Been dyeing my hair since late 2012 and never been on my full natural hair ever since. Tried different colors and for people who are not used to see my extreme hair change, they questioned my decision. 

Being a music fan particularly Paramore, all around the world, its okay, its normal but for people who were living under a rock most of their lives, its a crazy, it’s crap. 

I shifted every reason on why I dye my hair ever since that now its just a normal thing to me.

FYI, I'm a Girl . Dry Shampoo

This cost PHP215.00 at SM Hypermarket

Lately, I've been hearing a lot about dry shampoo and I wanted to try it but I search first about it on how to use it. 

I was roaming around the grocery one time just killing time and I end up at the shampoo section and I found one kind of dry shampoo I forgot the brand but I suddenly saw the Dove one. 

I was excited to use it since there are days that we just don't feel like washing our hair in the morning since lately our weather has been nice. But as we all live in this tropical country, we are much aware that we can't pass a day without washing our hair. 

Dry shampoo promotes that your scalp will not feel oily for a day or days and your hair will not be flat when it was used. 

When I was able to use it, I wanted to experience what it truly promotes but I wasn't satisfied with the result. My scalp wasn't oily but my hair is so dry after, I tried with and without  ironing after using dry shampoo. It feels like it was dry for days even I just used it once. 

I'm not sure if it was with the brand or not but I will still recommend it even with this weather but for sure not during summer. 

Also the smell is too strong for me I feel like I'm walking from here and there and I'm leaving the smell of it even it literally wasn't. (maybe it's just me)

No regrets anyway. I still have it and maybe use it whenever I feel to use it again. 

Some other brands are more expensive but I'm not so sure if that will make your hair dry too and if the smell is strong but it's worth a try. 

FYI, I'm A Girl . 11.11.16 Haul

Just like any other shopper, I haul during the 11.11 sale of Zalora. I purchase some on Lazada and I did regret purchasing one item so mostly I pass but doesn't mean my mom didn't. 

It's just 3 items so I'm not sure if it's legit to call it a "haul". Haha. I was so hesitant if I will be able to save with the items on my wishlist and I'm on a budget so I make sure that everything should be worth it.

A backpack has been seating on my wishlist for a while now since I don't have one that I just borrow from my sister the one that she don't use anymore but I just don't like the quality of it. I think somehow I didn't save on this but maybe at some point I still did.

I don't usually have girly stuff but I do own a doll shoes before until she decided to retire and I haven't replaced that, it's been months. I also do have 2 more flats before that I know I posted here somewhere but I let that go since I don't like the sole of it. 

This was already on sale for maybe 50%-70% already. Before I'm eyeing a black wedge on Melissa but I know that it doesn't fit on my usual days so I just let it go. So when I saw this was on sale and my size is available, I grab it I know for the price it's already a steal even that this collection was from 2014 or 2015.

I just don't like the idea of a Birken because I think if my feet become sweaty it will smell. Recently, I wanted to give it a try maybe it's a part of growing up. I put it on my wishlist on Zalora for a few days then 11.11 happened and I decided to get it even I'm not so sure about it. 

Been using it for a week and now I know. It's hard to explain but I love using it just not when it's raining. I also use it at home most of the time. Thinking of purchasing another one but maybe not yet and I'm having trouble on size. Haha. I'm UK5 and I ordered that but then it look like a boat in my feet but I think that's a bit better than having a small size. 

I was asking myself if I scored a good deal getting these items but for an original price of a Birkenstock for three items, it's a steal. 

I'm already avoiding unnecessary retail therapy hopefully for the rest of the year. Haha. 

FYI, I'm A Girl . After 3 years with RT

It's been 3 years when I first purchased my Real Techniques brushes that all started with the Travel Essentials then the Core Collection, Starter Brush Kit, Expert Face Brush, Stippling Brush, Silicone Eyeliner Brush and the Retractable Bronzer Brush. 

They're my first ever set of brushes since I hate sponges and after reading reviews and watching bunch of videos about them, I'm sold. 

Until now I love using these brushes but one thing that I noticed ever since I got it was the handle. Three years ago, I know that I will have a problem with the handle later on and it's my current problem.

The black on the handle is now sticky I'm not sure is it just because the way I store it or because living in a tropical country, we usually have problems on how to maintain a material that was used on bags, shoes, etc. 

I can still use the brush I just don't like it when the handle is being sticky. RT released the Bold Metals but I already find it a bit expensive for its individual price. 

I still recommend this brushes for first timers. It's a great brush but I'm looking forward on upgrading it maybe later this year and I'll make sure that I will never have a problem again on the handle. 

I may still keep it since the handle is the only problem, the brushes are still so good to use. Or I'll try the alcohol magic on it so I can still be happy with it. 

While typing this post I already search for solution on this issue and before publishing this I already did wiping the black part with alcohol and thank you to fellow brush lovers because it really works. Now I'm not sure if I'll get a new set. Haha. 

FYI, I'm a Girl . Matte

It's been way too long since my last purchase of makeup. Controlling my girl purchases doesn't make me stop to put some items on my to-buy-list.

Ever since I really love to have the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Also that NYX Matte Lipstick in Tea Rose because it's like the pink version of Merlot and it looks like the first lipstick that I ever owned. 

The NYX lip liner was on sale so I grabbed it and the regret purchase in this batch will go to the ELF eyebrow stencil kit. 

I realized that if you know how to do your eyebrows then you don't need a stencil. Every eyebrows are different and even the stencils will not help it to be a prefect shape, sometimes it can go worse. Haha. 

I got the Stay Matte before summer hit this country trying to avoid having oily face for summer but when you are experiencing this heat right now, omg you will try to avoid putting makeup at all. 

Seriously, this heat is so intense.

FYI, I'm a Girl . Last for 2014

I think I don't need to explain anything regarding to these expect that this are the things that I'm using lately and I love them.

As on typing this, I'm waiting in line to get home from a mall stroll with Gem and upon waiting for her earlier I drop by at NYX at Megamall. Dude! The girls are just discovering the brand and it was a bitter sweet moment because I've been in-love with it for a year and a half now. As if I don't know anything about it and the girl who was purchasing something was thinking what the fuck I'm doing there since I don't look like someone who loves make up when she doesn't know that I almost got 15 (or more) lipstick from NYX. Haha. And I even knew what was the shade she liked because I have that. Lol. Makes me think that those girls who get excited about a specific brand don't spend too much time online. Haha. One advantage of reading blogs and some other stuff and the power of online-browsing-shopping and youtube. Hahaha

Anyways, that's my rant.

FYI, I'm a Girl . Butter and Matte Lipsticks

There's no need to mention that NYX is my most favorite brand when it comes to lipsticks just because its so hard to look for a so-good matte finish lipstick in a cheaper price and a cruelty-free product. 

At this post, I mentioned that I don't recommend Butter lipsticks but I posted this because before we judge or write a review about a product be sure that you used it more than once. 

For the past month, I'm a bit tired of pink, orange and red shades and as a reward for some-fucked-up-days (even this are purchased before the Palawan trip), I added some lipsticks to my collection that I've been eyeing ever since.

Just like any other girls, my eye lash is not long and just so dull on everyday basis. Last year, I already knew about Shu Uemura eyelash curler but as pricey as it is for me, I will just let it pass. 

Recently, I started to watch make-up-related-videos again particularly anything related to lipstick and mascara. I will post my new purchases of lipstick maybe next week or so but now lets talk about lashes. 

My first mascara was a drug store product and it was a local brand Fashion 21 this was when I was just started to get curious about make up (last year) but of course it wasn't that great but as I'm using it everyday I also started to search what is good and as I'm on a budget, I don't like buying bunch of product just to try it out. Instead, I watch YouTube reviews and read some blog posts. 

Here's one disadvantage of make up products, you have to buy it first before you realize if it's good or bad for you or on your skin or you don't like the formula or it doesn't meet your expectation because that product got good reviews but when you use it you realize you two weren't meant to be. 

My second mascara was from NYX and I like it and so far the best thing I tried. Haha. I'm just on my third tube of mascara and I'm just waiting for this Maybelline The Hyper Curl Volum' Express (Waterproof) to dried-up so I can replace it. I don't like it but I just wanted to try it because Maybelline mascaras are so popular. Ok fine, the only thing I don't like in this mascara is its so hard to take it off. Usually, friday is the last day of the week that I put make up on except if I have to go somewhere on a Saturday but that's like once in a blue moon. If I don't have walk on a Saturday, I don't apply mascara usually until Sunday but surprisingly, sometimes until Sunday there's still some mascara on my lashes. Even make up remover, wet tissue and even washing my face every night can't remove the full mascara that I applied and I'm always scared to rub everything off because I'm scared that my eyes will be irritated. Unlike the NYX one, it can easily be removed even just a wet tissue and my lashes are free from mascara after a day and it doesn't smudge too. Its waterproof but at the same time its easy to remove. 

I'm still searching for the next tube that I will purchase so I'm in the hunt and that's why I'm watching some yYouTube videos again. At some point, I was convince that eyelash curler don't do so much work for a Kardashian eyelash but its all about the mascara but my aunt bought this Shu Uemura eyelash curler and I tried it and wow this curler at some point do the work but still at the same time, you need a good mascara. So at the end of the day I think mascara are the one who are responsible for a good looking eyelash and not an expensive eyelash curler. Even eyelash curler hurts sometimes, go for a drug store one just to warm up the eyelashes and let the mascara do the job. 

Mascara are not like lipstick to me, I can buy a bunch of lipstick but I will only use one mascara until it dried-up. My reason is, lipstick have different shades where you can show off your mood of the day or just because you don't want to look so pale but mascara its just for your lashes you can just put it once unlike lipstick where you need re-apply after morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, coffee break, and dinner. 

I'm confused if I should try another Maybelline or just move on to a Cover Girl or a Face Shop or just go back to NYX. Maybe that's a little difference about Cruelty-free products. 

I'm open to suggestion so if you are reading this and you are willing to share what works best for you let me know. :)

FYI, I'm a Girl . Zalora x i love koi

I do subscribe on different online shops mostly from the US but I also subscribed to Lazada and Zalora. Being a subscriber we often got some discount codes or they inform us that there will be a sale.

I've been ordering to Zalora for quiet sometime now but mostly, it was for my aunt but lately, they sent me an email saying they miss me and I have a 20% discount (yeah I know, its not just me but still a 20% discount is huge!). I don't want to put that opportunity on waste so I browse and I'm dying to have a swim wear even I don't have a particular plan for this summer because I don't like crowded places. I don't even go to the mall on a weekend. So I check their swimwear page.

Going back, this time my order is not for someone else, its for me! :)) I was browsing the swimsuits and I just found out that they have i love koi! :)) I discovered i love koi last year when they collaborated with bloggers (Tricia Gosingtian, The Plump Pinay and Patricia Prieto). The Plump Pinay is really a big inspiration to me and when I saw their collection last year, I was amazed that i love koi is very open on different body types and they have for plus size!!! I'm not totally a plus size (maybe? Idk) I'm not skinny either but some people say I'm huge (I know!) So I really don't know but I'm happy and I'm confident about it and if you think its a huge problem in this country, then look in the mirror. Not every swimsuit seller have something for plus size women and being open on accepting body types is a huge plus on getting costumers.

The only hesitation was the size, I'm arguing with myself if I'll get a large or an extra large. Due to some personal reason, I decided to get an extra large and it was a bit big but its almost perfect. (Not bad for ordering online).

I tried it that night and I was looking for a beach or a pool to go to. Hahaha. I took some photos but nothing is a decent one so I'll save that for later.

It was also good to have an alternative for the i love koi's website because they do carry different stocks so if the size wasn't available at their website and luckily there's an available on Zalora then you're lucky. Hehe.

FYI, I'm a Girl . Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush

I'm not good with eye liner. I have some brush for my gel liner but I hate that you need to wash it after one use because it will be dry. Then you can't use it the next day or later unless you wash it.

And then Sam and Nic collabrated and Silicone Liner Brush was born! I'm eyeing this for a while now, read some reviews and finally I was able to order and tadah!

I already tried it the day it arrived and I already love it. Its easy to wash unlike the other brush that you need to wait for it to dry but with the Silicon brush even after you wash out the liner on the tip of it you can just dry it with a towel and you can use it again.

Some reviews said that the down side was it doesn't pick up a lot of products but I don't think it was a down side at least you can control what are you applying.

I recommend this just like the other Real Techniques brushes and I want to have the retractable brushes but I really don't need it at the moment but I bet those are amazing as well as the mini brushes. :)

If you are struggling with pencil, liquid liner, brushes then this one is perfect for you.

"First impression lasts" and that doesn't apply in this post. My aunt was totally in love with the NYX Butter Lipstick but I cursed at it on this post and as I'm using my Mary Janes and Little Susie once in a while, I started to appreciate it.

My aunt is already on her second tube of Hunk and I wanted that before as well as the Razzle and Licorice. Next time. Haha. I started to shop till I drop again and it sucks. I'm so broke. :(

This new products of NYX will be the death of me (my reaction before ordering). Fortunately, it will not because Matte still won over the Butter Lipsticks but I have to try the butter so I bought 'Mary Janes' and 'Little Susie' while my aunt bought 'Razzle', 'Taffy' and 'Hunk'. My cousin bought a Matte 'Siren' because she's so in love with anything purple and as her payment for my 'Pure Red', I chose 'Merlot'.

I'm happy that Mapshop have a lot of NYX products now unlike before when they don't have a purple shade of lipstick.

I was excited to try it when I saw the lip swatches unfortunately, I'm not a fan of glossy. It cost ₱300 ($7). I'm happy that I just got 2 shades because next time I'll rather buy the round lipstick than the butter lipstick but hey it will not hurt if you want to try it. Round Lipstick is cheaper too ₱190 ($4.50) and its just almost the same.

I recommend it if you want something like the Butter Gloss and Xtreme Lip Cream in a tube.

Additional on my make up kit or just when I added stuff on my make-up bucket list. Haha. I hope I make that clear. Lol.

After having the Au Naturel palette from Sleek, I put the Ultra Matte Dark and Ultra Matte Brights on my list and as on my very hit post I really want the Core Collection.

As on my basic post, I purchased the Taupe blush from NYX for contouring because the contour kit on Sleek was always or mostly unavailable but my original plan is just buy the contour kit on Sleek and since the Shocking Pink wasn't available last time, I replaced it with the NYX Taupe blush. After having my final decision (yes, this are big deal for me) hahaha! I decided to have my (hopefully) last purchase of make up stuff for this year but I accept gifts. Haha! So yes without further adoe my "hopefully" final make-up haul are the following, Sleek Contour Kit (medium), Sleek Ultra Matte Dark, Real Techniques' Core Collection and NYX Matte Lipstick in Shocking Pink.

I love this but sometimes, I think I'm still not used on using it. Maybe I'm not seeing it. Haha. I use it regularly, sometimes I use the NYX Taupe blush. But yeah bronzer is a must (I think).

I used this once, just once. I don't have time to play with it yet hopefully soon.

Finally! Haha. After having this on my kit, I just use the contour brush and stippling mostly everyday. Haha. I should use the others more often. Haha.

YEHEY!!!!! After seeing this in person on my cousin, I'm dying to have it. Definitely, one the best pink shade ever made. :D

FYI, I'm a Girl . Basics

Last Sept 21st as you can read on my Throwback Thursday we we're defeated by DLSU and we lost the chance to have the twice-to-beat and we we're in danger that the next game will be our last (well, it did) so after the heart break from that game, my latest purchased arrived :).

The basics, I think if you are just starting on putting make up, these are the things you need:

blush, lipstick, mascara and eye liner

Mascara - I'm still on a hunt for a very nice mascara that is affordable since I'm using a F21 mascara and I'm not satisfied with it. I read that Maybelline is nice (next on my list or maybe an Etude one) but I really wanted to try this first and so far good but not so good. So, yup mascara for it really changes the look in your eyes.

Eye Liner - I'm such a loser when it comes to eye liner. When I practice at night its perfect then I'll try it in the morning, epic fail! I'm not good with liquid liner and pencil so I give this gel liner a try and I liked it but I'm still looking for a good brush but I have some good alternative but they dried up after using maybe because its a 'gel' duuuh. There's something magical about eyeliner.

Blush - I wasn't supposed to order this but the NYX Shocking Pink wasn't available so I just tried this. They say its good alternative for contouring, its available so I gave it a try. I'm not saying get a Taupe shade for blush but get a light pink or hot pink or ask the sales lady for what shade is good for your skin or maybe think about it while your in front of a mirror. I use this for contouring and I'm not a blush person but I realized one time that I look like a sick dude without some colors. So get a blush.

Lipstick - my favorite. Do I need to explain this part? I love lipstick it gives me a different vibe everytime. The reason why I did get a round lipstick that is red so I can always have a red and pink on my bag and I want something like Alabama or a Perfect Red shade and I'm happy for getting this (Snow White). 

Yes, you need the basics. Eyeliner is good even without eye shadows and put some mascara. Put some color on your cheeks and most especially on your lips. :)

FYI, I'm a Girl . Sleek

Sleek Cosmetics. The first time that I saw this brand was when Saab Magalona posted a picture wearing a matte lipstick and it was Sleek. At first I thought you can't buy it online since they already have in Shangrila and Trinoma (?) And I don't usually go there but then weeks ago Divine Lee posted a Sleek Contour Kit and a Brow Kit and Updated Trends is tagged. And yehey! I found someone who is selling Sleek online :D. Sleek is not so popular in here but it is in the states and UK.  

Since NYX are my favorite lipstick, I go beyond my boundaries and got some eye shadow palette. I want the contour kit but the medium shade isn't available. So I ended up with 2 lipstick and an eyeshadow palette.

Hooraaaaaay. I finally got one of the eye shadows palette from Sleek! This is one reason why I'm super interested on buying eye brushes because when I bought this palette and just having my Domed Shadow Brush (from RT Travel Essential Set) I thought I'm good to go. Well, I was wrong.

I really want to have 3 palettes from Sleek but as safe as I want to be I got first the Au Nature palette which is according to some are the alternate for Naked Palette. I love matte eye shadow than the sparkle ones because I don't like the glitters everywhere and I found Sleek as one of the very nice eye palette out there and if I'm not mistaken the only palette that's matte (its hard to look for matte stuff). Go get some I highly recommend this and if you search for Sleek eye shadow palette review you'll see those girls have almost every palette.

Ever since I got the MAC Sounds Like Noise, I fell in love once again to orange. That's why I wanted to order some orange lipstick again and yes, Sleek have wonderful lipstick collection. I got the Tangerine Scream. 

If there's a Hot Pink, this my friend is the Hot Orange

I don't know when it happened but I really wanted a goth / black / dark purple lipstick. Yehey for Mulberry. There's a few from NYX but Mapshop don't have them then lately, I found out about Digital Traincase and they have those shades from NYX and they have Sleek too.
