Letting Go . My First Doctor

How many times you let go of something that once made your day?

I'm not sure on how many times I experienced this already but I'm about to let go my first ever Dr. Martens. I'm selling it for about $70 and I got it for $150 for almost 3 years ago. (you can read my excitement when I got this here).

I will never forget this baby but I don't like seeing it eaten by dust on my shoe rack. I didn't have a hard time looking for buyers because I know someone so close to me having a UK4 size. Actually, my sister is but she doesn't want a docs so I'm going one more step and its my dear cousin who is a docs addict at some point. Hehe. She got her first docs last last year (you can read my post about her here).

I'm happy that they are willing to adopt one of my babies and I'm sure it will last for so long until they will be sick of it because its a Dr. Martens (you will never understand if you don't own a pair).

I don't want to sell it to other people because I still want to see it, I still want to witness the journey of my first docs who once made my day after all the hard work on our thesis in college. I want the people who will appreciate it and who will take good care of it and I'm happy that it will be my cousins (for now because once they feet will be bigger than a UK4 then its up to them if they will give it to other people who deserve to own a pair).

Road Trip . Tagaytay

After that Liliw Laguna trip, we went to Tagaytay last August 9, 2013 and it was considered as a holiday. It was a little bit of a bad idea because everyone in the Metro was on their way to Tagaytay that's why we were stuck in traffic for some time. Probably the most heart breaking part was we weren't able to eat some Bulalo :(

Oh well, hopefully we will have another trip on a weekday.

Doctor in Green

Speaking of another doctor that landed 2 weeks ago. haha

Together with the Triumph 1914 of Daphne, I was having a hard time on what to order .... There was this Hinckey docs which was new and available on pink and yellow, the patent lamper yellow and the original green one ...

I just wanted a pair that can go on whatever day it is because my pink one was a little bit sensitive because of the material which is Cartegena and if ever I will go on a whole day walkathon, I don't like my pink doctor to be super dirty. I was really down on choosing a yellow or a green and I was so close on choosing the hinckey but as I think about it every time, I came to the conclusion that I already have a yellow one, not really super yellow but at least it has a shade of yellow even though it was a wrong size, I can still wear it on a limited time.

And I ended up with the green one and I'm satisfied with it. ;)

I think it was a little magical on the states that it was ordered and delivered at the same day ... 

shooting with a flash makes it a little bright green but in reality it was somehow a dark one... 

I already wore it twice because I really need to break it first but at first it doesn't feel that I'm breaking them because it was the right size for me.

its a little funny and odd because when I got all of them I really make sure that it was clean for couple of hours or days so I can still put it on my bed for picture or just because it was new and when I started to use them I don't clean them anymore look at the black one! HAHAHA

I was browsing some photos on tumblr and instagram and I saw some people who even have wounds during the first time they wore theirs, my advice, get the right size. ;)

Bad Ass Doctor

Yes! Some bad ass doctor arrived 2 weeks ago.

I'm just blogging about a particular doctor every time so I hope you know what this means. ;)

Dap (my cousin) and I was talking about this for so long, I think since December. and YAY! because it happened! :))

Her uncle was coming in the Philippines for some family event and as I'm typing this her uncle and his family are back now in the US. btw, THANK YOU FOR BUYING OUR DOCS! :))

Dap chose this docs because its different and cute and I don't know what else. HAHAHA

Last Moday I had a date with Grandma at Megamall and when I left them seating on somewhere, I went to Power Mac and I took a new baby home.

HEADPHONE!!!!!!

I've been ranting on twitter that I need / want a headphone because mostly earphones are killing my ears if I'm using it more than 3 hours .... So yeah, I was looking for Urbanears since I already browsed their website last time while I was looking for a cute headphone (I also browsed HedKandi and Skull Candy but Urbanears won!)

Doctor in Baby Pink

Last March, Alaine and I know that Ninang Jeng will go home here with her parents and we don't want anything from the states just some Dr. Martens ... and when I browse their website these baby (Chalky Colours) are the latest that time! and I've been dying to get some pink since I got my first one and without hesitation I know what I'm getting.

and yes! I got the pink one. Tho its a little sensitive to water so I make sure I'll be using this baby when there's indoor event or at least when it will not rain the whole day... 

So here's my separate post about my baby pink ... I'm so in love with it and I still crave for one or two or three or as many docs that I want but I have to stop for now. hehe

but seriously, I think I'm just going to get one or two more that I can wear when it rains or at least something just for my daily thing maybe I'll get a yellow or green or a gray that have a smooth or patent lamper as a material ... I really don't know for now but as I said, I have to stop for now because I'm saving for something   that I also love to have. :)

OOTD: Coldness

This post is actually what I wore last July 3. It rained all day and I'm so lazy to wear pants so I wore a black shirt, floral skirt and a 1461 Dr. Martens from Ninang Jeng ... Excuse my first post about "Outfit of the Day", I think its a little fancy. lol

I'm trying to get a good mirror (soon) so I can photograph my outfit ... but this is fun. :p

Happiness Overload

Last Thursday, my aunt call me out of the blue than the usual, I'm thinking if what she will ask or anything but as I entered the room she pointed on a paper bag then boom! OUR DR. MARTENS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!! YAY! I'm feeling so hyped when it comes to this. HAHAHA. She called Alaine if she can meet us but unfortunately she has exam the next day and she need to review. We meet the next day, My aunt told her that a doctor is looking for her and then she jokes "Who? Dr. Martens?" and look around the room and she haven't see it yet! HAHAHA then look around again and she was like WHOA! and she hugged the box (my cousin is so cute!) Then she opened it ...

That's Alaine's docs. I know she's so happy with it. :) I can't wait to go out and have a docs day with her. HAHA

I don't know what's the reaction of my sister when she saw her's and I don't have a photo of her wearing it but it's on my mom's camera so ... one thing I know she is also happy because she loves wedges and this one is called Mona.

Talk about the last photo ... YES, I NOW HAVE A PINK DOCS!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM AND SINCE MY LOVE FOR HER IS UNEXPLANABLE, SHE DESERVE A SINGLE POST JUST FOR HERSELF. LOL
