Wrapping 2013 with a Fancy Ribbon

I'm thinking if I should do this but I guess at some point I should...

Looking back to this year, something still don't change, but some does.

January - the month I created capturedbyaeivrynrv but I rename it to byaeivrynrv | We went to Enchanted Kingdom and it was my first time to ride a f*cking roller coaster!!!!

February - one of the best month? Because I saw Paramore for the 2nd time and I was super close to the stage! I miss them. | And I also went back to my secondary school and saw a bunch of familiar faces. I always miss high school.

March - Exactly a month after the Paramore show, I saw them live again via livestream of SXSW and it was also the first time that I saw Tegan and Sara and Twenty One Pilots played and I fell in love with them. | I also spent time with some good friends.

April - I got my green docs! and my hair was blue-violet. :D | 'Paramore' was released and once again saved my life.  

May - the month that I started my 'FYI, I'm a Girl' series and started to hoard make-ups. Yes, I'm a girl. haha

June - when I started to collect NYX products and my Real Techniques Collection (Yes this is important) lol. And it was like Christmas morning in June :D

July - when I felt so buried 6ft under the stars. | We were united via UAAP Men's Basketball! :)))

August -  my dad's 2nd death anniversary. | I went back to FEU with my cousin who took up entrance exam. | There were road trips | I changed my hair style.  

September - I started my 'On Repeat' series. | I did some re-touch on my hair.  

October - My favorite TV shows came back!!! | I discovered Californila. | One year mark of my 'Hair Dye-ary' series and I dyed my hair yellow.

November - I started this month with family. | I learned one important thing that I was supposed to learn 2 years ago. | Some of our favorite players were drafted in the PBA. | I saw Tegan and Sara live!!!!  

December - We watched PBA again and celebrated Marielle's late birthday celebration. | the GIANTS reunited | brought my 600D some company | I'm was sick on my birthday! | my cousin was here | Some bad memories was filtered with a good one.  

When a new year just started, December is seems so far away as well as the mid-year but as I look back to 2013, everything seems like a blur. Here we are facing another year, even we had different f*cked up moment this past year but we still have hope to a new chapter of our lives, having that hope that this next year will be a better one than the past. Some people might lost someone they love while some gained new friends along the way.

I'm always aware of the run of a month, December just passed by I can't believe its already the 31st of December and in a few hours its another year. I'm always fascinated by how I woke up in another year then will sleep unto a new one.

I'm looking forward to 2014 and will definitely make some changes since I  can. So many things to look forward to and as I'm terrified at some point, I'm also stoked!

Thank you 2013! You taught me a lot of things.

There will be changes. I'm claiming it.

Birthday

Let me get this straight. I get too emotional when people remember my birthday. I always try my best to say thank you with a smile but deep inside, my heart is having happy tears.

I'm not a popular person for everyone to remember so I really really appreciate and I feel special somehow when people out of nowhere will greet me 'Happy Birthday' (yes even though you're my "friend" way back to my teenage days, I still appreciate you). My birthdate is not visible on facebook because I think its stupid that people just greet you because there's a reminder on their news feed then your friend list will all greet you 'Happy Birthday'. Duh, my ex-"best friend" doesn't even greet me on my birthday. Haha

I'm happy really but I'm just missing my dad so bad. I don't know how long I'm holding this tears but I just need to let it out now. I remember there was this day when he lay beside me and greeted me when I woke up.

Every year was surely a roller coaster ride but this one was different. There were days that I feel buried defeated by certain people and I don't know where to hold on so that I can keep my head up high so I will not sink in. I do know how to forgive people but I can't accept their bullshits just for them to ruin someone and for them to be good to the people around. My 2nd tattoo is not that perfect but it saved me from the days I feel buried.

Sometimes, I even doubted people around me. I don't know if I should continue to trust them or not. I posted a lot of rant this year and I feel relieved in some ways.    

I can say I changed over the years and people might not see that but at least I know and I'm aware. I don't care if you are not open to changes. IDGAF

Enough. 

My birthday feels like new year since I gained another year of existence with a lot of emotions and stuff and 23 was mostly fucked up but as every birthday, I always look up to the brighter side of things and hope that things will be more good for the coming year.

I want to thank people who are still believing and trusting me with certain things and stuff.

Thank you to the people who will never forget to greet me even without that birthday reminder on their news feed on facebook.

UAAP S76 MVP: Terrence Romeo

After the last game of FEU rumors are starting to spread like nutella that the UAAP S76 MVP is from FEU. I don't want to believe at first since there are no official announcement yet but I'm quietly praying it is true.

My friends know this and if you read my UAAP blog post since Tumblr days for sure you know that I'm one of his gazillion fans. When he grab 'Rookie of the Year', I was busy with school stuff so there's no spare time to watch basketball on tv or live and somehow, internet is not so important yet. But there was this one day that we watched live and it was versus La Salle and I think they won. Here's a link to my blog about that.

The three photos are from 2009, when Aiza was taking Physics, their professor require them to watch UAAP live and I would join them. happy times :)

Until last Season 74, Gem and I started to watch live as in most of the games we're there and ever since S74 I never missed the FEU vs ADMU game even though mostly FEU was defeated not until their match on the first round this season. ;) sadly, S74 was the last year of Ping.

If you witnessed the previous years of Terrence, you know that he really improved this year let's give credit to his experience on D-League and on the things he learned from different coaches (not just on UAAP but also on D-League). 

I'm so proud of him with all the improvement he did, changed the things/attitude that he need to change inside and outside the court, involving his team mates (and probably one of the best story of this season was the TR-RR tandem) and who will forget the most famous MRT (Mike, Ryan, Terrence), listening to coaches carefully and he will follow whatever the instruction to him,handling some situation inside the court (good thing he just got a warning regarding on unsportsmanlike foul or else, he will not get this MVP and Parks will get it again for the 3rd time because Mammie got suspended. I'm not against Parks but I'm just explaining the other situation that might happen), dealing with bashers and to the people who wait for him every after game (hehe),  and yes Terrence Romeo can pass the ball and he just scored 311 freaking points on 14 games with consistency of 20 or plus points on the first 7 games and 30 or plus points for 3 games.

Since I'm super proud of him, I got teary eyed when I read that it is official, Terrence Bill Romeo is the UAAP S76 MVP. I'm so happy for him and with him getting the highest individual award hopefully, the FEU Tamaraws will grab the championship this year.

Can't believe that the UAAP basketball season is almost over ... I'm going to miss this again but I keep reminding myself that we can watch the not-so-nervous-games on PBA D-League.

UAAP S76 . 1st Round : FEU vs ADMU

Hello UAAP!!!! I miss you so much! Say hello to my 1st game live of Season 76 :). Well, we're supposed to watch the opening but unfortunately, that week was one of the busy week of my work life and the FEU-ADMU game was on a perfect schedule to be a day off after a busy week and before 2 more days of my work life. Anton Roxas said on the first game of FEU vs UE was "its not how you started, its how you finish" yes, its just the 1st round but since I watched completely FEU-ADMU game ever since Season 74 it feels so good to get the W this time. Yes, Kiefer Ravena wasn't able to play but a win is a win and hello to Ryan Buenafe that I think he was supposed to play his last year last season .... Ni nu ni nu.... Good for Ateneo that Buenafe and the other players was having their "bad game". What if Buenafe is not having trouble playing? And where is Kris Porter?

Anyways, it really feels good to win against Ateneo. Watching FEU-ADMU game since S74 and after yearsssss it was last Wednesday when we won. It doesn't matter if its just the 1st round but winning against Ateneo, it feels so good. What to expect they won 5 championship straight and knowing their standings for the last 5 season they're always at the top.

And in my opinion, FEU-ADMU game is like a mini ADMU-DLSU game because fans do wait for it mostly because they always appear on the Final 4 then they'll face each other on the Finals.

Dear La Salle, there's a chance! Hahaha

I watched the game with my basketball dude aka Marielle and good thing I didn't forgot Keith aka the birthday boy that day. Thank you Keith for the brunch :). And it was good to see some good friends and its annoying that we saw some histrionic people. HA HA HA.

That's it! I'm happy that I was able to spend almost the whole day with friends and of course the feeling that we won. It was a little escape but let's face reality and plan the next game date and I feel fortunate that FEU's game are fitting just right with our schedules. See you guys again soon :)

I can't believe that we didn't need to wait for more than 5 years to see these guys again. The last time that they've been here was March 9, 2010 (here's my not so detailed blog post about it).

I'm so thankful for these people because of them I met some amazing people around the world like Hannah from Australia (who I met on twitter but now I don't have a contact with her but she sent me a Christmas card long time ago), Cate from Portugal but I think she's in UK now (its silly but I got her Blackberry pin on twitter then we started talking on BBM then on twitter and on Facebook. Even though we don't talk that much anymore I still treasure her so much), Mair (we don't talk that much but we are getting there). They are just a few people I met online but of course I also met some Paramore fans from here (Philippines) namely Pia, Nikki, Kai. (its not that many but I love these people so much and I'm glad that I met them already except for Nikki but Pia and I watched Avril together last year and Paramore this year and yes after meeting Kai online last 2009 or 2010 I already met her in person last February 15 and her cousin and friends and also Pia's friends).

I rant about this again and again maybe I'll stop after this post, HAHAHA. I really want to meet Hayley, Taylor and Jeremy and as you know you can have a meet and greet if you won on a contest by the producers or music label or through the fan club and on Paramore there's PFC (Paramore Fan Club). I decided earlier last year that I will join but unfortunately its closed for new members for almost a year now and that's the reason why I wasn't able to meet them. I will join PFC as soon as they opened it and anyway Paramore will not come back soon because they have scheduled tour dates and let all the ParaFamily saw them this year, its been a while.

Another rant, MOA Arena will never fail to disappoint me for some reason. HAHAHA.
I don't know if it was Ovation or whatever but just like the first concert where the VIP was placed behind the Gold area but this time, the VIP with reserved seats was not separated with the VIP Standing.

I was early at MOA because it was Friday and it was payday so I decided to be there at lunch time to stalk a little and to spend some time at MOA because I don't know when was the last time I've been there and also to avoid traffic.

The same thing that happen with this and the first show in Manila last 2010 was I WAS ON THE SIDE OF JEREMY AGAIN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING BUT I REALLY WISHED IT WAS TAYLOR THAT WAS ON OUR SIDE :((((

I'm really not complaining but I wished it was Taylor's side ... oh well, I also love Jeremy and gosh Kat is so lucky to have a hairy-handsome-husband. Next time, I will be on the middle where it was the best place to be in, in front of Hayley.

I didn't go to a Paramore show to be a photographer, I went there to experienced Rock and Roll so I don't care if my photos are not that good but I have some decent one and I'm satisfied with that. If there will be a 3 or 2 days Paramore show here in Manila maybe I'll spend the first day partying then the second day videoing the whole concert OR I WILL HIRE SOMEONE TO VIDEO THE WHOLE CONCERT NEXT TIME. HAHAHAHA and I'll make sure he/she is not a fan.

Paramore helped me in a lot of ways most especially coping with my past life to make me move on, make me realize that I was never alone in this, that there are people experiencing the same or worst than my situation. When I'm on a bad mood, their music makes me calm. I know or maybe I'll just tell you that:
My day will never be complete without a Paramore song. and I guess it will never get old.

A Paramore show will always be awesome. Although Manila didn't experience the presence of Josh Farro, we appreciate that they are willing to go back after 2 1/2 years and hopefully soon again once the 4th album was released because it was always different on live shows.

For now, we are all patiently waiting for "Paramore" the 4th album of Paramore and as we are across the world from where they are, we are being satisfied with the new interviews that are posted online, new photos from Soundwave, random post of Hayley on LiveJournal, Instagram, Tumblr and on Twitter. 

Last Saturday, it was the 3rd anniversary of Paramore's first show here in Manila the "ParaThrilla in Manila" and this year was a little bit different since the band was just here last month not 3 years ago. 

I don't have a decent photos from the first ParaThrilla in Manila but I'm happy I got some this time and since it was too many, you can check my photos here .   

Lastly, I would like to thank Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor for continuing this journey and I'll be here with you on this new journey. thank you and we love you guys so much can't wait for the new album. see you soon <3

I went back to my high school grounds last February 7 and 8 for a pageant, where my cousin joined and won 2nd runner up the photos are on her Facebook page .

I will not spam photos from the album but I got photos that I never uploaded on my facebook or anywhere else. I just want it to be here on my blog. selfish much? yes. lol

A little introduction, I don't know who will be the judges but I know that it will be some celebrity and since I do avoid being addict on a certain local TV show lately I don't do fan girling over local celebrities. I'll be more starstruck if I saw these bloggers in person. Rich Asuncion appeared and I didn't do anything I just stared at her for a second then I don't care anymore if we are on the same ground. BUT when the emcee called the HOSTS, I STARTED FAN GIRLING AS IN WHO CAN STOP YOU WHEN DIVINE LEE AND VICTOR BASA WAS ON STAGE???? SERIOUSLY.

I suddenly remembered my good friend Rachel who introduced me to read Divine's blog and ever since I followed her on Tumblr . I think that was 2010. If I knew Divine and Victor will be there I should invited Rachel because I know that she love them dearly.

Meet my adviser when I was in 4th year high school. She's one of the best teacher and she love me because I'm behave in her class. HAHA She even told me (in front of my mom) that she didn't recognize me (almost). *blush*.

Maybe I really left high school in the past but it was one of the best experience of my life. There was good and bad experience but that's what that stage is all about. Believe me, if there will be a time machine, I will choose to go back to high school. I will not change everything about my high school life I just want to make some more memories because some people are not the same after we left high school and that makes me sad.

Hi readers (if I have some),

Who said that we will not passed December 21, 2012? Look at this post date people its January 1, 2013! Happy New Year guys!

I don't know how will I do some year end post or something like a recap from January to this day (or its just the same? Lol) going back on the past 365 days is hard there are some highlights but of course we treasured every single day (at least I do) and 2012 is so yesterday when it comes to 2013 so this is not a recap post.

Most people have lots of new year's resolution but I refuse to promise or to say somethings that usually don't happen for the whole year but at least every single day I try to change simple/little things on my everyday routine, I try something new or at least not to mind the bad vibes on some days. What do I'm trying to say is we can change every little detail on our everyday lives its not necessary to change something just because its a new year, change it because you know its bad, you know it will never do good to you or on people around you but never change the good most especially if its for bad, as one of my favorite TV show says: Rule no. 5 Never waste the good and the other one was a qoute from the same TV show: You have to focus on the good.

There are so many unexpected and expected things that happened to each of us every single day every year so that's 365 days, sometimes we can't remember what happen on the 217th day but we know what exactly happened on a special day just like your birthday, your wedding day, the day you gave birth, the day you got a dog or the day you bought something special, some days are good and unforgettable but there will always be the bad ones, there are days that we feel fucked up or wasted but there are days that we feel its the best day ever since we were born. Every single day is different, its unique on its own and we need to appreciate those good and bad days because those days helped us to be who we are right now.

We don't need to be advanced and think about next month or the summer. Most days we need to focus on what's happening right now but of course you can plan a summer getaway with friends but don't go beyond it, be on earth most of the time don't take every thing for granted, don't fast forward on something because when it passed you can't have a rewind button on this life. Most of us wished that but as we all know we can just move forward but please never push the fast forward button, you don't want to regret something on the near future.

2012 taught us some life lessons, as I recall all of the things happen, it just gave me headache lol but I wish I got it on taped or at least record all of the days on my head so I can look back on some fucked up days of my life or be on the day when I didn't think of the consequences that I might meet next time, the days that you wish not to meet its ending but as I said we must move on but be sure to treasure those moments because it will never be the same next time.

Let's welcome 2013 with open arms, let's change the bad to good one, make yourself happy, eject those negativity/bad vibes around you, stay positive and let's have more patience in our system, appreciate everything, be nice to other people, never take anyone for granted, don't run a truck on someone's life, be contented, don't compare, most especially appreciated every single moment. Those are the usual things that I keep reminding myself for the last months/year. You don't need a new years resolution because its new year, a rule in your own life can help you to change something little by little, changing is a process. You can start a simple/crazy rule like "Rule No. 1: No soft drinks and junk foods on weekdays" and maybe you'll end up cheating on some weekdays but you can change it and just enjoy a junk foods every weekend. I'm not saying do a stupid rule book and control your life but it will be a big help if you want to change something and you will never need to wait for another new year, a year does have 365 days its not just a single day.
