Billie Eilish Live in Manila 2022

I originally plan to leave at lunch time but since I finished some work so I can leave on Saturday, I left at 1pm. I don’t plan on lining up since I got seats but as I also regret getting that seat. I panicked okay. Haha

I became a fan of Billie Eilish after watching her documentary on Apple TV. It get me through 2021 to be honest. I knew who she is but I never really invested on knowing her more before. It was March 2021 when I watched the documentary and wow, I became a fan instantly. Started to listen to her music, watched her videos on Youtube then she released Happier Than Ever and I loved her more.

I’m still anxious to attend a concert but I got LANY tickets which will be in November, that’s still far but I know how crazy it can be so I really grab the opportunity.

Billie’s tour was announced very last minute, it was in June and in like 4 days or less, they will start pre-selling. I know at some point that I might be having a hard time to get a ticket since hello, SM Tickets!!! Haha Surprisingly, I got LANY easy so I was hopeful that I will also get a Billie ticket easily. I was hesitant to get a VIP ticket since I know that it is impossible that I will line up early. For me (by the time I was booking the ticket), I’m already satisfied by just being inside the arena watching Billie even it will be on the Lower Box.

Even I was already anxious about that, as the 2018 Paramore show reminds me and since Singapore and other countries are already opening up I checked show tickets on Kuala Lumpur as well as plane ticket. Plane tickets are expensive these days and add the travel restriction to another country as a stress. I got a ticket in Manila so, flying to another country to watch Billie is out of my mind.

Prior to August 13, I didn’t get out just to be sure that I will be okay on that day.

I’m anxious really and this will be my first concert in the pandemic and after maybe Paramore in Indonesia (2018). I was also thinking on how will I get home since it will be Saturday and as much as I also love commuting, I also hate it.

August 13 came and I just want to get to MOA as fast as I can since I don’t want to travel raining. I made it to MOA by 3pm and roam around first to lessen the anxiety.

I redeemed my ticket at the SM Store and not on the Arena so I can enter instantly and not to think about exchanging it anymore.

I’ve been to MOA Arena during the UAAP early this year and I liked the chicken at Oh My Chicken! and I really planned to eat dinner there. After eating dinner, I still stayed outside the Arena to charge my phone so I will not ran out of battery for taking too much photos and videos. I also asking myself if I should buy a merch or not (I didn’t bought one).

I was staying near my entrance door while charging and I entered before 8pm.

Before it really doesn’t follow the time on the ticket usually it starts late but the show started by 8:15 pm.

When Finneas and Andrew started playing, I almost got tears. This is my first concert for so long and I can’t believe this is happening. Then BILLIE appeared!!!!

I almost forgot how to be at a concert but at the same time, I know it is in my blood.

I’ve been singing along when I play her song at my room and now I’m singing inside MOA Arena with Billie and other fans. Huhu. It was so surreal.

I know that it will be over before I know it so I really tried to enjoy the show even my right hand is holding my phone for video. Haha

I somehow watch a week before one full show of this tour on Youtube so I will be aware on the flow. I was really looking forward to hear some specific like Male Fantasy and of course Happier Than Ever. Mid July she released, TV and The 30th and I love those. She already performed TV in the UK but not The 30th.

As much as I put them on repeat for days after the released until a week before the concert.

I love The 30th much more since I can relate to it more and I know how hard it is to sing live because of the outro. I was surprised that they played The 30th for the first time in Manila but I was also waiting for Male Fantasy after but it got ejected from the setlist.

I don’t have much words about it.

I somehow regret not being on the VIP or I should have chosen a closer seat with a nice view but yeah.

I hope she really came back sooner than later. Huhu

One of the best show ever.

If you are a fan and you have doubts if you should attend or not, just fucking GO!!!!!

I wasn’t able to meet a friend in the venue since I thought she will be on the VIP but apparently we are on the opposite side of the stage. Haha

I replied to her posts on IG and we started talking on how good that show was.

The next day she messaged me “tara SG”.

OMG that is so tempting. We talked the whole afternoon trying to figure out a plan if we will be really going to SG.

Checked flights and tickets availability. Tried to figure out how it will work. Compute on how much will be the expense. We are so hyped the whole afternoon and we have to decide soon since plane tickets gets higher as the date of the flight comes close.

I was already planning everything in my head from the stuff that I should bring and all that.

Early night time and I decided to not push the idea.

Billie Eilish is worth it but the other expenses are just too much.

There are some guilt trip on my part that’s why I didn’t pushed through and maybe it is not supposed to happen for now.

Ahhh if only I have such cash to waste I will definitely go and maybe tour SG for a few days again.

And I’m still anxious for an international travel these day and be alone on such trip is giving me much more anxiety. I wish it will be as easy as before soon.

There are dates that I wish I can still watch it like in KL, SG and even Bangkok since I’m free those days I just don’t have that extra cash to burn. Haha

Ahhhh next time. Please come back soon, Billie.

I wish it was also announced early so we can plan everything out and hopefully it will be easy to travel by then.

Oh my throat was shocked with the concert experience, she isn’t used to it again so hello sore throat. Haha

I also rewatched the documentary and somehow makes me want to pushed that SG trip but priorities… huhu I wish there will be also a documentary for this HTE era.

~

In exchange to that SG idea, I booked a ticket to see The Maine and I will be seeing friends by then. I was planning to buy a ticket last minute but then they tweeted that there are just 75 tickets left so, I booked it already even we will not be on the same section. YAY!

I’m still thinking if I should go to see Avril in November.

Concerts are back, we should save up for the surprises. Ha ha

Seeing the venue from KL and SG. Ahh good thing we didn’t pushed through but I like the Bangkok venue, I think it was way better than KL and SG.
