Pink Wednesday Tour

I welcomed this year with Simple Plan concert  (January 12, 2012) and did have a second concert this year with Avril Lavigne (February 16, 2012) and that was so far my concert life for 2012 tho I really want to see WATIC, The Maine and Lady Gaga I let it passed because I'm also saving up on something and now I still end up with nothing (yet). Last Saturday night, Globe put a link on their twitter and saying that they are giving away 999 pairs of tickets for Nicki Minaj and all you have to do is to fill up a form and I'm just using my phone by then and I asked my friend Lhea (who also registered for the promo) if she can register me and I send her my e-mail and mobile number and she registered me on time. YAY! then Globe says they will e-mail on how to get the free tickets on June 26 but still I'm not hoping for this one until I get the tickets on my hands. June 26 passed and on the 27th of June there is this email by 2pm without QR Code, I started to tweet Globe for million times but as I told myself if there will be no other email until 7pm I will not get the free tickets, but I refreshed my Gmail until another e-mail was sent by Globe before 7pm and I'm willing to run on SM Taytay just to get the tickets. I called Nikka knowing its her day off and I know that she is just planning to stay home the whole day and asked her to go with me on SM and she did say YES! HAHAHA

I want to have Lower Box tickets but since there are no available (or maybe just the system of selling tickets where sometimes its available, sometimes not) I only got Upper Box (free seating) I asked Nikka if she want to go but for some reason she refuse to go ... and honestly if she refuse I will ask Gem (my forever dude on anything) I know if its free she will not refuse it (lol) then I posted on Facebook that I'll be seeing Nicki Minaj then Josh commented almost like (why not her) I told her because I don't have any idea that you like her (actually I'll try to ask her if Gem refuse my offer too but obviously not so....) and since its just days before UAAP Opening we can be familiar to the MOA Arena. Hahaha!

Despite of the wrong email I still got free tickets. Thank You Globe and Blackberry and to Lhea!! <3 and that night I just knew that these Nicki Minaj tickets are not for sale on the market unless you won on a promo from Globe or other celebrity or you get the new Blackberry phone. 

Honestly, I'm not a big fan but I saw her E! True Hollywood Story and somehow I listen to her songs not just to Super Bass FYI.

I’m not blogging for a while now because my life has been boring for the last weeks and I don’t know if this entry will have any sense at all … anyways .. Random Talk

Nowadays, we are surrounded by different phone brands and style, certain post of people on twitter or on facebook are question on "What phone to get?" most especially if they are upgrading their mobile phones.
I don't know what will be the ending of this post but I'm trying not to be biased and just being a practical person who will give you advice on where to spend your money.

Personally, I got my first phone when I was 11 or 12 years old and I did own a Nokia 5110 and after so many years mobile phones changed a lot. Last time I tweeted "Is the iPhone 4/4s the new Nokia 5110?" because I think everyone is getting an iPhone right now, lets begin with it.

iPhone - iPhone has been upgrading since they released their first unit back then and last year they released the 4s where you'll have your secretary/friend Siri together with the upgraded iOS5 (not to mention the coming iOS6 that will be released soon). If you don't know what I'm talking about then iPhone might not be suits to you. Apple is very good investment but you should think a million times before getting it and its not just about the application (if you are after the apps then I think you should just get the New iPad or the iPad 2 and just spend your extra money on an Android phone, a Blackberry, a Nokia, or on a Cherry Mobile or on a my|phone (trying to get on those after). You should also consider your lifestyle on getting a phone.
Certain things that you should be aware of are: iPhone is better if you have wi-fi at home, or you can register on certain promo of your service provider (which is a pain in the pocket) so you can have the whole world in your mobile phone, if talking about application: you should have an Apple ID so you can download on Apps Store or spend 500PHP - 1000PHP for some mobile technician to put certain games/apps on it and Emoji don't appear on other phones. Apple have a new product almost every year.

Blackberry - is famous for its Blackberry Messenger also known as BBM (that you can only use it with person who also using blackberry) bbm is so nice unlimited texting, sending pictures, sharing files, sending music, its nice if you got your friends on bbm even though they are on different service provider or even when you're on a different country (Apple's iMessage cannot beat BBM). Blackberry is good on texting and calling and having few songs but using it as an internet all day phone is a NO, because most of their batteries are just good for a day. On the good side, (as for my experience) I can put files like word documents, power point and excel. Some Blackberry phones have an auto focus on the camera app while some don't have. If you want a phone that you will feed some games app then Blackberry is not for you, mostly its for business people or for people who just want a smart phone that its not that complicated. There are also some affordable promo from different service provider for you to use the different social networking apps and also be connected on the internet.

Android Phone - Android phones are the cheapest smart phone that anyone can have but choose a nice unit of phone but as far as I know and as I see other people, mostly they're using a Samsung, I don't know  what comes next but you have SO MANY choices like:

• LG (I'm not familiar to it but some unit have a nice look)
• HTC (which have a nice look and screen display and also in favor to a music lover)
• Samsung (have the cheapest phone (I think) on the market and also an expensive one and the S series particularly the S2 and S3 which is the phone that compete with the iPhone
•  ..... that's the only thing that I know about Android Phones ...

Android phones are the best alternative if you can't afford an iPhone (just choose the right one). If you want a phone where you can put so many game apps and different social networking apps and have limited budget, then an Android phone is for you. It's also good of your home is a wi-fi spot so you can be connected on the internet and download some apps for your phone and most of the paid apps on iPhone are mostly free on the Android Market / Google Play.

Nokia - I'm really not familiar on the new Nokia phones I just knew that its already a Window Phone and I only knew few people who are using Nokia but Nokia phones are still the friendly phones out there most especially if its for parents or kids that are first time users.

If you are upgrading your phone you should consider a lot of things, think about it million times before buying, if it will suits your lifestyle, your budget, is it going be be useful to you whether your a student or working. Consider the specification of the product, read some reviews, watch some reviews on youtube, ask some people who are using it, ask some people who are familiar to such things. There are so many things to consider yet there are also different pros and cons of each. Better know on how long you can use it, if you are not worrying on the budget (when you can buy anything, GO buy it) but sometimes think or read some article if there will be another one by couple of months or weeks. Just read, watch and ask, there are no wrong by learning on a specific product most especially that the internet is just there most of the time.

Think million of times and if you came to the point that you can't stop thinking about a specific unit then you already know what you want but if a family member gave you something that you might not want or something just be thankful. :p

First Day

Everyone in college and in some private schools started their classes today, June 13, 2012. I can't believe I started my first day in college (FEU) way back in 2006. Same date. It's somehow memorable for me because I do remember seating in front of Karlo, Angela, Josh and Mel and why it will be never forgotten because Mellanie celebrate her birthday today (Happy Birthday Mel!). It's so awesome that we are friends for 6 years now. I still remember how we knew it was Mel's birthday that day, we are talking to each other as in getting to know each other then when we cam on birthday Mel said "yesterday was my birthday".

Yes, we all graduated and still friends even though we are not living so far away, we still have communication, and we are busy living our lives.

Make this school year so memorable for yourself and STUDY HARD but at the same time HAVE FUN!

Night life in Gapo

Here is a post dedicated to the night life that we had in Olongapo last week (May 30 - June 1, 2012).

We leave Angono at 5:30 in the morning and leave Cubao at 6:30am, arrived in Olongapo by 10am. We rode a yellow jeepney and a brown jeepney then did a hundred steps to get in Maricel's house. We ate lunch then sleep on the floor (where we slept for 2 nights and TV in front of us). We woke up by 5pm and we went to SM small aka SM Olongapo and walked to Harbor Point aka the new Ayala Mall in Subic (just opened last March or April or May). We are excited when we saw there is Bon Chon but when we asked the guard where is it located ... Fail! It's not yet open. HAHA we end up at Starbucks.

After Starbucks we walked to ride the yellow jeepney and the brown jeepney and then stairs again (btw, we get used to it) and we watched Shutter.

We did nothing but eat, sleep ,watch tv and hang out in Olongapo. I really miss our life there but nothing will beats being back on our home town. It was our first time to be together for 3 days and despite the invisibility of a person we did make it happen and no regrets about it. I did embrace my messy hair for 3 days, Nikka realized I do snore when I'm sleeping and most important is that we know we can count on each other no matter what happen and  (I'm going nowhere). HAHA


It was really fun and I'm looking forward for Semestral Break where Maricel (hopefully) will visit Angono. :)

Beach Moments

Last week we had a mini vacation in Olongapo and it was the best vacation with Nikka and Jv. We went to the beach on our second day because we are super tired when we got there the day before. From going down on a hundred stairs (aka Maricel's place) we rode 3 jeepney to get in Subic Beach Resort where the entrance fee is only 30PHP and 400PHP for a table with cover and just perfect for the 5 of us. We already woke up by 7am which is already late than the original plan (Geez, we really did nothing in Olongapo just relax, eat, sleep and watch movies and Phineas and Ferb. hehe) will do another entry about the other stuff that we do in a while.

Bon Chon

After our mini vacation (will do that post that as another entry) last week, we decided to go to Megamall because it's hard to go home straight from Cubao. JV said that we should eat at Bon Chon since he was the one who already ate there couple of time already ... I'm a little excited to try it since I see people tweeting about it and there's nothing wrong on trying new stuff most especially when it comes to food. lol 

No doubt that people really like it because we have to wait for a couple of minutes before getting our table.

I'm just amazed that they have Mogu Mogu but it's almost double the price when you bought on a convenient store or supermarket. 

That's my order which is a Thigh Ricebox (Soy Garlic). A little disappointed since the chicken skin is just the one that have the taste of a garlic but the inside feels just like a normal chicken (if you know what I mean).

It's good tho, I can say that I will come back soon but not as I come back to Jollibee, Mcdo and KFC for chicken and they need to find or transfer to a bigger place.
