UAAP S88 . FEU vs DLSU

November 16, 2025 

On my Timehop last year was the last game day of FEU for S87 against UP also little did we all know what will be the plot twist months later.

Anyways, I asked Gem if she’s available but she was not so I'm not sure if I will watch alone but according to schedule this game or the game on Saturday (Nov 22) are my only option to be able to watch a game live. I don't want to regret not watching a single game this season as for tradition already. Since it’s Sunday I was still undecided about watching but also I said it depends on my mood and also on the weather. 

I've been checking online if I can score some patron ticket since it will be DLSU and the second game will be UP that I’m assuming that it will be filled up. The night before last time to check for patron tickets or I’ll check at the venue if there's still available but hello there was few patron tickets available online like just 3 or 4 tickets. I waited some time to check out since I'm still unsure and few minutes later I bought it. I’m watching the game. 

Sunday / game day - I was about to leave then it rain and I don’t want to bring an umbrella so I wasted 30 minutes just waiting for the rain to stop. When I decided to get an umbrella the rain stopped. 

I was hoping to catch the Women’s but I decided to eat first so that took some time too and I went to some usual stores that I checked every time at Gateway so I missed that first 5 minutes of the 1st quarter. I don't really expect a win since the team has been struggling all season probably still adjusting with the changes or it was just they can’t finish strong. 

I came to the point after watching all these years that somehow I can watch games as calm as Sir Mark Molina or Sir Anton Montinola as I thought because that last 2 minutes of the game was insane. I was calm really but my heart is racing silently. 

WE WON? As I asked myself and finally confirming it as I checked the time and everyone on the bench is also celebrating already. I don't have video since I really have no expectations that we will win but WE WIN. A win is still a win and it really depends on how you finish the game. 

I still can’t process it that we won because honestly on both teams they could’ve been some changes on that last seconds of the game. Both teams still got a time out left and as FEU they can risk it but if you are down by just a point, you could have called a time out. Maybe as we all thought that there are still more time but someone should noticed that on the other side of the bench and by not calling that time out and for some reason maybe the basketball gods says this is for FEU. 

This current FEU team, they badly deserve to win a game against the big teams and I'm happy that they were able to get it. It’s just a bonus for me as a supporter and as an alumni. This team can be dangerous the next season as well hopefully no more plot twist that is heartbreaking. 

For Kirby Mongcopa, after losing some years due to his accident I don't think he will let another year or so to not play the game. 

Yes, if Veejay Pre was still in the team it will be another story for FEU but decisions has been made. That chemistry of this champion team from Baby Tams is unbelievable and there might be a missing piece from them but they somehow proved how good they can be without their friend and everyone’s friend, Pre.

I also watched the 2nd game with UP and Adamson and as I want for Adamson to win, sorry Coach Nash but we badly need UP to win apparently for our chance to still be able to join the Final Four but still depends on our last two games and to the other games. hehe

Hi, Coach Nash! So nice to see you! Come back already, it’s been 10 years since we won that championship. Lol

DLSU won against ADMU and just eliminated FEU and ADMU on a chance for the 4th spot on the Final Four. 

It was an unpredictable season and probably will be carried on the Final Four. We'll see.  

Also, Janrey for MVP?? DESERVE.

UAAP S87 . FEU vs UP

 November 16 2024 

I don’t really plan to watch this last game of FEU for the 2nd round but Gem is available and wanted to watch so why not. I plan to watch the women’s game before the FEU game but as usual I underestimated the Saturday traffic and I think I chose the wrong form of transportation going to San Juan. 

Gem need to get her laptop fixed for a while now so we met at Greenhills then lunch and then FilOil. I haven’t seen a game at FilOil for so long. We don’t have tickets so we decided to buy there but WTF, FilOil do host Volleyball and we lined up for 30 minutes for tickets? All we thought we missed the whole first half but it was just the 1st quarter that we missed. Ticket should be 50% off when the game is done with the 1st half most especially if it's the fault of the ticketing booth. 

Anyway, what are the chances to win this game to be able to grab that 4th spot but maybe not this year, it was a tough season but at least we know at the end that everyone enjoyed it. Looking forward for the next season with hopefully the same squad.

UAAP S87 . Women's and Men's Basketball

- Women's Basketball (FEU vs Ateneo / UE vs UST)

- Men's Basketball (FEU vs Ateneo / UE vs UST) 

Gem can't make it today and since I was staying in Cubao that weekend so why not wake up a little early and watch the women's basketball since I do watch it at home at some time and I witnessed how UST won the championship last season. 

I love it since there are only few people who are watching the women's games and it was a very different ambiance compare to men's. 

I learned and somehow realizes some stuff that I don't usually just see or observe during men's and I was enlighten really to the deeper side of basketball. I've been trying to figure it out somehow and learning about the side of coaching so I'm somehow discovering the other side in a good way though. 

One more reason why I decided to watch the women's is because of someone but I don't want to be tagged as a stalker, one way or another I enjoyed watching the women's. Probably just guess that "someone". haha! Also, basketball is my usual escape.

Fast forward to the men's it is one of the best games to watch and to be seated at the back of the bench is always a treat. We won against Ateneo which was satisfying since there are times that if it is Ateneo, you will not win automatically. There was some season where we only watch live a game against Ateneo just to see if we can beat them. I don't know about you but there's somehow a silent rival between FEU and Ateneo and it's good to witness that once in a while. 

Even there's still have a few seconds left and seeing the bench rejoicing, everyone's happy and just enjoying the win for that day. I somehow caught in on video and it's one of my favorite. 

I really planned to watch the second game between UE and UST then maybe leave at the half but then even I'm got sleepy during the game, I was awaken with the bad officiating and the intensity of the game. I was hoping for UE to win but then their overall score is already the score of a single player of UST, I know it is possible for UE to win unless another miracle in the end. Though before that happened UE was slammed with foul here and there then the unsportsmanlike foul on Momowei. A win of UE will somehow open a small window for FEU to still have a chance for Final Four

UAAP S87 . October 12, 2024

 

Honestly, the schedule for this season is a little bit of a mess but somehow okay. Since we are all have busy life, we can only watch a few games live and this is the first one for this season and hopefully not the last. 

Gem of course the first to arrived at Araneta and there's no more Patron tickets since DLSU have a game right after the first game. 

FEU is not doing good during the first round because of so many aspects - new coach, everyone is still adjusting to the league and the system. We were somehow a rebuilding team this season but honestly coming to the second round, they got the groove already. 

Back to the game - it was a very close game and that intense 4th quarter good thing we tied for an extra 5 minutes and we won. YAY! Thank you, Adamson and Coach Nash! hehe 

With the standings, you have to win obviously but as fan we are happy that UE is thriving to be on the Final 4 after years; UP still winning despite of losing every game some years ago and Ateneo being on the bottom of the standings who would've thought seriously. FEU and ADMU are always the one doing the Finals and everyone is sick of it but look what the standing this season right at the end of the first round. 

The joy of being a UAAP fan during this season. 

You just to enjoy it because the next thing you know, this season is over. 

Hopefully, we can still watch another game before this season ends. 

Final 4 for the Tams? Hopefully! 

UAAP S86 . October 7, 2023

Another game day on a weekend and in Araneta? Why would I dare to miss it. 

One reason why I stop watching most games because, MOA Arena is fucking too far for me but I love watching in there.

This UAAP addiction started in Araneta and that’s why I love it there so much. Also it is easy access to every university for any games. 

Also this game day feels like a jackpot since there were 4 games in a day and only one ticket for all. FEU’s game will be as late since it will the last game of the day, I just plan to pig out inside Araneta while watching at least 3 games. Haha. 

No matter what seat it will be as long as I got patron tickets, we are good. We changed seats every game just because and we got perfect seats when it was FEU’s game already. 

Feels good to see familiar faces. 

As on my schedule this will be the last game that we will watch live for the first round. We’ll see by next month. 

Another day that we didn’t win.

UAAP S86 . October 1, 2023

Sept 21 the schedule of UAAP was released. I saw it at almost midnight and almost the birthday of Gem. Put some effort to plot it on my calendar so I can see clearly what are the games we can watch. 

Opening weekend at MOA and it’s a Sunday. I found out that my cousin will attend a cosplay event at SMX so I asked if I can go with them so I can watch the game and when I can, Gem and I already scheduled that day. 

I’m still so hesitant to watch because really La Salle as our first game and we are still considered as a “building team”. Anyway, the last few years just don’t matter that way to me as long as I enjoy watching collegiate basketball. Of course, it’s a plus if we win but no high hopes on such. 

We didn’t win that day and as of writing this we haven’t won any games yet. 

UAAP will always be a distraction and a stress reliever for me so why would I stress myself more if we win or not. Lol 

It’s also so good to be back inside MOA Arena . 

UAAP S85 . 0-5

October 15 2022

Never in our 11 years of watching the UAAP that we started the season with a 0-5. As far as I remember never since FEU won the championship during Arwind Santos era or even way before that.  

This game is not really planned to watch live but since Kit requested to watch then wish granted. You can’t say no to the bro if he is the one making a request, well we can’t say no to him. Haha 

I made sure that he is sure that we will go to MOA to watch a 2pm game and he constantly say yes until earlier that Saturday with all the traffic he will start asking if we are still going. I’m already on my way by then. Haha 

I don’t usually watch when our schedule falls on a first game but luckily the arena wasn’t full for the 2 games. It was okay I needed to get out of home town as well and be reminded of the this kind of ambience. I still enjoy watching basketball from time to time. I know that at some point I will be able to miss this once the season is over and I just want to maximize the season. Appreciating it as well and living at the moment. 

Adamson was the 2nd game and we also still support Coach Nash. Gem was asking on when will be the time where she can have another photo with Coach Nash again. We went out after the 3rdQ of the 2nd game to have coffee and hangout a bit. 

An hour later she already booked a ride to BGC because they will have dinner. Right when we were walking to the parking I saw the daughter of Coach Nash and few moments later, I realized that it was Coach Nash who was walking in front of them! It’s not a very appropriate to ask for photo that moment but sorry coach I have to take your photo to send to Gem as proof! I still respect these people even I’m silently freaking out inside. Haha 

One of the best highlight of yesterday. 

We will not be watching any games for the rest of the 1st round so hopefully there will be a game or two to watch in the 2nd round that will be fitting just right on our schedule. 

Wasn’t able to have a proper dinner after the game and I was home early than usual. 

Still looking forward for a win for the next games. 

 

 

UAAP S84 . First Live Game in 2022

This day will never be possible if the UAAP never allowed the 6th man inside the arena after 4 game days. 

We got late basketball schedule for April 7 (Thursday) & 9 (Saturday) and we are all busy on a weekday so we settled to watch live on Saturday. 

One week of waiting. I got very anxious plus it rained for a day and I don’t want to rain if i will be traveling to MOA from hometown. I’m so hesitant but my cousin, Dap convinced me and said that we will watch rain or shine. YAY. 

I wasn’t thinking about it that I just want to survive the week and enjoy Saturday. I just couldn’t figure it out why I was extra busy with a backlog on Thursday and Friday. It makes me feel so guilty to go out the next day but I make sure that I finish everything. 

Saturday came and I can’t believe that I woke up seeing some ray of sunshine and I became so excited. 

The whole week, I was slowly getting ready on what to bring and what bag to use and the shoes. I haven’t been out that I need to prepare all of these in advance so I will not forget some things as well. Good thing I did that since one of the side of the strap of the bag broke and I was able to see it in advance. 

Everything went well as planned. Thankful for the free MRT ride as well and we made it to MOA without raining. It was a good day. 

I’m so excited to see Brobabes and finally hangout for the whole day plus enjoying basketball, the one event in our lives that started it all. Maybe that’s one reason why even after 10 years we still watch and enjoy it. 

Game days are packed now since 4 basketball games are happening in a day (10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm) unlike before that there are only 2 games in a day. 

Gem miss UAAP so much because she was so busy pre-pandemic that she can’t find time to watch anymore so most likely this was her first game after maybe in 4 years (I’m not sure so as she). Haha

Kit wasn’t answering us when we asked him all week if he will join us and upon buying tickets, I let go of the idea that he will be joining us. When Gem and I met after buying tickets, she asked me if I bought one for Kit and I said no since he wasn’t answering us all week. We decided to call him and I know that he have his hesitations as well but he said that he will go last minute.

After buying tickets, our game will still be at 7pm so we decided to go around MOA on where to eat but apparently everything is full. It was a Saturday and a holiday although I want to roam around but it was tiring without any place to stay so I told them that maybe we should just go inside MOA Arena already and eat whatever food there is inside. We went inside by 2pm just in time for the 4th quarter of AdU vs DLSU. Perfect timing since we miss Coach Nash who is the current head coach of AdU. 

It was so good to watch a UAAP game again after 903 days for me. Lol 

It was so good just to be inside MOA Arena as well. 

After the AdU and DLSU game we went outside to eat and there are few choices but it is okay. Hopefully there will be more choices next time since we are all willing to eat most especially for some who stays the whole day. 

We waited for some chairs and table to be emptied since some are already done watching their respective games and some just arrived to watch the next game which is ADMU and UST. 

We just talked outside and re-entered the arena by 4th quarter of ADMU and UST. While we wait for Kit who arrived just after that game. 

3/4 of Brobabes are united again after 6 months when we hangout in my hometown. 

We still have 1 hour to spare before the FEU-UP game so we did catch up for a while. 

It felt like we hangout and talk 24/7 which is not but I guess if you have this kind of friendship turned family now, we just know.

GAME TIME 

I’ve been keeping track of the 1st round and with the lousy game we have which is understandable for everyone since most of them didn’t have proper basketball game since 2019. There are also lots of new faces as well with the changes on the coaching staff which by the way, I didn’t get any update during the pandemic. I kind of step away from basketball stuff since somehow it also stopped. 

This season it is also hard to predict who will win except for ADMU, anyway. Lol 

It feels so good to see UP win since we also witnessed them during the time they are always at the bottom of the standings. UE is the one that’s at the bottom at the moment. 

So good to be able to celebrate if our players will shoot, jump if it was a 3-point shot, shout defense if they are on the other side of the court, to cheer for our team and to finally sing that FEU hymn again. 

We didn’t win but it was not as hurtful as it is before. Maybe for me it didn’t matter anymore as long as we were able to witness a UAAP basketball again, to be the 6th man inside the arena.

The game ended by 9pm and we just ate dinner and left MOA by 11pm. 

One of the best day after so long.

UAAP S82 . Basketball

Ahhh. Basketball, how I missed you. 

I’m a UAAP fan even I wasn’t in college yet last year (Season 81), I dare myself to not watch even a single game live. After 7 years of consistently watching, I didn’t watch live for last year. Fast forward to 2019 (Season 82) another year that I almost not able to watch a single game, I broke it yesterday I finally once again watched live. 

I’m on timehop for a year now and since I was in a different state of mind from last year, it once again reminded me on how basketball really helped me 8 years ago. It was a very crucial mid-year for me that I really want to write it all down before but I always refuse to write things out. Mid-year was a real struggle that I somehow missing the past more that even I do upload late (as always) on Facebook before, I was being reminded of the good ones. 

One major thing was watching basketball live. 

I was reminded on how it helped me cope. 

How basketball is a relaxing ambience to me. 

How basketball makes me feel safe. 

From not totally watching live last year, I’m slowly trying to go back to it but it doesn't mean that I will be watching every game of FEU. I just realized lately, that it was our most expensive months that I was thinking on why on earth I wasn’t able to save up before and these memories makes me realize that and I just laugh at the idea of it.

After a rocky first round, a questionable losses, shitty schedule for this season and even hanging from the Final Four spot, I decided last minute to watch live. 

The traffic is horrible everywhere that before I can get to Araneta in an hour, maybe it will take 2 hours now and maybe 3-4 hours to MOA or worst who knows. I can still make time for weekday game but since they added a 10:30am and a 12:30pm this year, no thanks. Haha

Weekend games are somehow not in our favor and on weekends I chose to just locked up myself in the house than get out. 

I was so hesitant when we have a game in Ynares in Antipolo during the first round and since it didn’t permit me to watch too for some personal reason, I let it pass. 

Yesterday it was perfect, it wasn’t raining, it was Saturday and it was once again just in Antipolo that my travel time was just 30 minutes. 

If I can’t watch because of location and time schedule, somehow the basketball gods will make a way to bring basketball closer. Yay. 

Yesterday reminded me to be at the moment though it will never really be just like before if Brobabes weren’t there but as for my self, I needed that. 

I needed that break from the outside world and be surrounded with basketball noise. 

I missed that. 

It was so good to see some familiar faces from afar. 

It was so good to watch live and win.

It wasn’t the same feels when being in Araneta or in MOA but I’m so proud on my baby steps on going back to the scene. Lets be honest that I somehow know how things work but if you are putting yourself in just watch-mode it was fun. 

I really needed that. 

And the tita and the introvert in me with this kind of traffic lately, I just choose to be at home and thankful that I don’t need to waste most of my time in traveling even the counter part is the most challenging. 

Who knows if I will be able to watch again before this season ends but if it fits my schedule then maybe I will even it will be in MOA.

unfortunately, we didn't win against UST (stepladder) but it was a good season of basketball. we may already know what will be the ending of this but, thankful for basketball :) 

UAAP S80 . Men's Basketball Champion

Congratulations to Ateneo!

It's really hard at first to distance myself from basketball games most especially it's UAAP season but I was able to detached at some point. 

There was a chance for us to be in the Finals but then we fell short and it's not for us. 

After Ateneno beat us during Final 4, I want them to win instead of DLSU. 

what if it turned out very differently where Adu defeated DLSU and we defeated Ateneo? Ahhh. It will be 2011 time. Yesss. Hahaha. But it's not for both of us, obviously. 

I think everyone agreed that there is no better Game 3 than what we all experienced. 

On my part, no matter what season it is, it's always a treat to witness a game between FEU and ADMU during elimination through the end. 

Even I wasn't able to be updated most of the time about the basketball season, I knew this is one is an unforgettable one. 

Congrats again, Ateneo.

I badly want to laugh out loud that time but I was alone so I just looked down and smile and let out a small laugh.. hahaha

UAAP S79 . FEU

Of course, my favorite team deserve a single post so I can avoid comparing it to other teams. Though I'm really a fan of all the schools but this team is special.

Defending champion as they call us and there's pressure on that even we lose the key players that brought us to that championship. We really never expect to much from the team but we are still supporting them of course. The goal each year is Final 4 and going in to this season, it's hard to tell who teams get better other than DLSU who got Ben Mbala as I said this year is full of surprises too. 

For us Tams the great surprise was when it was end of 1st round eliminations and we are sitting alone on that number 2 spot next to DLSU. We started slow, we were defeated early on this season and that's okay. What we've learned before, it's okay to be defeated early on the season than the important ones at the end. 

Some didn't go our way like our schedule mostly was 1st game even it should be a main game so the crowd really toned down. We ended the season without a go-to guy, our games were giving us heart attack every time because they will do a huge comeback within a minute or two. It was a young team for sure but some of them got experience now so we are already looking forward for next year where Hubert Cani and Arvin Tolentino are expected to join the line up. Most important for next season and we waited for this is that, we are the host next season. 

I think it was during or after the 1st round when rumors began to spread that Coach Nash will be named as the new head coach of Talk N Text in the PBA and that means he will be leaving once the season is over. We are even bothered if he will leave soon since PBA is scheduled to start mid-November and the UAAP isn't over by then. I somehow think that it also affect our players since we had a very rough start on the 2nd round probably a factor next to a long break. 

When it was already confirmed, I never thought that I'll feel the same feeling I had when Terrence decided to join the PBA, it was heartbreaking. Coach Nash is such a respectable person and even we don't know him personally we see it the way he changed the attitude of the players. We love him for that and the way he is during games, he's just too cool even on crucial moments though you can also see if he is upset. Also you have to listen to his interviews because I assure you that you will give you full attention and you will never be distracted. 

S77 was not be for us but imagine if we did it back-to-back but that's for NU, nevertheless he gave us our 20th championship. 

Oh remember when we did a 25k record breaking crowd in Araneta? Yeah. Good times. 

It was hard for this season to be back in the Finals since there are times that we also depend on the other team but we were almost there just a millisecond late. 

At some point, that millisecond also saved all of us from another ticketserye. It saved my friends and I for spending too much if we will still play a 2/3 games. Of course I know that the experience in the Finals is so memorable and we've been there, done that. But knowing that everyone will surely push DLSU to be champion, it will be hard and maybe a little bit frustrating if we went through on the other hand, it will be nice if we did a back-to-back it's definitely their time now. 

Going to the F4 and having a 0-2 record with Ateneo, we really didn't expect too much. For us, being in the F4 was already a huge accomplishment but when we won that game against Ateneo it opened another chance for us to be back in the Finals. Unfortunately we didn't but losing on game 2 with 1 point wasn't that heartbreaking because we all know that it was indeed a one good basketball game, definitely one for the books. 

After the game, we check Twitter while waiting for our food and even that the game wasn't that heartbreaking the tweets of being thankful to Coach Nash made me tear up. Then it started to sink in, Coach Nash will move from UAAP to PBA.  That was also his birthday and we failed to give him a very nice birthday gift. 

Sir Mark Molina said before that they will do everything for Coach Nash to still be part of FEU so let's hope that we can still see him at the bench even it will be a strange one.

Coach Nash, thank you!

UAAP S79 . Thoughts

Watching the G2 Finals while rooting for Ateneo as I wait for a major come back, I feel so sad. Sad because it can be the last day of Men's basketball (and yes, it was the last day). Congratulations to La Salle. 

My favorite season once again wrapped up. It seems like yesterday when we watched our first game. I'll miss it again but I'm looking forward to next year this early. Haha. Hopefully we can watch Football next year because we've been planning to watch a different sport and we haven't done it yet. 

During the Finals aka the "dream finals", I prepared to have good food while watching at home and even planned to have popcorn but I wasn't able to buy ahead of tip off. I really wonder if the hype for this "dream finals" is as high as their first meet during eliminations but then it turned out that first elimination hype is better than this (as for me). 

As I'm rooting for Ateneo during Finals, I can't feel any hype about it. It just feel like elimination, not being bias of maybe because FEU was in the Finals for 2 consecutive seasons but the hype for S77 and S78 was so insane! There were banners, fans trash talking to each team on social media, ticketserye and even it wasn't a "dream finals" for others at least Boom and TJ or one of them was there (yep, that's included), also the fans and students! During S77 NU and FEU was cut somewhere separating each side but since UST and FEU hold the same yellow/gold color it's hard to say where was the line separating the fans during the Finals but do you remember the Popoy/Basha signs? Haha! That meme where they changed the face of the UST students and replaced by Raymar Jose with a caption of "Go Jose! Go Jose!". Haha. 

Though I know that's can't be compare to the rivalry of ADMU and DLSU it was the feeling that was lacking. Sure if you are a fan/alumni/student/employee of both school you will feel the hype. Yeah, maybe because FEU wasn't in the Finals this year but the facts are real deal like one huge thing is the crowd. I believe that both games never reached 18k so for sure the tickets wasn't sold out. Sorry guys I'm so proud that I'm part of a record breaking crowd during S77 where we fill up Araneta for 24k and 25k. 

One thing I mentioned to my friends that's okay that we didn't went to the Finals because it will be hard to push a back-to-back most especially when DLSU have all the hype. Yes, Ateneo was the only team that beat them during eliminations but doesn't mean they can also beat them once again most especially in the Finals. I also believe that Prince Orizu is a perfect match to Ben Mbala he just need to be careful with fouls. Not everyone will agree but FEU vs DLSU during eliminations are one of the best games this season. 

This season went fast and definitely one of the most intriguing because of the things that was changed, late schedule release and the uninteresting arrangement of games. that's just small issues that we personally took as a big one but this season was so good and it was also full of surprises. Surprises like the final result of the standings where UST falls at the bottom and how Adamson reached the 4th spot and was back on the F4 after 4/5 years later. On how and why Alfred Aroga was originally a center but mostly playing on a guard position. How was UE also ended up at the bottom when they didn't really lose the players they have last year. Most especially UP wasn't at the bottom anymore! 

S79 was full of surprises and I can't wait for next year since FEU will be the host. 

Congratulations again to DLSU for bagging the ROY, MVP and championship also to Jeron for finishing at the top. 

And the curse of MVP might be over.

UAAP S79 F4 Game 2 . FEU vs ADMU

One more win then we will advance to the Finals once again and we can defend our crown. 

Unfortunately, we fell short. No buzzer beater by Belo saved us, no twice-to-beat advantage, no go-to-guy, no specific player that will do a clutch, no more minutes to do a major come back, just a few seconds to try our luck to beat them even by one point, two if we are lucky enough. 

Last Saturday we won by one point after Thirdy throw that ball almost half court and it counts. Then they beat us by one point this time in overtime.

It hurts but not as much as it hurt during the 5-peat Era of Ateneo. 

A day later I can finally watch the last play and there are mistakes but we can't correct it for the next game and there are couple of reasons why it did happen like it was a wise move that Thirdy didn't push through the basket and just wait for the time to expire because if he didn't do that, we are probably the one in the Finals again; the defense of Ateneo on that last play was also good that they were able to run to the other side of the court, fast. 

One more thing after watching that last play, I now understand why people were disappointed on that play. I was disappointed too after watching it rather when we were there live. 

For the past years, we've been breaking hearts of ADMU and DLSU but this time, it's them who broke ours but it doesn't hurt so much because it's their time now. That's why I assume that with all the issues during Game 1 you all wanted that and now living the "dream match up". 

Overall, it was a very good F4 game match up between FEU and Ateneo since both game was just won by one point.
