On Repeat . Golden Boy

FYI, I didn't joined the bandwagon lately.

I'm going to be honest that I've been watching this video everyday and let's not just mention how many times. Haha

I can't say how many reasons why I do watch it again and again but here are 10 reasons in no particular order:

1) TERRENCE BILL IS SO TALKATIVE. If you know him when he was still in collegiate, this guy always have just a few words when people interviewed him or when fans talk to him. 

2) HE WAS LAUGHING AND SMILING A LOT. Dude, seriously if you were able to have a picture of him taken during UAAP days, you will never have a smiling TR on your picture. A friend even ask him to smile on one picture for him to smile. Haha. 

3) ENGLISH! but he really prefers tagalog. (well, most of us here does).

4) HIS CHOICE OF MUSIC. I know we listen to different kind of genre and I know most guys do listen to RnB/rap music but I never saw Jolina Magdangal coming to the picture. I do have an idea that he loves to listen to OPM but I never saw the 90's vibe. Ever. I'm sure everyone was so surprised (well, he just revealed it on 3x3). 

5) FOCUS. The cameraman focus on TR too much! I can see his pores and the muscle on his face says a lot. 

6) I think he will be a nice road trip buddy just be sure he will wear seatbelt. Haha. 

7) HE JUST WOKE UP. 

8) When we will pass on the same area where he started playing Tameme, I will remember him. Haha 

9) the way he practice his dribbling skills. Wow.

10) HE RAP and SANG A BIT. Also, when he said "oh. damn"

I have a soft spot for this guy ever since.

Terrence, if you want to put color on your hair just tell me I'll make it green. Hehe.

I'm just so proud of him and he doesn't have any idea about it.

Avril Lavigne Live in Manila

I think this is the first concert where I didn't mind getting a ticket last minute.

And unfortunately, as I'm aiming for a closer section, I have to settle on Upper A ticket because if I will be on a lower section, I'll be broke for a month.

1 more station before Cubao and I'll buy a ticket first. Hopefully there's still a good seat. Uggghhh.

Sadly, fewer audience compare to her 2012 show and I don't know if the concert day which is Monday was one of the reason.

I have to admit, this was the 4th time that I saw her live and I'm not gonna lie this was not her best show. The first 3 Manila show was way better than this year though there are new songs and I love that I heard it live. There's a minimal interaction with the audience or spiel and she didn't even mentioned or greet  the huge banner saying "We love you b*tch" though she smiles a lot :D. Unlike the 2012 show, she even have this intro "this song is a very song... Blah blah" and the only spiel that she said is this year was "I love you Manila" (well, mostly). And I think 'Black Star' was the best intro ever and "I'm With You" wasn't the best last song ..... but its so catchy ... 

I love Avril and I don't want to out grow the fan girl in me so I still enjoyed the show recording some of my favorite songs, singing along and just being amazed to the crowd, the intro video, and I was surprised that Chad was there! I don't know if Chad was with her the whole time she was in Japan but he was here! I'm not a big fan of him but as Avril's husband I also read some articles about them and his band was pretty famous before. And at this moment I just realized that I'm a fan for 10 or 11 years! omg. :D

I'm happy that I saw her again and hopefully one day I will be able to meet her and be closer to the stage. See you again soon!

One of the advantage of getting cheaper ticket was, I was able to buy a shirt and the 2nd photo booklet and I'm still be broke until the end of the month and maybe even 1st half of March. Less hangout until then.

UAAP S76 MVP: Terrence Romeo

After the last game of FEU rumors are starting to spread like nutella that the UAAP S76 MVP is from FEU. I don't want to believe at first since there are no official announcement yet but I'm quietly praying it is true.

My friends know this and if you read my UAAP blog post since Tumblr days for sure you know that I'm one of his gazillion fans. When he grab 'Rookie of the Year', I was busy with school stuff so there's no spare time to watch basketball on tv or live and somehow, internet is not so important yet. But there was this one day that we watched live and it was versus La Salle and I think they won. Here's a link to my blog about that.

The three photos are from 2009, when Aiza was taking Physics, their professor require them to watch UAAP live and I would join them. happy times :)

Until last Season 74, Gem and I started to watch live as in most of the games we're there and ever since S74 I never missed the FEU vs ADMU game even though mostly FEU was defeated not until their match on the first round this season. ;) sadly, S74 was the last year of Ping.

If you witnessed the previous years of Terrence, you know that he really improved this year let's give credit to his experience on D-League and on the things he learned from different coaches (not just on UAAP but also on D-League). 

I'm so proud of him with all the improvement he did, changed the things/attitude that he need to change inside and outside the court, involving his team mates (and probably one of the best story of this season was the TR-RR tandem) and who will forget the most famous MRT (Mike, Ryan, Terrence), listening to coaches carefully and he will follow whatever the instruction to him,handling some situation inside the court (good thing he just got a warning regarding on unsportsmanlike foul or else, he will not get this MVP and Parks will get it again for the 3rd time because Mammie got suspended. I'm not against Parks but I'm just explaining the other situation that might happen), dealing with bashers and to the people who wait for him every after game (hehe),  and yes Terrence Romeo can pass the ball and he just scored 311 freaking points on 14 games with consistency of 20 or plus points on the first 7 games and 30 or plus points for 3 games.

Since I'm super proud of him, I got teary eyed when I read that it is official, Terrence Bill Romeo is the UAAP S76 MVP. I'm so happy for him and with him getting the highest individual award hopefully, the FEU Tamaraws will grab the championship this year.

Can't believe that the UAAP basketball season is almost over ... I'm going to miss this again but I keep reminding myself that we can watch the not-so-nervous-games on PBA D-League.

Paramore in Pomona

Woke up too early than usual for unknown reason. Then everyone on twitter is already talking about the first live show of Paramore for 2012! I don't know what's the time difference of my country and California but good thing I was already in front of the computer once the concert already started. 

I wore my yellow pants just to have the spirit of the first live show for 2012 and I have to choose a good shoes that will go on with my yellow pants and I have decided that I'm going to wear my 1461 Dr. Martens and when I saw a picture of Hayley, she is also wearing a 1461 yet its black while mine was brown. (just trying to connect something) lol

Going back to the concert, I love how the videos are HD! Thank you to RTMorasonMDNew who shot the videos! I love that the lights are changing every now and then and of course how it goes with the beat of the song. Almost a year when Paramore played live and FBR15 was their last show last year and every member of Parafamily is looking forward to this day because of different reasons like for me I want to see when they play Hello Cold World live of course we want to see them already and we're missing them already!!! The energy when they're playing is on its highest level! I know they miss us and doing their thing on stage but we miss them too! I'm glad they come with a good playlist but I miss hearing My Heart and Let The Flames Begin, maybe it wasn't played because its more on the Riot! album. I don't know I'm happy and I know the band is happy and Hayley almost cried when singing the "landslide" last part most especially when she said "thank you guys...". 

My favorite is In The Mourning and Hello Cold World but when I watched all of the videos it seems that all of the songs are new even Whoa. I love them and somehow I really can't explain it right, I just know.

Love them so much and I'm happy that I'll stick to them until the end, oh well, it never ends ;)

- I wrote this last August 16 and I just published it now ... Paramore already played at Belfast and Edinburgh earlier this week and now they're in the UK for Reading and Leeds 2012. My friend Cate from Portugal will be at Reading and Leeds and I can't wait to hear her story. Till next time Parafamily <3
