March 18, 2025 - I remembered about the pre-sale, checked the website and I’m in line for 1,240,575 at 10:45AM. Messaged my sister and she totally forgot and she’s the one who really want to watch it. At almost 1PM most slots allotted for the pre-sale are sold out and my sister is losing hope and I told her that pre-sale have limited available since it’s pre-sale and general selling will be on March 21st. We let go of the idea but I’m planning to book on Live Nation pre-sale by  March 20. 

March 19, 2025 - Klook pre-sale a bundle with hotel accommodation for a night. I don’t think it’s worth it as well as since we are just aiming the cheapest ticket and with hotel accommodation in a 4 star hotel and a CAT8 ticket, I think that expensive might as well spend some more on ticket then book a room. She send me a screenshot that she’s in line at 4,707 at 10AM. I thought she will let this go but no. Haha she finished booking at 10:09AM. I’m going to book plane tickets today as well. Well, we are going to Singapore in May. 

May 21, 2025 - continuation of Singapore day 2 

We arrived at the stadium and my sister met her high school classmate where she asked to buy her a merch so we don’t have to line up. After getting the merch we roam a little on the area and then we decided to get inside already when there was still less people. 

Our ticket was CAT 8 and since the only reference I can compare that to is The Eras Tour, I can’t believe that I’m in this historical place. Sorry but not really that I was comparing it to The Eras Tour somehow end up asking myself why I didn’t push that through did I really missed that or not really? 

The Eras Tour is a little more expensive compared to this one. 

Prior to the concert Lady Gaga did Copacabana and they rely on it that it will be the same setlist for Singapore. There was a playlist already on Spotify on what she did at Copacabana and since they speculate that it will be the same for Singapore, I put that playlist on when I got back from Bicol and listened to it even before leaving the house for the flight.

Still regret not seeing her when she first came here in the Philippines but maybe I was busy back then or I just can’t really make it on the date or I can’t afford it. I’m happy to see her now and in Singapore. 

Since I got idea already on the setlist since it is what was played on the first 2 nights and I haven’t seen the Copacabana I just depend on the playlist. 

It was so cute that people are dressing up for this because back home I will not care to dress up if I’m watching concert. 

Concert was fine but once again we are seated with people who are seated most times and when the one in front of me stand up on the first song, I stand up as well for the whole show. Thankful that no one asked me to sit again. My sister is so hesitant to watch concert alone since she is not used to it but since I do it all the time, I don’t care on other people even sometimes I want to do small talk but I’m not that person. Maybe exception if you look nice and not that intimidating. I just mostly care on the concert, what I should film or not and later after the show go out immediately so that I can exit while people are still inside. 

I’m typing this weeks later and I haven’t seen the Copacabana that I might play tonight for the feels. That time of the concert felt so quick a song after song until it was the last song when everyone on our area finally stood up. 

Almost at the half of the show, I thought my battery was low apparently, it was my phone memory. Thankful that I have an extra phone for the next half of the show. Haha 

I enjoyed it really. Sadly I just don't like the stage set up or the idea of her being always inside the stage and not really exposed to the crowd. I know it’s for the video or whatever but I think Lady Gaga can do better stage set up than what she had in Singapore. Read that some people pay much more and mostly they can only see the screen. Hopefully the Mayhem tour will have a different set up than the one we had in Singapore because you pay and you deserve to see the artist more than the huge screen most especially if you are in front. 

Somehow thankful that my favorites are not really the type of artist that is as huge as Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga because I mostly enjoyed concert that is not at a stadium. I enjoyed small spaces concert that it makes you connect more to the artist. That is one reason why I haven’t watched anything at Philippine Arena. Billie Eilish is one artist that I love to see again but her tickets are getting expensive too. 

Anyway, we got tips on TikTok on alternative than going in the station that was right outside the stadium because it was for sure jam packed and it was and the traffic is also insane that it is impossible to book a ride. 

Probably took us 1 hour after concert to finally get back to our hotel. We ordered food via Grab and took a hot shower and sleep. 

It was a memorable night and maybe see again Lady Gaga on the Mayhem tour in Asia next year? Haha we’ll see.

M2M . The Better Endings Tour 2025

Should we all be thankful that Marion got a flat tire some time last year that it lead to the whole thing. 

I never ever thought that I will be able to see M2M live ever. I was probably listening to them when I was maybe 12 years old and really no one ever thought that the reunion will ever happening. 

I was really looking forward to this that I waited for the ticket sale but then after just minutes, it’s sold out. Thankful that there was Day 2 because I was in panic mode when I couldn’t have Day 1 tickets. Eventually they still release some Upper Box and Gen Ad until the day of the concert. 

Healing our inner child to see M2M live. Seriously. 

They became active on socials and we honestly love all the updates until a week before tour starts, a tease of the setlist was seen on a short video that was posted. Someone also made a playlist on Spotify and later M2M officially posted a playlist that consist of the setlist. 

For a band that hasn’t been play for so long I’m pretty sure that they will stick on the setlist since it’s probably hard for them to change it. Maybe add one or two song but major change on the setlist will probably not gonna happen. 

There was a post about people singing along on the early tour and someone commented “wait until you play in Manila”. Oh boy, hopefully we didn’t disappoint them. 

Played the playlist for a week or two prior to concert day and I somehow wonder how will be the transition since there’s a solo for each of them. I watched a snippet of Day 1 and that’s it I just can’t wait for concert day also thankful that’s in Araneta. 

I left home early and was able to roam around the mall and I was also anxious because the next day will be the Final Four game of UAAP. Too much people in Araneta that I don’t know where to eat but I finally saw Salad Stop and I ate there. I asked the ticket booth if there’s available ticket for the game the next day. Only Upper Box was available and with my panic self, Upper box is okay than nothing. Bought tickets despite of my gut telling me that there will be still lower box tickets. 

The concert was fine since there was already clips from the day before and the early shows before that. 

Sad truth is that on every concert majority of audience really is there because of the bands hit songs. I can’t blame anyone or concert goers but spending much for just that? Oh well we have our reason and all. Next time you can be ready by searching the tours setlist. Its fun to be prepared (just my opinion).  

I enjoyed it despite of being seated the whole time. I’m really not used to seated concert but that will do but I want to dance on some songs too. 

So worth it to be able to see them and knowing that they also enjoyed doing this tour.

They were so happy and you really can see it. 

Not sure if there will be another album or even another tour from them but really thankful for that flat tire. Lol

Livestream . YOU ME AT SIX: The Final Night of Six

 

Somehow this will eventually happen to all the bands we all love, retirement or disbanding whatever they want to call it. 

For You Me At Six, it’s been 20 years and they just had their last show last April 4th at Wembley Arena. 

I got an email one night about a discount code if you buy a ticket for the livestream and I wasn’t aware that there will be a livestream. I convert on how much it was and I didn’t hesitate anymore, it was almost PHP 900 which you can watch a documentary before the show and the actual live show from London. 

I’m not sure how I got to listen to this band and when but I’m sure I saw them on Tumblr in 2008 or 2009. That’s when I started to listen to them. 

The farewell tour is so bittersweet since Australia is on the tour dates but not anything in South East Asia. Knowing that the show they had in here in Manila last 2023 was not successful, I knew that no chance of them visiting for the farewll tour. I’m just so thankful that in 2023 I got to meet these guys, had a conversation with JOSH even it was so short but it was something I will never imagine back in the early years of listening to them. Just so thankful that even the venue wasn’t full the band perform as if it was a sold out show. 

Watching the live show via stream reminded me why I loved this band so much because I’m so sure that they helped me in so many ways. 

I don't have any expectation with the last show, never searched for setlist or read anything I just see some updates here and there of the on going tour. 

As someone who didn’t expect anything, I didn’t know that freaking FIREWORKS will be played and JOSH will teared up. Huhu I didn’t expect that I will be crying at almost 6AM because of TAKE ON THE WORLD. 

After that I just want RECKLESS to be played and I’m good ,they did and then UNDERDOG for the last song. 

It was fun and also an emotional one, I wish I was there to experience that too.  

Upon purchasing ticket I didn’t know about what time it will be Manila but damn it was 2AM - 6AM good thing it was Saturday. 

I hope they will release it officially the whole thing for the world to see with better sound quality and maybe some after show happenings.

THE MAINE . The Sweet Sixteen Tour (Day 2)

I checked out at 12 noon and good thing I checked that I can leave my bags at the hotel and pick it up after the show and before going home. Thankful that they offer that and if not then I’ll hate some part of my life again. Lol #mantra. It was also a good decision that I check in because that first night was so tiring and now, I'm actually considering doing that if ever I will be watching concerts.

On the second day of tour was about Can’t Stop, Won't Stop and an after party.

Playing the whole album of Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop will be finished under 1 hour and thankfully that there are still some other song played. Also there are people who only attended either Day 1 or Day 2.

I just realized while they are putting some recap of the dates of The Maine being in here the past year was that the reason I wasn’t able to attend because of the dates, it was conflict on my schedule but I'm glad this one works now and I honestly make it happened despite of it all and I got no regrets

Didn't see Mariae the day before because I knew that she will be in front but due her not feeling well they decided to be seated at the back and thankful that Skydome is just like a mini theater. Since we talked this morning I was able to see her after the show and while waiting for the after party, I saw Micaella again too. 

Omg the “toxic-fan-girling-group” witnessing it is insane and man that was somehow unfair really. I can accept adding people on queue maybe as long as they are ony 2 but almost 5, that’s foul. They should’ve give queue number for the people who really lined up. So when we enetered the venue I made sure not to be surrounded with them but also with them added on the people in front, they still somehow consumed the space that was supposed to be for the people who lined up. 

Since I joined the crowd during the concert I don't have much energy anymore for the after party so I stayed at back with Micaella to have some room to breathe.

I’m surpirised that people brought stuff even they said that there will be no signing since there’s no meet and greet because we got the after party. I wonder what after party was like but they just play as dj’s for the whole time and it was fun but it was so short didn’t even reach an hour.

Almost at the end of it, I saw Mariae with a freshly written 8123 on her arm by Pat. I’ve been thinking of a “The Maine” tattoo for a while now and I like to believe that it was my sign too. I took a photo of it and will be use as guide, Mariae end up getting it as a tattoo as well. 

So glad to see friends too! 

2 best night of 2024.

THE MAINE . The Sweet Sixteen Tour (Day 1)

I'm typing this a month late already that I somehow still remember it or I totally forgot so whatever will be written. Lol 

The moment that The Maine Sweet Sixteen Tour in Manila was announced, I knew that I shouldn't missed it for my life. The 2022 show changed me and since then I knew that I will never missed a The Maine concert again also Skydome is a game changer. 

I only dream of those concert like in the US where it will be on a small venue then everyone will hangout after and because of small venue the experience is different compare on being in a bigger venue. Also, 2 days with The Maine? Even it somehow a little bit conflict on schedule, I will make it work. Never in my concert life that I experince a back-to-back concert.

Scored the ticket on the pre-sale date with the code that was shared by a friend. 

I’m not really a north person but I’m a little familiar with the area as long as EDSA is visible. Lol 

I booked a room at Hop Inn just a few steps away from the LRT Station for a cheap price and if only not because of my busy schedule that time I’m so willing to stay the whole weekend. 

I arrived at the hotel 3PM and rested for a bit thankful that somehow local TV channel have a basketball all day long so even without Netflix or Youtube on the TV I’m good with basketball. So weird to be staying at a hotel by myself but I needed that me-time moment.  

Left the hotel at almost 5PM just to have an early dinner before lining up. I still wanted to be on barricade but there are just really people or groups that are willing to line up early morning and I can't do that. Lol 

Doors opened at 6PM and show will start at 8PM. Waiting time is not fun but I got lots of patience anyway. I also have a goal of searching friends even I’m really not sure if I will see them but I'm confident that I will. Lol 

I was on my way to Skydome and I already spotted Micaella and I was too shy to approach her since she got company but I approached her after the show. So good to see her after a year since You Me at Six show. 

Even I do go on these show alone, I still end up having fun anyways. 

My only worry really are tall guys but good thing somehow they are at my side but the huge problem was there are really people who are committed to record the whole show. John is really pissed with people end up just having their phones up for the whole thing. I have tons of video too but not the whole thing. 

The show was so good that I end up jumping and joining that crowd for most of it.

If you ever attended any show of The Maine, for sure it will always be one of the best shows. 

SAME GROUND: KITCHIE NADAL'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Almost the end of June and I haven’t written about this day. 

I’m not sure if it was announced prior to the ticket selling but I knew about it on the same day. I honestly didn’t thought of it much I just knew I had to see her again after so long. I used to see Kitchie Nadal way back in 2005 and 2006 when she used to perform at SM Megamall cinema it was how “small show” happened in here before, I think. 

Weeks early, I searched for her Spotify to play her music and I was surprised that she have other albums! Haha I was so disappointed to myself not knowing about it but I’m here to catch up I even put schedule on listening music because it was so hard to get away from Billie’s new album and Clancy. I listen now to OPM at night only and in the morning or while I’m out it’s my usual. 

So weird to be out on Sunday but we are out for Kitchie! I left home by 2PM so that I will not be in a rush or something I don’t want to be caught up on rain and we’re will luckily it didn’t. Planned where to eat and where to go already and since I’m so anxious because it was Sunday and I knew people are usually out by Sunday good thing the restaurant I planned to stay in is not as full and I was able to stay for almost 2 hours. 

I was roaming at Gateway and saw that the lines outside are still long but eventually I decided to lined up already because we don’t have any other thing to do anyway. 

Show was supposed to start by 7PM but people are still lining up to enter so it started about 7:30PM and lasted until 10PM. I enjoyed it so much and would you ever believe that at random distribution of ticket of ticketnet, I got front row seat! I’d like to think that I’m one of the few who purchased as soon as I saw it and I will never forget the time I purchased that ticket. I was in line at the bank and silently freaking out. 

I don’t have much expectation about this show I just want to enjoy and once again see Kitchie perform but days prior to the show, the hype is so real on Kitchie’s Facebook Page teasing of the practice with her co-musician that makes me a little excited since I knew that Barbie will be there as well as Lougee!!! 

No expectations and I just I enjoyed it so much though I’m not sure I enjoyed it in a formal way of sitting but it is much better because once Kitchie approach the crowd they went wild. Omg. 

They mentioned that this was her first solo concert and I think that’s why I took so many videos and pictures since I haven’t been to a local artist solo concert (if my memory serves me right). 

Also I was able to meet her just for picture and free signed poster. Yay! 

You want to know who stole Kitchie’s limelight to me that night? When freaking Nina Sandejas walked in front of me to take photos of Kitchie and I’m seated front row!!! Damn admiring 2 artists in a night. 

There are few other more guests too including Kate Torralba, Monty of Mayonnaise, Zild Benitez and Kitchie’s mom who played the piano and I got stunned that I didn’t take a photo or a video of that. 

It was a successful one and hopefully it will not be her last. 

Upon meet and greet aka photo op, I was the first to walked up to her and I don’t have much word I just mentioned to her that I used to watched her on SM Megamall cinema back then and she was puzzled. Haha I was on the first batch to take photo with and it was a quick meet and greet since there bunch of people and it was already 11PM. I knew that small talks are going to happen after the first few batch. 

I super enjoyed it maybe since I didn’t expect anything from that night. Though I discovered some sad songs that she didn’t played that night that I wished she did. 

To more live OPM artists but do I listen to them regularly? Lol
