Me Time

December 3 2022 

Due to some unfortunate events I have to cancel some of my scheduled date with Gem. Also need to reschedule my 2nd year check up at American Eye. 

I was able to visit the new clinic at Podium when we surprised Kitpol in October. 

Yay. Two years free from glasses. Can you believe that. I still can’t sometimes. 

I don’t want to go out actual on a weekend but Dr. Sy isn’t available so I have no choice but to grab December 3rd before everything goes crazy this month. 

I really don’t plan much that I just want to eat at Yabu or have some BLK513. 

The day before I received Saab’s newsletter and she said that they will be in Trinoma on Saturday. Hmm. Makes me think of going to Trinoma but until last minute I was undecided. 

My check up was good. It really boils down to resting and less screen time as much as possible. I had .5 astigmatism but she said it is okay for the future. I don’t know why. 

If you still have no idea on where to spend your bonus and you are wearing glasses for years, please do still consider lasik and go to American Eye in Podium. 

After Podium, went back to Megamall where there are a lot of people that I don't know where they all come from. I can’t even eat properly because all restaurants are full. I was able to find a table at Auntie Anne’s then there was a work call good thing I just need to just check something online. Visited a store after eating then Megamall exhausted me so much that I decided to go to Trinoma. 

Just took the MRT to Trinoma, easy peasy. I was able to score a table at Tokyo Tokyo and finally had my late lunch. Decided to go around end up at Handyman and True Value and shopped for dog treats. Lol

Waited until 6pm so I can enter the barricaded area. I have no energy anymore so I went there and the guard said to sit in front. Who am I to reject that on my free Cheats gig though it was awkward at first because I somehow know this people much and they feel like my best friends but it was just my first time seeing them. Haha 

Believe it or not after all these years, it was also my first time to see Saab! Haha 

It was my first Cheats gig and hopefully not the last.

When we arrived at 7am at ICE, there are people who are already lining up but still good. We split up, Diana, Ginnie and I lined up for the ticket redemption while Dexter and Harry at the entrance.

So first, we have to change our online QR code for the physical ticket which is cute, btw. So, the ticket redemption booth will open 11am and we are already there at 7am (waited for 4 hours). After 20 minutes, we already got out tickets. 

We transfer on our spot at the entrance, where we met some of the people who Dex, Harry and Ginnie met in Singapore then we also met another Filipino who was beside me all along the whole show (Hi Mariae). 

We were at the entrance line at 11:30am until they opened the venue entrance by 4pm where we were burned up under the sun. Thankfully it didn’t rained and they gave us free water but no bathroom break!! We also did ordered via Grab Food with Mcdonalds but fuck no bathroom break since there were no portalet and we're about to explode!!! Even I was thirsty I can’t drink anymore since I badly need to pee. I even got tan lines just by lining up and we are already messaging the promoters so we can enter the venue early but nothing. 

Since they already posted instruction that open gate will be at 4pm where there is a very good air condition plus food stalls, bathrooms and the merch booth but they did let us in about 4pm then waited again and have free time to retouch, do make up, eat some food and lined up on the restroom then they let us in the pit at 5pm (waited 5 hours and 30 minutes just be at almost-barricade). 

Dang it. When we got there, I thought everything will be okay like we can literally stand there and wait patiently but while waiting for the show to start until the end of the show, we weren't able to have a mini-personal-space as in people are just pushing towards the front the whole time.

While we are waiting I literally slept for a few minutes even Mariae and Diana was able to take a nap while standing and not bothered if we are going to fall since we are in front and people are pushing us there’s no space to fall. Lol 

Kotak was the opening act and it was a local band and we literally didn’t understand a single thing but we were amazed on their performance but I really wish the vocalist have a guitar, so she will not just air-guitar the whole time. It was fun though we were hyped up for the main show. 

Then it was time for Paramore.

After the Manila show, I’m really looking forward to be dancing with my friends just like how we did in Manila but with no space really it was hard. Maybe its ok if we are really in barricade but were not and people are in front of us too and we don't want to push them or else they will crash. The worst, girls are the one who are not stopping on pushing, as in. 

Same setlist and I was able to sneaked in my camera since Diana have a big bag. Hehe and fck it, I got good shots!!!! 

The good memories are:

• Hayley saw me no doubt in that with Steal my Sunshine on my hair how come she will not recognize her own hair dye? Lol
• There are moments where I believe she looked at me in the eyes while she’s there standing in front of me singing. :( 
• I was literally at the middle right in front of her. (For the 2010 and 2013 show, I was always on the opposite side of Taylor. I told myself that if ever I'll end up on the side it should be on Taylor side but guess what, I was in front of Hayley!!!)
• I got good photos and videos but audio is not as good if you are near the stage

The bad ones: (I can totally rant with everything but I’m just keeping it simple)

• No personal space. Come on, no one will be stealing our spot just for the people at the back to be in front. We are good runners and we got friends and we will make that waiting game worth it.
• We weren't able to dance freely - no space!! 
• The crowd was freaking wild! I watched couple of live on Youtube but I don't see them pushing each other when they already got the spot. 

I can go on with all my rants but the root of it all was the space and girls who never end up on pushing, that's just it.

I watched different festival and artist on Youtube but never in my life that I will experience first hand where people will be picked up by security to be out of the crowd since they passed out. 

The first five song were intense. 

Crushcrushcrush was at the first five song and there was this girl beside Diana who was complaining even before the show starts then suddenly she was just “I can’t breathe” while she was just making her way to the barricade then she got picked up by security. 

Actually when Grudges started to play, I’m not sure if I will be able to hold myself up to finish the whole set so I did not really dance hard first since I also needed some air to breathe and calm myself, we waited for hours and I’m not going to let myself break down. Dex, Harry and Diana don't even have enough sleep and Harry wasn't feeling good since he got fever and waiting under the sun is also not good for him but we all know how to calm ourselves and we waited and we deserve this spot. Thanks to the security who was distributing water mid-show! 

Re-watching my videos and comparing the Manila show and Jakarta;

Manila crowd: We love you Hayley!! …. Return to your seats!!!! 

Jakarta crowd: ……. Hayley, water please! 

I was again being emotional when they sang Misguided Ghost and really tears in my eyes when 26 was played. Tears plus sweating, not a good combination. Lol 

I wish there were more small talks but when that girl started the pulling out by security in front of Hayley, they know that this crowd was wild. Taylor even rushing fixing his guitar while Hayley was started to do small talk but you will notice they are rushing to end this because there are couple of girls who are passing out the whole time. Even the one who was in front of us earlier that day was pulled out nearly end of the show because she passed out hanging on the barricade.

No space! We can't even properly raise our hands because for sure you can never put that arm down since, no space!!! 

Misery business came and if the girl in front of me, V (I think) wasn't in a Still-Into-You UNIF jacket then maybe I was able to do MizBiz. Lol

That moment when Hayley said “YOU” pointing at us but I knew it was V who will be picked up but really, I died a little and was stunned. I wish I was able to do it since I can be on stage, sing and hug and say hi to everyone on stage and to the crowd. At the same time, I don't want to since I will not be able to finish the whole set in front. 

The show went well, we are all dead hungry and thirsty and can't even walk properly after the show but it was fun. I'll do it again if ever but I’ll be much prepared. Hahaha. Though my friends said that they will not do it again in Jakarta. Hahaha

V, the one who was chosen in MizBiz was somehow in front of us too when we are lined up inside and she asked me if that’s Adora the MizBiz girl and told her yes. I was telling this to friends and Dexter said that my reply should be “and you will be next” lol as if we know!! 

(Silently fan-girl moment when I saw Adora and we have common friends now but we weren’t introduced properly. After the show there was a chance and a picture but dang so tired) lol 

After the show, I literally lost my friends and with signal being jammed, its hard to contact everyone. Mariae and I sit on the gutter while waiting for the others and after maybe an hour? We are complete. 

What an experience, it was my first time to be in front and to experience a wild crowd.

Halsey Live in Manila 2018

Halsey is a must see.

I almost ditched this concert because of some major event this month but I don’t want to regret it. I almost regret not seeing some foreign artist for the past years and I have been a silent Halsey fan ever since I saw her talking to Josh Dun maybe 2014 or early 2015.

I don’t do much research on how she is during live performance until recently and I knew somehow that I will regret it if I didn’t see her. She’s already on the last leg of the world tour and seriously, Manila is the third to the last for Asia after Singapore and I was amazed how she got that energy. Almost maybe 5 months doing it with a little break in between dates but dang she got so much energy on stage. You will never see her tired doing all the running and jumping while singing though at some song she might not hit that note but you will never notice that much.

I’m happy that I made it happen and I will not regret anything.

Thankful that at some point it was transferred to Kia Theater from Araneta maybe tickets sale isn’t that good but it just more intimate there except for the guards at Kia Theater that are so disrespectful. I know that they are doing their job but please give us a break and let us enjoy the show.

One more date left next month for her world tour but if ever her next tour will include your city/state, please do yourself a favor and watch her live. You can thank me later. ;)

Paramore 2018 . Jakarta (Rescheduled)

Shoutout to the people that I met that day and was included on this video!!! YAY . Friendship.


Despite of my mood last week, I cannot forget that we got new date for Indonesia!!! So many things to look forward to but for now, we got to save. lol

It took a while before giving us a date and I think that's ok as long as we really got a good date meaning all of us can go back in Indonesia most especially on my case, I was anxious that the new date might not work on my schedule but it was a weekend!!! Prior to this announcement, I even keep on dreaming about Indonesia for days and then this! YAY <3

Next show after Manila so hopefully, I will still be able to score Manila tickets before that weekend.

What summer? I'll rather save for other events this year. lol

Paramore 2018 . Jakarta

I was so anxious leaving for the weekend since there are tons of things to be done but luckily Friday was also a holiday so it was basically a long weekend.

As I was planning this Jakarta trip for less than a month, I wasn't that excited to be honest since I will still be doing some work stuff prior to leaving for the airport and for me, that's priority then after I can think of the flight and hopefully no delays and of course to run at the venue since I have the same-day flight as well as the concert.

I already searched for the tweet that I read where I got this idea and followed her on Twitter. One day she posted that she won a meet and greet and I congratulate her and she reminds me that there's still a chance since there's another contest. Unfortunately, you need a group of 3 to join and recreate a scene from the music video of Hard Times. Sarah mentioned Jerome and Ginnie on one of her reply to me and that makes us three and we can already join the contest. We were so anxious about at first but we talked on Twitter and we are so willing to do it and we did. Despite of being busy days before leaving, I tried to squeeze it in just to try our luck.

That was our entry and we didn't won but guess what, we all found friends or should I say family?! :)

Jerome will be flying to Jakarta the day before the concert and I have the same flight with Ginnie and we met at the airport and basically didn't separate ways until she got to the airport the next day. I let her stayed with me at the hotel until the next day.

It was an on-time flight and I'm so surprised. lol We arrived in Jakarta, got to my hotel at Tangerang rest for a bit then headed to ICE and we are already stalking twitter on what is happening at the venue. While we are on our way to the venue it was at least 15 minutes we are already amazed with how nice BSD was, on how you can still see the sky on a very wide scale compare here in Manila where you just have to chase it at the MOA Bay Area unless you will not see much oh and also at the road but not as much as we witnessed.

While admiring the scenery Ginnie and I were already somehow figured out what must be our reaction after the show most especially she was a first timer. We found out about the pink printed ticket that is so cute but unfortunately they probably ran out of ink so it was also a limited thing only. We are rushing since we also wanted to have our own version of the ticket which is much better than the MOA ticket. lol

Upon searching for the entrance on where to redeem it since we thought that we all need that kind of ticket, I looked at my phone and Paramore posted on twitter that linked to the Facebook page, I stopped Ginnie right away and we just read the whole thing or maybe not since I already saw the heartbreaking word.

I froze and it was really heartbreaking but we can't let her perform most especially with her health at risk.

As we enter the venue, as in literally everyone doesn't know it all until we already lined up for merch and talked to some while at the line and met Diana since she was next to us in line and I'm not sure how it all happen maybe because Ginnie and I are talking in our native tongue. hehe. Ginnie and I can't spill the news to these innocent people so we told them to check Twitter and Facebook.

We felt sad because like us, some flew to Jakarta just for the show and we are few hours away from the opening act. Personally, I somehow can't wait to dance harder that day but I know deep inside I still have more patience and I can still wait for the rescheduled date for Jakarta and maybe a few more Asia dates. yay!

I can't hate the day where I already met some new friends from Twitter, met some people who at the same flight as ours and talked to some fans too at the venue it was surprisingly one of the best days. How can you hate such thing?! Besides for us who really flew from different places and got to be there at the venue prior to the announcement, we got merch!!! YAY! I got the shirt where there are tour dates at the back and finally, a hoodie!!!


We weren't able to meet Jerome because he wasn't early at the venue and when he knew it was postponed, he didn't went to the venue already but we still talked on Twitter and hopefully we will meet him soon. I found new people on Twitter who I also met at the venue though some who we met during our flight, we weren't able to talk and hangout longer that day since we lost each other but I still rememebered their faces and and few names. hehe

From her personal twitter, Hayley do update us a lot like she was at the hotel room and doctors suggested to take some more rest, etc. While we are at the venue, the promoters already opened the gate and everyone run inside as if the show will happen even we know that it will not. Promoters announced about what Hayley posted and about her condition and they showed us a video of Zac and Taylor apologizing about it but prior to that, they played The Only Exception at the venue and this happened.

How can you hate such day where you saw a cooperation with this fan base/family?!

I like the crowd there than the crowd in my home country where there's too much competition.


As we all wait for a new date for Jakarta, we can all seat back and hope for a fully recovery of Hayley and I guess, we can all see each other again in Jakarta soon. <3

PS. As we rome around Jakarta and upon doing research, Asian Games will be held in Jakarta from August 18 - September 2, 2018. As much as it should be closer to the date in Manila which is Aug 23, I think it is one reason why they can't announced a date yet. Lets have more patience please and I'm not minding going back to Jakarta. :)

Paramore 2018 . Plan B

As we count the days to the Manila show, I got so frustrated that I keep on checking SM Tickets and any other apps where people can sell online but there I found out about the tripled price tickets.

I want to experience the show closer to the stage even I’m not that tall. I was willing to accept the fact that I might still got tickets even at least a lower box or patron or VIP, VIP will be better of course.

I don’t want to rant on twitter how fucked up the people who are selling it triple the price since I was still hopeful for maybe a SRO tickets and I also read that some people are still looking for tickets.  So frustrating. Makes me angry and sad at the same time.

As a bitter human being, I don’t want to see any Paramore update on my timeline. I skipped every video that was appearing on my Instagram, I haven't listened to a Paramore song for a month now. Frustration level is so real. 

I was about to accept it while checking twitter if any people in Manila who are also ranting about it but I read one tweet where she tweeted about not getting a ticket to the Manila show but now she got tickets to the Jakarta show. Getting that idea, I wasn't able to screen cap that tweet or at least make a convo with her because I immediately check on how much the ticket in Jakarta since it wasn't sold out then few minutes later, I was looking for plane tickets, hotel and searching about Jakarta. (read the idea from Sarah)

I know some people in the US and UK really travel much just to attend almost the whole tour and as the date is ok on my schedule, why not do it for the first time. 

I was able to tell my mom about it and at first she said no but she also asked if I really wanted to attend that. duh, of course I want to. I badly want to. As if people know how bad living in here and wasn't able to save just to join Parahoy or any other amazing things in the US. 

The next day, she didn't directly say yes but she was already asking places to visit there. I was busy the next days that I got some deadlines but once I was done with all of it, I already booked everything. 

Airfare, Hotel and Paramore ticket all-in less than the tripled price ticket in Manila. 

THERE’S NO WAY I WILL BE BUYING A TICKET FOR TRIPLE THE PRICE. 

I mean I’m willing to spend much on Paramore but being in here and knowing that it was triple the price, NO F WAY. 

For that price I rather be in another country for the first time exploring plus experience a Paramore show. 

This will be my first time to do this. I was waiting if there will be a Singapore on tour since I already have a friend in SG and I was just there in 2016 so I’m a bit familiar with it. 

This trip will have a lot of first time once again and I cannot wait but for now, survive the month of January and look forward to February with lot of motivation in my pocket. 

Traveling solo is almost at the bottom of my bucket list but since it was a last minute decision then, I’m so looking forward to it. YAY.

Will blog everything and I'm a bit excited for it.

Paramore 2018 . Manila

Paramore in Manila was announced early November and the tickets will be on sale November 23, 2017. 

I was at the Paramore show in 2010 as well as in 2013 but unfortunately I will not be in the 2018 show.

November 23, 2017 - Tickets will be available in store and at the website by 10am but some malls will open at 11am so at some point it was moved to 11am. 1 hour is okay as long as I will see my favorite band. 

I was on my laptop waiting for few reasons and one of them is that it’s easy to see everything than on iPhone or iPad most especially if we are chasing something. 

I was constantly waiting for updates on Twitter but then in less than 2 hours, tickets are sold out. Some people who patiently waited in line never got a single ticket. 

It was unbelievable. Paramore is not as huge as Bruno Mars but they got sold out in less than 2 hours in Manila. IN MANILA . 

Never in my lifetime that a single show will be sold out like that. I'm not saying that they don’t deserve it but seriously, MANILA not US or UK. M A N I L A. 

I was still hopeful since the demand is too much and the ticket price is on a very reasonable one 8,000PHP for VIP. Why not. 

Nikki (my friend) was also checking it on her computer and once in a while in the span of 2 hours, the section at the website keeps on changing like she was able to view that there are still lower box tickets while I can’t see any available ones. SM Tickets, wtf. 

At some point we got theories that maybe they stopped selling tickets since the demand is too much and their system might got some problems but a month later, still no sneaky section that was available. They added few more section as fans are already requesting for a second night in Manila instead, they added more section and it went on sale at some date I can’t remember and believe it or not it was also sold out in 20 minutes.

New year came and it was already mid-January when reality hits that I still don't have tickets to the show, I started to panic. I searched online and people are selling theirs because of conflict schedules and so on and it is so frustrating because some people are willing to block that date just to be on the show but wasn’t able to get tickets and these people who aren't so sure got theirs. wtf. Searching further, people are already selling it twice to trice the price. WTF. I mean it’s okay and acceptable if there’s additional to the original price but selling it for triple the price, NO F WAY.

Ever since we experience bad distribution of tickets during UAAP and most especially during 2015 Game 3 Finals, I never trusted SM Tickets. You should have lots of patience dealing with them plus wake up your inner warrior because you need them. When I found out that the Paramore show will be in MOA Arena, I know I should put some more effort to be able to get a ticket. 

During the 2013 show, I remember purchasing the ticket a month before the show and still available but now sold out in minutes. 

I don’t underestimate Paramore since I’m very aware that in the US and UK it happens. It was just so frustrating that people got spare time to waste theirs to purchase tickets then sell it online for thrice the price while the one who really wanted to watch wasn't able to get one. 

I already gave up on having a ticket for the show so I hope it was really sold out and to the people who will be attending, enjoy. To people who are selling it thrice the original price, good luck and to the people who are willing to buy the tripled price, wtf I hope you will be able to sing MizBiz . 

SM Tickets, geez it has been your problem for so long please f fix it.

I really plan to post something about this if I were able to get tickets but I wasn't so I just decided to post this after the dates in Asia. 

Still hopeful to be able to get a VIP ticket that is not over priced.
