Sick of It

I made this playlist months ago and I think it will be a while that I need this because I think a little inside me is fucking pissed with the outside world. 

This playlist consist of: Jimmy Eat World, mewithoutYou, Candy Hearts, Best Coast and fun.

Well, it really makes me calm but not totally but it can cure some damages.

Thank you music for existing, thank you for speaking in behalf of my fucking feelings, thank you to bands who plays amazing music, thank you to song writers on putting the exact words in a song, thank you to my iTunes, thank you to the "me" who made this playlist months ago, and lastly, thank you for mid nights when everyone is asleep and I'm having a peaceful mind.

UAAP S76 . 1st Round : FEU vs ADMU

Hello UAAP!!!! I miss you so much! Say hello to my 1st game live of Season 76 :). Well, we're supposed to watch the opening but unfortunately, that week was one of the busy week of my work life and the FEU-ADMU game was on a perfect schedule to be a day off after a busy week and before 2 more days of my work life. Anton Roxas said on the first game of FEU vs UE was "its not how you started, its how you finish" yes, its just the 1st round but since I watched completely FEU-ADMU game ever since Season 74 it feels so good to get the W this time. Yes, Kiefer Ravena wasn't able to play but a win is a win and hello to Ryan Buenafe that I think he was supposed to play his last year last season .... Ni nu ni nu.... Good for Ateneo that Buenafe and the other players was having their "bad game". What if Buenafe is not having trouble playing? And where is Kris Porter?

Anyways, it really feels good to win against Ateneo. Watching FEU-ADMU game since S74 and after yearsssss it was last Wednesday when we won. It doesn't matter if its just the 1st round but winning against Ateneo, it feels so good. What to expect they won 5 championship straight and knowing their standings for the last 5 season they're always at the top.

And in my opinion, FEU-ADMU game is like a mini ADMU-DLSU game because fans do wait for it mostly because they always appear on the Final 4 then they'll face each other on the Finals.

Dear La Salle, there's a chance! Hahaha

I watched the game with my basketball dude aka Marielle and good thing I didn't forgot Keith aka the birthday boy that day. Thank you Keith for the brunch :). And it was good to see some good friends and its annoying that we saw some histrionic people. HA HA HA.

That's it! I'm happy that I was able to spend almost the whole day with friends and of course the feeling that we won. It was a little escape but let's face reality and plan the next game date and I feel fortunate that FEU's game are fitting just right with our schedules. See you guys again soon :)

Omg. I never thought I'll see the day. As of the moment I'm typing this, I wish that another package from MAP Shop will arrive tomorrow (because another package arrived earlier.... Hehe) but its Saturday and I'm not sure if there are deliveries on a Saturday. Yes. I ordered a bunch of NYX again (sorry, oh not really. Haha) and I can't wait to try it. I ordered an eye brow pencil, 2 eye liner, 3 matte lipstick and 1 round lipstick, I didn't ordered soft matte and I have no plans on ordering them again soon.

Yes I know, I just ordered a month ago and here I am waiting for it to arrive and if they don't have delivery on Saturday then it will probably arrive on Monday.

As my friends know me "before", I'm the one who don't like to speak about make ups. Okay fine, call me a late bloomer or whatever but seriously that's a fact. 

And by the way, my expensive season is here! Hello UAAP! But as of the moment I have 3 tentative dates to watch and I just chose the game that you don't want to miss the live action. Maybe I'll blog about it but unlike the way I blog about UAAP last season (I'm a little grown now, you know). And I can't wait to hangout with Gem and to see some friends again! But darn, F21 is sale until the 14th! Hopefully, I can control myself not to shop. Hahaha

And with UAAP on schedule, I'm thinking if I can order some eye shadow palette and 2 more tubes of lipstick but hopefully by mid-July I can get those because I'll be banned on buying make up thingy by August because THIS IS INSANE. Haha.

Last Hope

Sort of stuff are running on my mind lately. Sometimes its about loosing the self-esteem that I built for years in just a snap. People will compare anything to everything whenever they want and it does include you to other people. Its hard to convince myself that I should be proud of whatever I have right now or whatever my position in this earth, I do cry a little but then I think of situation that can make me feel good including reading my little reminder on my arm and reciting my favorite quotes from series, book or a lyrics from a song, it really helps me.  

Its a little hard to hide sometimes when what you really wanted is to escape.

I'm f*cking tired sometimes on reminding myself these things because when people compare you to others, you also can't help it to compare yourself to those people. "Don't compare" is actually one rule in my life that is very important because I don't want to be compared to other people because I know my own capacity in life and other people will never tell you that. Even they are family or friends to you sometimes their expectation or trust is too much to handle and since they are expecting more, you will try your very best for you not to fail and when you're trying to be "perfect" along the way there will be this one day that you will eventually break into pieces. And that, is the situation that I don't want to happen to me, to be broken physically and emotionally.

That's why I do what I want in life and I'm happy that I can do this and people around may accept me or not while I'm experimenting on myself but who cares, I still think of pros and cons most of the time and believe me when I say I do think best or worst case scenario ever before doing a major change.

Being controlled or not having the freedom you needed / wanted is exhausting. Parents can control us but they should also know our own opinion about things if we really want what they wanted you to be or not. Guidance is the right term because "being controlled" is way too different from it. 

I have my own reasons why I did the things that I did before or why I made those decisions but now, I don't regret it. I'm living with it.

I don't know what do you think while reading this. Clearly, I don't have a crystal clear direction about this post but this is one therapy that I have in life, blog it or write it whatever it is on my head or when something is bugging me so at some point I'll be okay and I'll move on, because not everyone will be so willing to hear this and its your choice if you'll read this. (well, thank you if you are)

Sometimes reading some "rant" post that I have in the past, makes me smile and  I even laugh about it because I can't believe I typed those things but I also learned from it and looking back makes you realized that you passed those situation and that you can be a stronger person than who was you that moment when you posted that specific "rant post".

Yeah, sometimes I'm so fucking tired of reminding myself good stuff but I'll never be tired of believing on myself.

I just want to share something .... Well, I'm on my shoes-banned since I just got a docs earlier this year but I really want this .....

I want one of these dude but I wish it will be available in here I really like the black one ... its not because Hayley have the black and white its because I think it is a good alternative for a creepers .... I have these "inspired TUK creepers" from People Are People .. 

its not that comfy compare to the original creepers but I like wearing it once in a while ... I'm becoming a fan of platforms.

I really wish I can get the Vans Sk8-Hi Platforms ...

on the other news ... MIAMI HEAT won and defeated San Antonio Spurs and I'm happy about it because I'm a fan of Miami and I love Dwayne Wade since high school . HAHAHA

I ordered it May 28 and it arrived May 29! and yes, it was like Christmas morning that day :))

Matte is kind of 'in' lately and I'm dying to have the best matte on earth. Lol well, I've read different articles and I'm still on the stage of not spending a lot on make ups (I think I'll leave that stage soon) lol. I found this seller on Instagram who sells NYX Cosmetics and wuhooo! I have 4 tubes of matte lipstick and I'm planning to buy more soon. :D

I also asked my sister, cousin and my mom if they want to because I think it will be a waste of money if you'll just order one piece then there will be this freaking unreasonable shipping fee (but of course my Sounds Like Noise is a different story) hehe. So yeah, I ordered 4 tubes my sister ordered 2 as well as my cousin, 1 for my mom and another 1 for my aunt total of 10 fucking tubes of  lipstick! Haha. You might think I own everything but naah, I just thought of the amount of shipping fee and 100php is worth it for 10 tubes.

And since I don't own everything, I'll just post what's mine. I got 3 soft matte and 1 matte.

I'm not good on reviewing make ups but you have to deal with how I do it on my own way. haha

Sweet Pink - Its more lighter than the Shocking Pink and I think I did a very good job on choosing this but I think I still want the Shocking Pink ... haha

Monte Carlo - I love this! I've used this already and dang I'm freaking in love with the result! (next time I'll post picture while I'm wearing it ... I was in a hurry to hangout with Nikka the day I wore this so no picture)

Buenos Aires - I ordered this because I think it will be a very good alternative for my MAC. Its lighter than Sounds Like Noise and it looks like a nude one and I guess every girl should have a nude lipstick unfortunately I don't do heavy eye make up (because nude lipstick go well with heavy eye make up and in my case if I'm wearing too much dark clothes then its time for some 'almost' nude lipstick).

I'm really into pink, red and a little bit of orange lipstick.

I'm not professional on doing make up reviews and there's a lot out there you just have to search on who fits your taste on doing make ups.

But I highly recommend NYX they have huge make up collections and they have the best matte lipstick (for me at least) and its cheap too (just beware of FAKEs because it have a different result). Maybe I should try glossy next time but for a moment I really love the effect of matte. And I'm planning to buy maybe next month and I should plan on what to get. Haha! See, I'm such a girl who thinks picking a lipstick color is such a huge problem. :D

And btw, NYX is a cruelty free. (I just gave attention to that issue because of Carina). :)

A Little Update

I love wearing those arm candies lately unfortunately the green one was taken by my aunt and she gave me a ring in return. 

Life has been busy always, still there are those lazy days and productive ones. I've been re-watching NCIS from its first season and I'm almost on Season 3. 'Reckless' by You Me At Six is playing while I'm typing this part right now (wait I'm going to sing along first its my favorite part) and I have new artists and songs on my iPod. As I was moving on from listening to 'Paramore' the album, The Maine released 'Forever Halloween' and that's what I'm listening to lately and I have more time to listen to some new artists and songs and read some new ebooks. Finally I gave in and I decided to listen to Tegan and Sara and I'm loving them so much probably my favorite song from them will be The Con. I remembered that I first listened and saw them play via live stream when I was waiting for the set of Paramore in SXSW last March 14 and speaking of SXSW I also saw Twenty One Pilots that day I think it was before the set of Tegan and Sara and now I'm also listening to their album Vessel and my favorite from that album will be Car Radio. I do also listen to Demi Lovato's new album 'Demi' and I don't have a favorite because I can't pick one! Lol. Cassadee Pope also released a new single after winning The Voice S3 and somehow, I can relate to it big time listen to her new song Wasting All These Tears. Somehow, I still want some new tunes from Hey Monday I miss those days. Miley Cyrus also released a new song We Can't Stop as well as Avril Lavigne with Here's To Never Growing Up and so far I love listening to new music and I'm happy about it. I'm just going to share to you my current favorite Paramore show. Enjoy!

When I was not listening to music or watching an episode of series or movies or concert videos I'm reading a book. And since I opened up about it from my last post I think its time to be open to talk some rant about it. I was having a book hiatus since the end of April then Stealing Harper was released in the middle of May and I was freaking happy to read it because of Brandon and hell yeah the point of view of Chase! Though it still ended that way I still love it and I'm happy to know what he was doing when he was missing on Taking Chances (Taking Chances by Molly McAdams). After reading Stealing Harper I continued on Taking Chances and after that I waited for Entwined With You by Sylvia Day (from the Crossfire series) and I was disappointed because it didn't end there and the whole book runs just a few weeks -_- I read some comments from readers and they are pissed about it too and I read that there will be 4th and 5th book to it and who knows when it will be release probably after half a year then the 5th one will be after a year. And from a cliff hanger ending of Entwined With You, Forever Too Far by Abbi Glines was released and it was the perfect ending for that series I can't wait for the next book of Twisted Perfection.

What will be the next thing to post. I have FYI, I'm a girl post soon maybe next week and my Hair Dye-ary will still continue, I'm just waiting for my hair to be longer so I can cut the ends and make some new changes I actually sick of my hair color right now while some says the faded blue and violet are nice and I highly doubt it, most of the time. Maybe I'll post our family swimming too but not too soon.  

I bought this last Monday because it was the last Ash Blonde and I like the orange one but I'm just keeping this for now. I'm serious when I say I have plans for my hair. Hehe. And I still have a jar of Electric Banana and I'm planning to buy an Electric Lizard soon. Hehe and secretly, I really want to try to shave a part of my hair. Haha

One little package for me is on its way here (I hope) and its been a month and I'm worried. I don't care if I need to pick it up at the post office or it will be directly sent here, it will be a first time for me to get an international package and I was excited but now, I'm worried, I'll blog about it once I got it on my hands but for now, I'll be thinking about it just like before :(

UAAP's first round schedule is released! And as always Marielle and I are planning to watch and hopefully, her schedule will be on our side so we can watch a Wednesday game (fingers crossed) and I'm a little pissed because most of the games will be at MOA Arena. Here we go with my expensive season but I'll make sure that I'll just watched the most awaited opponent to fight with. Hehe. I still need to fix another computer at the office so it will be my live stream tv if I will not watch live most especially on the opening. And by that, I'm going to save some money and I'll be on my way to get the third tattoo that I really need since whenever.

BonChon opened at SM Taytay and I've been there for 2 Mondays already with Daphne. Hehe. Some people are just discovering it while I first tasted their chicken a year ago. And since I'll be around MOA again, probably I'll be at BonChon MOA for couple of game dates again. Hehe.

Students are back in school and I'm missing the first-day-of-school hype. But its different now so I'll just sit in here watch everyone do their thing while I do mine. ;)

Don't Judge the Inner Me

as for the picture, I really want to attached a screen cap of what are the books on my iBooks but my iPod will not give justice to it so I just screen cap the top paid books now on iTunes .... I've read some from the books above and some of them are still sitting there having a slash of "new".

I know people don't know that I read love stories book (well, it's time for you to know) except for some cousin that I have and maybe if you are following me on twitter because sometimes I tweet about it but mostly I'm pre-occupied on what I'm reading at the moment. I started reading love stories when 50 Shades of Grey was popular last year (October 2012) and after that I started to search for love stories. I don't like the setting of 50 Shades of Grey because it's not that realistic (but I'll admit Christian Grey is wow) and I want some breather after reading that twice and then the rest is history.

I will not mention specific books that I love instead this will more be focused on what I've learned while reading it.

People might say different things if they found out that you are reading such genre of books but sometimes, you just have to find an amazing author who wrote great stories. I have couple of favorites and I love them because their awesome and their brains are amazing on creating those kind of stories. One point in life I tried to type this "love story" that was so dearly to me but I ended up just thinking of it. writing a love story is not for me I will just leave it to those amazing writers out there. 

I know we should not think on what other people think about us but seriously I don't know if they care what I read or what genre I'm into. Stereotyping it is. I don't read local pocket books because its so common in here. I really choose what I will read by reading some reviews about it and the feedback of some who have read it already and I will tell you that there are rated scenes but most of the time I do found myself relating the story and the characters to reality and I will start crying because I do miss certain people that used to be around and I tell you there are lessons in these stories it might be different from your own situation but still there is and you just have to think and you'll realized it. and you have to choose an amazing author or should I say a great story teller? :p

I read some fucked up books that's why you need to find a good writer out there its not just about the rated scene it's also about the second or third characters (the family and friends). 

should I say it again? yes I'm a hopeless romantic. So what?

I can say reading is still better because there were no cut scene because surely when you put it on film not everything will be shown. best example will be The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I don't think I need to elaborate but if you read it first before watching it then you know what I mean. And I don't know about The Great Gatsby but I promised myself that I'll read it first before watching the movie. who knows when ... haha

The disadvantage of reading is, you get attached to the characters and you wish that they are real people you can talk to, cry with, or hug if they are in a fucked up situation. I love each characters on the books that I've read in every different situation and reasons and I would love to thank each author that make them happen.

I think I need to recommend my favorite author/writers who made me cry, laugh and go crazy on handsome dudes. HAHA
