on whatever you are planning because I'm telling you that you will never succeed in a very good way. So better stop it now before its too late to feel so sorry for your own.

Make your self busy by focusing on your own self, on your own issues. Watch teleserye so you will have something to do or separate the coffee, sugar and creamer on a 3-in-1 pack of coffee or whatever that will make you occupied for the rest of your life without shitting others. Geez, I'm curious on how can you sleep at night.

Seriously, there are a lot of things to be busy about rather than inventing and manipulating stories ... Oh wait, I bet you can be a very good writer. Why not shift to that kind of job? You are very promising in that field.

Charlie is my new friend.

I wanted this book (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) ever since I don't know and I was tempted to buy a hard copy when I visit the bookstore  but I told myself that I should finish first the other hard copy books that I haven't read but then I was lucky to get an ebook of it! I started to read it this week and finished it earlier. I love it and I know some other time, I will read it again. I can relate to him in some aspects and somehow I wanted to live in their time together with Sam and Patrick and everyone else.. I'm missing my friends when I'm reading it and when I say I miss them, I miss them so bad!!!!! It also makes me miss high school and there will be these moments when I wish I'm still in high school and I wonder what will happen if ever things never happened the way it was. Maybe I can be friends with Sam and Patrick too, I think they're cool and I love how Sam is always there for everyone most especially on the last part when she gave some lesson to Charlie and to Patrick who is always there for you no matter what even though you're so weird like Charlie and those kind of friends who always cry if something big or small thing happened but still they don't hate or judge you and they just let you do your own thing. I love them.

I do really recommend this book ONLY if you're 15 years of age and above. If you're weird like me you'll love it too. I also learned a lot on this book thanks to the words of Patrick, Charlie and Sam, oh and to Bill too!

A little jealous on what Charlie went through with his friends and family but I know we have our own experience in life and that's makes it more special and memorable. I'm a little sad too about the ending, I wish there was a lot more about the college life of his friends but as he said he will learn to participate more and I wish he really was and I'm happy for him.

Its not bad to be happy for your friends, its not bad to cry in front of your friends but make sure they will not hate and judge you (if they judge you for that then I think they are not real friends), its fun to do everything with your friends even the craziest thing on earth. Sometimes you have to stay away from your friend when there are issues but KNOW when to enter the scene again (they miss you if you're missing in action). Friends accept you for who you really are and they should be there too if you need them (its not a requirement but I know there will be the dumbest reason and you still say "That's what friends are for" or "We're friends that what friends do for their friends").  

This what happened to me when I don't go out at night anymore, HAHAHA. I stopped hanging out with friends since everyone is busy but once in a while I still meet Gem and I still watch basketball. Pretty much that's what happening in my life right now. Boring right? HAHA

I have more books to read, I still have 2 books from Mitch Albom, 1 book from Bob Ong, Room by Emma Donoghue, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the very famous right now the book series of 50 Shades of Grey. I'm looking forward for these books because I really love the author as well as the reviews and 50 Shades of Grey will be my first time to read a book series ... Though I still want to read Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber but I don't know where to get a copy, I'm still searching for an ebook.

- I guess that's just want I wanna say or post here.
I do really miss my friends and I'm thinking of some grown up things and some work related stuff and somehow its exhausting but that's what life is all about, maybe I need to figure out some more things to know what's the best thing to do. brb

How Long Will You Hold On

I still find some mood to read some books again and I kinda miss doing book review but this is not going to be a book review but most likely a comment or an opinion to this book that I just finished. The title of the book is “A Life That Matters - The Legacy of Terri Schiavo" story written by her family, this was a christmas gift from my mom couple of years ago and I don’t know if she know Terri Schiavo or not. I first heard Terri Schiavo when I was still in college, Ethics class of Ma’am Padua (if I’m not mistaken ...) and the topic was euthanasia. 

I started to read this couple of months ago but sometimes I got bored that I have to stop reading it because there are many unfamiliar names but I really appreciate the story, the effort of the people who helped Terri’s family and everyone who volunteered. I don’t know but I think I know them already even though I don’t know them personally just because of this book. I know it happened 7 years ago but there are moments that I questioned “Why did Michael act like that?”, he put away Terri to her family most of the time, maybe there are other reason but if he don’t like to be involve already why not just let go of Terri to her family?. I don’t know what happened next to Terri’s family after she passed away, if there are major changes in their life but as I was searching, the family put up a foundation (The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation)

It’s just so sad that you can’t put feeding tube to a person who is badly needing it until the judge or whoever approved it. I wonder if they will be on Terri’s position or at least one of their family members, what will they do? Same question to the people who’s being so rude to the Schindler family. What if there will be someone like Michael to their lives? And that person took your freedom on seeing one of your family members?

Out of 100%, 99%  Terri’s family might not see this but 1% is too big for anyone of them to read this.

To: Terri's family,

Terri might be gone for so long now but I know there are these moments when you still wish that she should be still alive, but as you mentioned on the last part that maybe the feeding tube wasn’t inserted to her because it has to be inserted on the Pope that time, if you count is as a miracle well, maybe it is. I salute you for all the effort you’ve done most especially when Terri is still on the hospice/hospital for so long, if that happened to some people probably they will just broke down and let their loved one died and will not reach years on holding on. I salute you on so many ways.

 Involvement of some high positioned politician, getting the attention of the Vatican, many people volunteered to help you and even though most people are being so rude to your family and to Terri, you still hold on. More power to your organization and to everyone involves, and I will forever salute your strength. Holding on to something like that for so long is an inspiration. I will always remember the story of your family.

We should really forgive but I understand where you are coming from when all those years Michael is putting Terri away from you. God is very understandable, I know he understand your situation, there are just things in this world that sometimes we don't really understand but as what I read, you saw Terri as a messenger to a million of people, that might be the reason on what happened but Michael will always be connected to Terri's death. It might easy to accept that God have reason why he took Terri after years on the hospice rather than forgiving Michael on what he has done (sounds rude, I know). Also, I can't imagine how Michael sleeps every night after what he have done to your family.

I will forever admire your strenght on fighting for Terri. Terri may be the messenger on something but you guys should also be an inspiration to every family.

More power to your organization and to everyone involves, and I will forever salute everything that you’ve done for Terri. Holding on to something like that for so long should be an inspiration. I will always remember the story of your family.

Random Talk

Nowadays, we are surrounded by different phone brands and style, certain post of people on twitter or on facebook are question on "What phone to get?" most especially if they are upgrading their mobile phones.
I don't know what will be the ending of this post but I'm trying not to be biased and just being a practical person who will give you advice on where to spend your money.

Personally, I got my first phone when I was 11 or 12 years old and I did own a Nokia 5110 and after so many years mobile phones changed a lot. Last time I tweeted "Is the iPhone 4/4s the new Nokia 5110?" because I think everyone is getting an iPhone right now, lets begin with it.

iPhone - iPhone has been upgrading since they released their first unit back then and last year they released the 4s where you'll have your secretary/friend Siri together with the upgraded iOS5 (not to mention the coming iOS6 that will be released soon). If you don't know what I'm talking about then iPhone might not be suits to you. Apple is very good investment but you should think a million times before getting it and its not just about the application (if you are after the apps then I think you should just get the New iPad or the iPad 2 and just spend your extra money on an Android phone, a Blackberry, a Nokia, or on a Cherry Mobile or on a my|phone (trying to get on those after). You should also consider your lifestyle on getting a phone.
Certain things that you should be aware of are: iPhone is better if you have wi-fi at home, or you can register on certain promo of your service provider (which is a pain in the pocket) so you can have the whole world in your mobile phone, if talking about application: you should have an Apple ID so you can download on Apps Store or spend 500PHP - 1000PHP for some mobile technician to put certain games/apps on it and Emoji don't appear on other phones. Apple have a new product almost every year.

Blackberry - is famous for its Blackberry Messenger also known as BBM (that you can only use it with person who also using blackberry) bbm is so nice unlimited texting, sending pictures, sharing files, sending music, its nice if you got your friends on bbm even though they are on different service provider or even when you're on a different country (Apple's iMessage cannot beat BBM). Blackberry is good on texting and calling and having few songs but using it as an internet all day phone is a NO, because most of their batteries are just good for a day. On the good side, (as for my experience) I can put files like word documents, power point and excel. Some Blackberry phones have an auto focus on the camera app while some don't have. If you want a phone that you will feed some games app then Blackberry is not for you, mostly its for business people or for people who just want a smart phone that its not that complicated. There are also some affordable promo from different service provider for you to use the different social networking apps and also be connected on the internet.

Android Phone - Android phones are the cheapest smart phone that anyone can have but choose a nice unit of phone but as far as I know and as I see other people, mostly they're using a Samsung, I don't know  what comes next but you have SO MANY choices like:

• LG (I'm not familiar to it but some unit have a nice look)
• HTC (which have a nice look and screen display and also in favor to a music lover)
• Samsung (have the cheapest phone (I think) on the market and also an expensive one and the S series particularly the S2 and S3 which is the phone that compete with the iPhone
•  ..... that's the only thing that I know about Android Phones ...

Android phones are the best alternative if you can't afford an iPhone (just choose the right one). If you want a phone where you can put so many game apps and different social networking apps and have limited budget, then an Android phone is for you. It's also good of your home is a wi-fi spot so you can be connected on the internet and download some apps for your phone and most of the paid apps on iPhone are mostly free on the Android Market / Google Play.

Nokia - I'm really not familiar on the new Nokia phones I just knew that its already a Window Phone and I only knew few people who are using Nokia but Nokia phones are still the friendly phones out there most especially if its for parents or kids that are first time users.

If you are upgrading your phone you should consider a lot of things, think about it million times before buying, if it will suits your lifestyle, your budget, is it going be be useful to you whether your a student or working. Consider the specification of the product, read some reviews, watch some reviews on youtube, ask some people who are using it, ask some people who are familiar to such things. There are so many things to consider yet there are also different pros and cons of each. Better know on how long you can use it, if you are not worrying on the budget (when you can buy anything, GO buy it) but sometimes think or read some article if there will be another one by couple of months or weeks. Just read, watch and ask, there are no wrong by learning on a specific product most especially that the internet is just there most of the time.

Think million of times and if you came to the point that you can't stop thinking about a specific unit then you already know what you want but if a family member gave you something that you might not want or something just be thankful. :p

Bon Chon

After our mini vacation (will do that post that as another entry) last week, we decided to go to Megamall because it's hard to go home straight from Cubao. JV said that we should eat at Bon Chon since he was the one who already ate there couple of time already ... I'm a little excited to try it since I see people tweeting about it and there's nothing wrong on trying new stuff most especially when it comes to food. lol 

No doubt that people really like it because we have to wait for a couple of minutes before getting our table.

I'm just amazed that they have Mogu Mogu but it's almost double the price when you bought on a convenient store or supermarket. 

That's my order which is a Thigh Ricebox (Soy Garlic). A little disappointed since the chicken skin is just the one that have the taste of a garlic but the inside feels just like a normal chicken (if you know what I mean).

It's good tho, I can say that I will come back soon but not as I come back to Jollibee, Mcdo and KFC for chicken and they need to find or transfer to a bigger place.

My Past Time

This is so overdue. PBA game ... I don't know, I forgot. HAHAHA but yep once in a while I watched basketball but my "once in a while" will be over once UAAP got back on track! Imagine my Tumblr having a lot of UAAP basketball post last year. I think this was April 27, where we meet at SM Centerpoint then watched FilOil Pre-season (I don't have photos from that game) and rushed to Araneta to watch PBA. It was a great day with Gem aka my basketball buddy/dude. Basketball is our stress reliever even though we spent almost 1,000PHP a day and hopefully we will not repeat that this year or this coming season of UAAP since I told her that I lost the excitement on watching some games most especially when it will be on MOA Arena for couple of reason and she is busy with work and most important thing is we are saving some money (the hardest thing). So back on my PBA post, this was a game from the Finals where I forgot what game it is ...

I really not into PBA but sometimes I like it because of Gem. So much love for basketball and before I forgot, I admire James Yap on playing he is a good basketball player. I don't know how but when watching PBA, you can't avoid to say WHOA! or sometimes you can't avoid just to seat, out of nowhere you will stand because someone did an awesome move.

About MOA Arena, maybe I'll watch a few games just to experience the new place. Argggghhh. MOA Arena, WHY SO FAR? :(

Prayer vigil to stop a concert?

My first impression was WHAT?! Last night this spread to the news. I don't have anything against Lady Gaga even though there are these other interpretation when it comes to her other song like Alejandro and Judas, where Judas make the big impact to a lot of people since its something related on a religious matter. I listen to a lot of music, introduced to some new artist / singer but when I don't like them or I don't feel the music their making I don't listen to it and I just don't care that much to the artist, for example Justin Bieber. I don't like him though most of the people around you as well as the radio are playing his song mostly requested by the listener or its on a daily countdown, you really can't avoid it. Lady Gaga have a different reason why she is being banned on different countries in Asia like Indonesia is hating her, same in Korea (if I'm not mistaken).

I really don't get it, Lady Gaga is just singing what she wants, writing her own songs when no one is being harmed while she is writing those stuff most especially she is just being herself and is it wrong to sing your heart out? is it bad to be yourself? it doesn't mean that she is like that and her fans will follow. Where is respect from these people? Yeah, maybe tickets are that expensive and most people can't afford the patron and can be just there on the general admission where they can see Lady Gaga almost in an ant size.

Why just pray for this country? I find it rude that you want to stop a concert. For the group that will make a prayer vigil to stop that show, are you ready if the fans are the one will face you on your prayer vigil? Seriously, fans love her and they respect her, so please let this concert happen and don't waste your time because the concert will happen, knowing that the first day is almost sold out? what are you going to do if you'll be facing the fans? they will just ignore you. Do you know how long they waited for her to come back after 3 or 4 years?  I just don't get it why. You have a different belief and faith and she have a different one, why can't get it?

I'm not being bitter because I can't afford or I don't have extra budget to watch her but I know the feeling if you are a super fan of the artist and you waited for so long to see her and then rude people will have a prayer vigil just to stop her because of couple of songs? I dare you to see the different side of Lady Gaga from this interview and because of her people have new hope to be their own self without any pretentious and she is the one why almost people have the guts to be themselves as well as saving other people from committing suicide. So many people are so thankful most especially the little monsters that Lady Gaga exist or else/maybe some kids end their lives already.

Please open your minds, and don't waste your time on something you know you can't change. Let the little monster be happy for a day or two to see Lady Gaga and enjoy her concert, FYI she is a great performer and she love us, little monster. Paws up little monster.

Psychology Majors

this photo has been on my facebook timeline since last night posts/shared by some batch mates and its really funny and somehow true (?) HAHA! I think its very appropriate when we're still on college but I don't know if its applicable after college! Let me share my opinion about this.

how our parents see us - maybe because we are always reviewing, reading something, doing some paper works ..etc.

how our professors see us - they see us like that because for them we are really having a hard time when it comes to their subjects, which is actually true! Most especially when we're going to have examination, quizzes. We do really read and try and do our best just to pass our major subjects.

how the society sees us - YES! that's how society sees us. to prove you that this is so true, when we have a project to ask strangers or people most especially on Quiapo area specifically the vendors. We asked them, what do you think Psychology Majors future work or what do they do and they will answer forecaster of the future.

how the world sees us in the future - talking to kids, helping other people with their problem, trying to give advice and doing your best to listen to friends or other people. (this is so true!)

how we see ourselves -  YEAH! haha we think we are already crazy people and labeling ourselves with different psychological problem ((for example: we're already have  Obsessive Compulsive Disorder when we just want some cleanliness or orderliness on our things or on our area)) maybe because when people ask you "What is your course" and you will answer "Psychology" and they we're like "ahhh .. crazy people". lol

what we really do -  REST, SLEEP, EAT, surf the internet, being lazy all day or just relaxing. we just know how to relax and forget about other people and there will be the time that we'll tell you, I DON'T CARE!

HAHA, whoever did that photo, he/she is fantastic being! HAHA its somehow about joke time or that's REALITY. :)
