First ball game without the bro. Huhu

We miss you Kitpol! 

12 hours different for him and 7 hours advance for Lhea. 

I still keep them updated. 

So, I was late due to some road repairs along the way Gem was so lucky to score some good seats when he bought at Araneta. I almost regret not getting the tickets online but thankful we somehow saved 100 for that online fee. 

I think I arrived during the 3rd Q of the 11am game. 

So good to watch almost 4 games in a day but 3 is enough. Lol 

We lost again that day and we could’ve won that but we fell short and just after the game that Lj Gonzales didn’t play. I know that the rest of our games are very hard to win and the 11 days break can be a good or bad one. 

Oh yes, after posting that 0-5 standing we win 4 games straight and lost this one. 

It’s just so good to watch a basketball game and not to think about the outside shit.

We got a picture with Coach Nash!!!!!! YAY! #cloud9

When we saw Coach Nash without Gem last time in MOA, I didn’t promise her but I said we will try to have an updated picture with Coach. Knowing that there will be 4 games that day, I was hopeful to finally meet Coach again and we did!!!

Since we don’t have Manong Jun aka Kitpol, we just hang around Araneta. Ate at Seafood Island and stayed at Starbucks. Just slightly updating each other about life. 

After that we decided to walk around before heading home. 

Definitely felt the absence of Kit but nothing compares to spending a day with my dude. 

Brobabes 2022 . Mini Roadtrip

October 22 2022 

Our game was scheduled Oct 23 but since everyone is not free for such day, we just decided to just meet and eat out on another Saturday. 

Main reason why we did push to hangout for 3 Saturday is that Kit will be leaving finally and hopefully for real this time. By the time that I’m typing this, he was already in the US for a week now. Another reason why I’m just typing it just now and trying to remember all the places we’ve been that day.

Gem and I met at Megamall since Kit was on schedule for a post op on his lasik at American Eye at Podium. We surprised him that we are already outside of AEC by the time he was finished. 

I also want to check the place in Podium since I will also be having my 2 year check up by December.

Kit is very vocal on shirt since somehow we were able to give him a couple for the past years. We wanted to give him another one before he leave but there are no good design another request by him is car sticker. We were able to score the stickers but instead of a shirt we decide to get him a hoodie. We ordered the hoodie late so we really want to push this Saturday to meet up even without a game just to surprise him with the hoodie. 

After Podium, Kit request to eat at Causeway we drove to Timog and we are already starving by then. Such a good food and I haven’t eaten there for so long. He said that he will also get something at Greenhills so that was our next stop. He was somehow doing last minute errands so we just came along. Next is Feliz for some other errands then we just stayed at Starbucks and finally fix his Apple Watch after a day of updating the OS.

Last 2 Saturday, he keep on mentioning his Apple Watch that he got as a gift and we keep on telling him to bring it. Good thing I was able to text him that morning to bring it. We were surprised that it was still unopened and he got that in April. Yes, that’s one of the agenda of today’s meet up. 

It doesn’t feel that he was leaving in a few days it just like a normal Saturday with Brobabes. 

Somewhat still in denial but I know we will feel it sooner.

People come and go, I’m still not used to that but with how crazy this country is, I pushed everyone who can leave to go. I may or may not be able to leave this country for good but I’m happy for them who can. I didn’t understand it before but after the election this year, I get it now and somewhat wish I can leave just like them and just like that. For now, I pushed my friends away jokingly that they should just adopt me years later. I’ll miss them dearly but thankful for the power of the internet. 

Brobabes 2022 . Back in Araneta

October 8, 2022 

As soon as the UAAP schedule was released, sent it to our group chat and planned the dates that we can watch. Mostly we can just watch the weekend game dates since everyone is busy and I can’t just travel to MOA every weekend just for a game. MOA is too far for me, petition for the second round to be back in Araneta! Lol  

I enjoyed going to MOA once in a while but commuting, you should have a different energy just for such. 

I don’t know why but when I saw that October 8 FEU vs UP will be in Araneta, I knew we should watch live. We haven’t been to Araneta for so long since the last season was mostly held in MOA and seriously, it’s been years. We also started this friendship in Araneta so, what a way to have reminisced the good old days. It’s our 11th year watching UAAP together as well but I can’t tell that it has been 11 seasons already because of the pandemic. 

So nostalgic to be back in Araneta for a UAAP game. I passed by from here and there and it still bring some more good vibes than MOA. MOA Arena have good lighting and good view but the Araneta holds so much memories and it is easy access to students as well since it is just a train away from U-Belt and Katipunan. 

Gem and I met at Gateway food court for lunch before we head inside the Coliseum to watch the 1st game. Kit as usual is late but this time he got good reasons. So happy that he was able to do lasik even though that he wasn’t a fan when I did it 2 years ago. It was his 1 week post op check up that day so he got to do that first before heading to Araneta. 

There’s too much renovation in Cubao, red gate wasn’t even open for entrance and exit. 

FEU didn’t win but this time it wasn’t about winning anymore it is just to have a good time and somehow forget the outside world for a few hours. Basketball somehow healed me in the past and because of our culture, it is already a part of us. 

We also had good audience for this game even some are required for their school attendance but it was a good crowd after so long Gem also misses the “wave”. 

UAAP was our “expensive season” in the past since every game will just be in Araneta, easy access of our commuting life and we used to watch all of the games of FEU no matter what. Good times. 

At least this time the game was over by 7pm and we can still have time to hang out longer unlike the past season that our game will start by 6pm. 

We had a hard time looking for a place to eat at Quezon City since it was a Saturday (one reason why I don’t go out on a weekend unless it is UAAP) lol. 

After dinner we look for a Starbucks to hangout and we end up the one in Marcos Hi-way near SM Masinag. 

I just missed hanging out with friends do some talking and fucking laugh out loud. Ahh normalcy. 

I also haven’t seen Kit for probably 6 months already while Gem in 4 months. The last time Gem and I were together was in Palawan and separate way at the airport when we got back in Manila. 

Hopefully more of that this month as long as we can watch the FEU games and as our schedules permits. Expensive season as it is since most of the games will be back at MOA Arena. 

Btw SM tickets, as per experience Araneta (Ticketnet / etix) do accept digital tickets now when you purchased it online and it will go straight to email even compatible with the Wallet app on iPhone. Paperless and convenient you should catch up so it can avoid people re-selling the tickets and even the scalpers (or not since they will really make a way to re-sell).

Manila . June 25, 2022

This might be one of the reunion/trip that is already overdue for so long. 

I haven’t seen some of my college friends for so long well; I haven’t seen Faith after we visited Olongapo for her wedding in 2017 and the Scammers was in 2019 when we went to Baguio and La Union. 

Rachel wasn’t ask for the Baguio/LU trip and she constantly bug as when we will see her again because she wasn’t invited on that last trip. Well we know she’s busy. Lol

Anyway, this was planned early June so it will be an early notification for some if they will be available on what date as well. We settled on June 25th and as classic as it can be most of them can’t join us. Rachel, Fae and I agreed on that date and there’s no backing out for the 3 of us. 

Few days later, Fae said that Faith will be in Manila for that day as well so she can be able to join us. Unfortunately for Rachel it became unsure since there’s a family emergency. 

Fae told me to meet them at FEU which is a good start for such reunion but at 10am, uhm I’m not sure that I can make it that early! Haha 

Due to some events happened I almost back out as well but I’m also the other person to agree first on the date so, I know that I can’t back out on this. I planned to be at FEU by 10am I know to myself that it is somehow impossible and I don’t know if I calculated right the time travel that I should allot so I can make it. 

I left at 8:30am and thankful that it didn’t rain that morning as well as the whole day. Surprised that I didn’t encounter traffic on a Saturday morning and I was able to try the new Marikina-Pasig LRT station. 

I was in FEU by 10:30am but as this is a day with some Scammers, as early as 10am, I thought we are talking about the specific Jollibee that’s located on Gate 4 but then they are on Jollibee Recto. I don’t have much expectation on this trip so I don’t like to be making a big deal out of that but still, communication! So nostalgic to be back on that side of Manila where we literally live for 5 years or so. Took some pictures since I think it is somehow safe as the pandemic changed that place so much. Most establishments are closed and there are less people, there are no students. I haven’t seen that place daily for the last 10 years but I know how it looks like for an early morning until late night. 

Since I started walking at Gate 4, I was able to experience walking at Recto again. Reminiscing is one of the goals this trip. 

Meeting them at Jollibee Recto and then took a while to decide where to go next, we decided to look for Fae’s hotel so she can drop her bag. From Recto we walked to LRT1 - Doroteo Jose and we took the train to Pedro Gil then walked to Adriatico Street since her hotel is there 

then we ate lunch at Robinsons Manila. 

Faith will still be back in Olongapo that day and probably will join us until afternoon but then she got a call that she needed early in Olongapo. We separated ways after lunch and then later we found out that her bus will leave by 6pm. I wish she was still able to join us even on one museum.

Manila photo walk or sightseeing is one of the planned trips with friends for years but never happened until last Saturday. 

I searched prior to that day and I was a little bit confused with the buildings of National Museum. I know at some point I’ve been to one before but I can’ remember much. Upon researching, National Museum for Fine Arts is closed for almost a month for preparation of the inauguration on June 30th. We still have option which are National Museum of Anthropology and Natural History. We started at 2pm with National Museum of Anthropology.

Original itinerary included Intramuros and Ocean Park but we started late and since Rachel wasn’t able to make it, we decided to stick to the museum so we can still have reason to go back. One museum took us 2 hours and I was looking for the recent one which apparently was the Natural History. I checked the time and it was already 4pm and they will close by 6pm. We quickly walked around the Anthropology so we can transfer to Natural History. Both museums took us 4 hours and we weren’t able to visit yet the Fine Arts. Now we know that we should really start early and if you want to visit 3 museums then you should start as soon as they open. 

We did too much walking and by the end of the Natural History, it is already tiring. We know that we can’t do Intramuros anymore and Ocean Park also closes at 6pm. If you are planning a Manila tour it is either start early morning or yet check-in to a hotel and do a 2 days trip. You can’t visit everything in a day. If you want less people, visit on a weekday just be sure that the places you will visit isn’t closed that day. 

After Natural History, we decided to go to MOA already since Fae will be meeting someone and I haven’t been to MOA for 2 months now. Good thing there was a UV from there to MOA. It was also a Saturday and there are events here and there for Pride month, it was so traffic going to MOA and I can feel my tiredness. lol 

Fae don’t want coffee so I told her that I wanted to try the 19 degrees at MOA Food Court and she agreed. 19 degrees is now one of my favorite a must try.

After eating we separate ways and I went around MOA very quick just to check some store and how it looks now since I’ve been there during UAAP but no chance of going around. 

I can’t find what I’m looking for and malls doesn’t have an appeal to me anymore for so long unless I’ll buy something.

Took a bus to PITX before 9pm and I don’t know this new bus route. Apparently, you have to change bus at PITX to the one that will go back north. It’s free anyways but I should have gone down to Ortigas since there are bus stops that will require you to walk KM. The walk from the stop in Cubao to SM took me almost 1KM and let’s be honest that the Philippine sidewalk are the worst with no light and not as friendly as it can be. 

I was home before 11pm.

Thankful that it didn’t rain and I was able to explore Manila with scammer friends.

UAAP S84 . Basketball then #PASAYisPINK

April 23 2022

Half of the games during 1st round of UAAP S84 Men’s Basketball didn’t have the 6th man for the reason that the players are in bubble. Until April 5th when they welcomed the 6th man into the scene and if you are not a fan you will never know how exited we are when it was announced. Schedule of the game for the 1st round was released in full maybe a week before the first game day. 

We did got April 9 which was a Saturday that’s why we are able to finally watched live again and that was the last game day for the 1st round. After the last game of April 9, 2nd round schedule was released as well and April 23 is the only date that we can watch once again since it’s a Saturday and that is the only game that we are scheduled for 7pm game. I’m loving that 7pm game time not until it is hard to look for a restaurant to eat after the game and the late night commute. 

Holy week weekend is already set for the Brobabes (April 16). 

April 9 - I haven’t seen my friends for so long and we haven’t had that “politics” talk on our chat that I wonder who are their rooting for except for Lhea who’s been very vocal on Twitter and I do RT’s political stuff too so if you see it, you already know. 

While we are catching up that afternoon, I was so hesitant to ask Gem who she’s supporting and I’m glad that we are in the same side that they are just silent because of work. 

It was a relief to be honest then we were able to talk about it during that late dinner with Kit and we encourage him to vote as well. 

So glad that I proved that we are all on the same side. 

April 15 - Someone posted that the rally of VP Leni will be in Macapagal on April 23rd and it is already final. 

I asked Gem if we will go straight to the rally after since we are already in the area. I was just worried that it will end up early since our game will be by 7pm and most likely to finish by 9pm. 

April 16 - Brobabes in Tagaytay and we were able to talk about it until we separate ways the next day. 

April 23 - Just like when I woke up that morning of April 9, that day just need to happen for me to tell this story. 

Left the house a little early but the way to MRT is way too long, traffic is so bad! 

When we arrived at MRT Shaw, there are already people who are wearing pink that they’re on their way already to Macapagal. 

I can’t explain to you what I felt that time. I didn’t attend on some rallies nearby for some reason and I just can’t believe that we will be able to finally attend one.

UAAP - Tickets now are divided to 2 games and since our game will be at 7pm, we can enter MOA Arena by 3pm after the morning games. 

Dap and I ate lunch and while we are roaming around MOA mostly people are wearing pink. Some parked at MOA so they will be really in the mall. 

There is a different feeling when you are surrounded by fellow kakampink. 

Gem and I already planned to wear pink during game since some are already doing it and the game before ours will be UP vs DLSU. 

When she arrived in MOA Arena, she’s almost teary eyed with what she witnessed on the way to MOA. Thankful for Joyride, she arrived on time as well. 

We entered MOA Arena, change our shirt to pink and good thing we didn’t wear it first since it was also so hot that day. We both commute so extra shirts are a must sometimes. 

We made it to the game during half time and we are surrounded with people who you will never know who they are supporting because mostly are wearing pink. You will just identify them when they started cheering. We cheered for UP, of course and UP won. 

 

Our game will be with UE and even at some point we already know what will be the result of that game, we still watched since we don’t know when we will be able to watch live again since we might not be able to make it to Final 4. We are also free so why not and since the schedule was released early, we can make a way to free the said date which are also weekend. 

FEU won against UE .

There are only few people watching that game and upon the end of the game, someone approached us if she can interview us and I will be gladly to refuse but Gem said yes. Haha

She said that it will just be a short one where it will be shown on the halftime for the next game of FEU. It was just an introduced yourself, what school you’re supporting, when did you became a fan, why do you watch live and message to the players.

I waited for it on the said game and it was a short one and nothing to be ashamed of. So far no one mentioned that they saw me on TV and it was an early game so who really watches that. HAHA 

Our game ended early like before 9pm and after the game we went straight to Macapagal.

PASAY IS PINK - I was really worried that it will end up early and we will not be able to hear VP speak but we made it. YAY! 

We are not really there the whole day unlike all those people but I think it is safe to say that I belong to that 400,000++ people who came that day. 

I was hesitant to really attend one rally before this since if I will be there I want to finish the whole thing and I don’t know anyone that is willing to do that. I can’t trust myself to be on the venue as well as early as you needed to be just to be in front. I worry that I will not make it throughout the day since my bladder and the weather might betrayed me. I don’t even know anyone before that is very game to stay until it is over. 

I worry a lot when rallies are starting, there is this anxiety in me that I really can’t explain as well. Sometimes I prepare myself if I will be attending one like what to bring and what to wear just in case I change my mind. 

It was just a perfect timing when Pasay was schedule on the same day that we will be watching a basketball game. 

I didn’t tell anybody until we got there because the real agenda for that day was UAAP game. 

UAAP first then Pasay rally. 

I’m so glad that even there are few screen at the back as well as the audio was a little messed up, we were able to listen to VP live. That we are able to catch up even for an hour or so since I’m also hopeful that it will get extended since there are lots of artist who will perform or talk and it’s a special day because it is also the birthday of VP Leni. 

Politics is one thing that I don’t want to post in this blog but I’m giving this one an exception. I’m still battling myself if I will post anything about it or not.

After the rally, we waited for Gem’s friends and we look for a place to eat and after that I don’t really worry that we will not be able to get home since buses are always available not until I realized that it was already 1am and MOA closed hours ago. 

We’re stranded in Macapagal for some time. We tried booking a car via app but nothing. No buses as well. Last source was Facebook and we decided to sleep at Gem’s and just go home the next day.

It was a very tiring day. 

It is easy to complain but I enjoyed it somehow. 

It was a new experience after being locked up at home for years. 

I’m also glad that I was able to attend a rally. 

    

Brobabes 2022 . Tagaytay

April 9 was only the beginning of my adventures for the month of April. Holy week was supposed to be rest weekend for me but since Lhea is on vacation here in the Philippines from the UK and holy week was her last weekend here, we are set to finally have a reunion. 

Lhea spent a day or two here in Manila before flying out to Palawan to see family for 2 weeks and she is scheduled to be back in Manila by holy week and that is the only time that we can meet and fortunately, everyone is available for a Saturday trip on Tagaytay. 

If it was not holy week, originally she wanted to go to La Union. March 20, 2020 she was supposed to go home unfortunately lockdown happened. We are already booked a place in LU for April 2020 but COVID. We got refund and just like everyone in abroad, they are just waiting for the restriction in here to loosen up so they can go home and visit family. 

Since she wasn’t able to come home since then, she really wanted to see family and she did. I was so close on booking a flight to Palawan after her Cuyo trip but good thing I didn’t since I really can’t figure her schedule. 

We still don’t have plan for that weekend since most people are on break and vacation most of places and nearby resort are also fully booked. 

We end up in Tagaytay to finally make a sequel to our May 15 2015 roadtrip.  

Lhea met Carla in Nuvali early that day and I was still waiting for Kit to wake up so I will be able to leave the house. I left the house by 1pm and we met in Sta. Lucia area so we can start this roadtrip and to be complete again after years. It rained a little and I still have to across a major footbridge and I got no choice but to use the parka. Haha 

We finally fetch Gem in Paranaque and we are on our way to Tagaytay. Good thing it was a little sunny at SLEX not until it drizzled while we are lining up at Sky Eye. Lol 

The only plan was to eat Bulalo but we somehow end up in Sky Ranch since we really don’t have much plans and it was still 5pm when we arrived in there that it is too early for dinner. Good thing there are food stalls in Sky Ranch before we decided to try the Sky Eye which took us maybe an hour lining up then we are told that it can only accommodate 3 people max on one pod so it is me and Lhea and on the other will be Kit and Gem. 

It was not as cool as it is since it was night time, the glass aren’t clear and it was foggy but it was definitely cold inside.  

After Sky Ranch it was dinner time and here we are again with a problem on where to eat. We ended up at RMS I’m not very familiar with the restaurant but it looks good, clean place and good food too. We are entertained by the band that was playing acoustic that was probably had a big tip from the people on the other table. 

We were supposed to still have coffee but Kit want to go back already in the city. Haha That we end up having coffee at the 3 storey Starbucks in Macapagal while waiting for Lhea’s mom. Apparently we can’t stay where she is staying but the last option is at Gem’s place. Yay. Haha

Kit needed to go home and the Chikababes stayed for the night. 

We slept late and woke up around 9am and we ate breakfast and catch up a little. If it was planned properly and if only I can still stay for a day I will end up going with Lhea running few more errands. Well it wasn’t planned properly and I badly want to take a bath already and I’m carrying so much stuff. Haha It was a Sunday and it is hard to book a ride home so I just booked a Joyride cost me only 50% compare to Grab. 

I was home by 3pm on Easter Sunday. 

BROBABES 2021

Ahhh.... I just missed hanging out with friends so much

It was Gem’s birthday when I randomly asked on one of our group chat an update on when we will see each other again. No plans at all and I think it really works well when there is no plan.

Together with my cousin, we recently visit a famous art coffee shop nearby and I sent a photo to the group chat and they loved to go.

We planned to go there that weekend immediately one thing I worry is the weather.

If it was raining it is somehow not worth it as much as it is also so hassle to be in the mountain. 

I'm so anxious prior to that weekend because I keep asking myself "will I really be seeing my friends this weekend?".

And it happened. As much as I want to go somewhere else, I also don't want to be back in the City where there are a lot of people with less distancing for sure. It is still scary as if our cases are going down. 

I have nothing to worry about on where we will go as long as this time we can be able to catch up just like before for hours after not seeing each other for one year and 8 months. 

Since 2011, we never let it happened that long most especially with Gem. I can't remember what was the longest time that we didn't hangout. Maybe a month or two but never a year. 

It was one of the best days this year. Catching up with them, reminiscing the good old days, talking about basketball and how are we missing the UAAP, how in 2015 when we almost fucked up our friendship. Lol How we will always go around MOA just to find a place to eat but always ending on the same restaurant. We missed than really. 

That day was such a breather not just for me but for them too.

No plans yet on when will be the next one but one thing is for sure, it will not happen after a year.

Quick Getaway

It's not really a getaway but it was planned months ago since a friend in college was about to get married.

It was a busy month (geez for all the post I'm doing busy is one of my always reason) lol

To be honest, even I'm already sure of going, I was about to back out last minute and I'm happy that I didn't back out.

If I was about to somewhere, I always tell myself that I shouldn't regret that decision most especially if it was full of fun. So much debate on my head whether to push this through or not but one thing is that, I wasn't able to see the people on the picture for 6-7 years!

I was nervous at first since I haven't seen them since 2010/2011 and it will be my first trip without my dude! how am I able to survive that's one of my question but I did and I really enjoyed that weekend.

Personally, it was a challenge since I was about to attend a wedding and how on earth to pack light when you're attending such event? but I did pack everything on my backpack with a blower and a hair iron in it! yay! It was a success and I'm so proud with that.

It was also an adventure most especially looking for place to rent at 5am. Olongapo is a familiar place since I've been there before and going back for a quick weekend with friends is an unforgettable one. Hopefully, I will be able to see them again soon not after years. :)

Just One

First and foremost, I'm sure you will not find this unless I will send you a link but I don't do that. I don't mean to hurt you but it's so sick to see how you handle things but we have our own way so if this is you handling things, ok. 

When you are too far, do you really have to distance yourself more?

On this high technology era we all have right now, physical affection is tested but distancing yourself more is a different story. 

Not judging you with what you've done but I just can't take the fact that you are literally detaching yourself more when you're already far. You know better. You know us. You know how to talk to us. Why hesitate. 

I also can't handle the fact that with such simple trip will pissed you off so bad and still I find it funny. 

I can't handle the fact that you can just throw everything away no matter what we've been through. 

Why. Just why detached. Why are you so shady that I think I don't know you anymore. 

I remember the day you left, I got a lot of realization with life in general. Still hitting me until today. 

If you feel lost why detached and literally cut off everyone? You can't find what you're looking for if all you think is cutting off the ties. I myself lost for handful of times but I guess I just really know myself that's why I know how to handle such thing. 

I'm forever here for you even you chose to detached and be pissed off but I can't do anything if you will literally cut it from where we left off. 

I miss you everyday and that doesn't change since the day you left but it's your choice and I respect that. Even it means I can't have someone who I can call for an impromptu dinner date in our beloved hometown every other night or every weekend or even every night. 

I know we both changed and we grow up individually but I still believe that whatever will happen in our future, we're still one of those people who got a sister from another mother. (I wish I'm right at this) 

Wishing you luck on finding yourself as you claimed that's lost. I hope you will know yourself better and whatever adventure you want to experience, enjoy. 

Just remember we do make our own choices and we should know how to deal with its consequences. But don't make major decision most especially if you're not emotionally stable. I wish you happiness with all your doings.

FIRST TIME

Gem, Aiv and Kit | 11.07.15

The reason why I used this as my profile picture on Facebook even I'm against on using a group picture because I don't want any friends or family to be jealous on why they're not the one that I'm with or why I don't use a picture with them ... but this is special and to be honest, I'm picky on what to use as my profile picture.

It will be one of our favorite picture in the history of our friendship. 

We didn't win that day so we decided to eat at Don Day and when we're almost done, Keith just put out his phone and said "Picture tayo" (Let's take a picture). He always complain because we love taking pictures but this day was different.

Gem and I looked at each other and we had happy tears.

After watching basketball games together for 4 years, that was our first photo on his phone. Haha.

Palawan 2015 . Last Day

Aug 23 - last day :(

Packing is necessary on last day of a trip and it is so sad.

Gem's mom remember that I do drive and she asked me to drive back the SUV at home from Jollibee where Amelia will have her send off party. I drive in Palawan! No big deal.

Unfortunately, we needed to leave before Jollibee joined the party because we still need to pick up something and we need to check in at the airport. We have 4 bags and my hand carry will just be my backpack full of important stuff and when we got our boarding pass, the guy at the desk remind us that our boarding time will be at 1840 and it was just before 5PM. We check in early because PAL emailed me that our flight will be 1 hour early than the original schedule so technically, we need to be there 1 hour early to check in. Then when he told us that our boarding time will still be at 6:40PM we tried to seat there and Gem and I are not talking ( de javu part - last year we didn't talk before our flight because we haven't eaten breakfast until we are almost pissed inside the plane and Gem said, "can we buy food I'm hungry" and we are almost in a bad mood that time. Lesson from that, don't make us hungry unless we will be pissed.) this time we had food from Jollibee but something is missing, something inside us was left behind and we didn't finished our food when Gem said "you know we can still go out". I somehow knew it because when his brother was leaving the other day they went home to bring some Chaolong because their flight was delayed too.

We only have my backpack as our hand carry so we went outside and we went back home. While walking towards the outside of the airport we passed by on a TV and they are watching a replay of a UAAP basketball game and it was FEU vs DLSU! When we arrived at their house we just watched it and eat some cake while killing some time.

You don't know what we sacrifice and you are not making it worthy.

Before 6:30PM we headed back to the airport. This time, no turning back and somehow that "something missing" is okay now.

The worst part was, our original flight details will be apply which means we are bound to leave 8PM. I ask Gem if she wants to go back home again but she said "no" and I'm okay with that.

While waiting, Cebu Pacific cancelled a flight back to Manila and we, the passengers of PAL are worried because we might be cancelled too but then a PAL plane landed in front of us and we know we will not be cancelled. This is my first time to fly with PAL and I loved it but the speakers of their plane is choppy or it was just the one who are talking who are slang and pure of air while talking. Baymax - bhalalala

The sky is so clear I don't know why Cebu Pac cancelled their flight but it was a smooth flight for us.

It's bitter sweet to see the lights in Manila and I don't want to go home this time. I want to stay in Palawan because we enjoyed it too much. I became a local to that place. I missed the time that my hometown was as peaceful as it is in Puerto.

So sad. As soon as we landed in Manila the stress is just waiting for me but we need to go back in reality. Gem called reality amazing, I called it shitty.

I'm on my way home and I want to cry I know that it will be another stressful reality that I will face.

Bye Palawan, you will always be my home away from home and thank you for the wonderful memories.

Palawan 2015 . Fourth Day

Aug 22 - 4th day 

It's 9AM and we're on our way to Crocodile Farm (fingers crossed, I want to see Surigao!). 

I saw Surigao but not Julio!!! 

I can't believe this is our last full day because our flight will be tomorrow night and hello reality. 

We ate lunch at the Crocodile Farm and we ate sisig again! Yummy, one of my favorite. :D

After Crocodile Farm, we went to Baker's and Mitra then we went home early. Gem and I had this "conversation" and we can't wait for 7pm where we set a date with Lhea for dinner and a bit of a drinking session but after that conversation I dare her and we're out of the house in a snap but not until I found them waiting for me downstairs. We headed outside with Froilan, our new friend. Haha. 

Plaza Cuartel

We headed to Baybay but it rained while waiting for Lhea then we walked to the church then to Plaza Cuartel then we stayed at Neva's for some pizza then Robinsons to look for a gift for Amelia then we went home to left our bags and headed out again for a night version at Baybay. We decided to drink just to have a chill night then we need some coffee or hot choco and everything is almost closed except for McDo so we just change location and eat some fries while drinking hot choco before 1AM.

What is chill night and we are making our last night memorable. I don't want to leave.
