Book . Fix

I finished my last book in April and now I badly need to start reading again since I need to reach my 10 books goal on Goodreads.

One more reason why it took me awhile because I was contemplating with what book to read next because I might get bored on any non-fiction that I will end up not picking up my kindle  and I’m not sure if I’m ready to read some romance.

For an easy read and to be able to finish I go with romance and once again tried to read Molly McAdams again. Before when I came back to reading I noticed that I always go to Colleen Hoover but now I tried Molly McAdams again.

I’m currently 50% into the book and I’m enjoying it.

How I wish I can be somehow like Rae who can travel by land whenever and just live from city or state then jump into another one when it time to move on. It’s not the reality we live in but I’ve seen some people who are living on a trailer who do that for sure it isn’t easy but life will always have pros and cons.

~

I finally finished the book and I enjoyed it really. Brought me again to the other world to escape the reality and I really love how books make you escape life for a moment.

When I started reading again years ago I chose to do Young Adult or Romance and I never get tired of it even reading all the series if it comes from one but now as of the moment, I decided not to read a series. I never read anything like Harry Potter that comes from series but I think I’ll be bored. I might say it early but I change my mind once in a while and depend on my mood but for now that will do. Maybe read the next book months or a year later who knows.

I don’t usually do review thoroughly so that’s for it already. Lol

I just got lost sometimes on the shifting of scene and sometimes on conversation without proper way to shift but if it’s just me then maybe I’m the problem. Haha

The twist is just okay but I hate it like most of the revelation are already at the latter part which it should be but putting a bunch of information in one page to reveal something is just too much.

Also why does all of the confession are mostly during s*x? Can people not have just a normal conversation like in real life? Lol I know this is fantasy but seriously thankful for Nathan as a break from all the love scene.

The book/story reminds me of this song - People That I Love Leave (Cassadee Pope)

Gave this 3 stars on Goodreads just because but seriously I enjoyed the escape.

Book . Stealing Chances

"OMG" - my only reaction when Molly McAdams posted this surprise release on her Instagram

Huhu my Taking Chances heart.

Taking Chances is special to me because it literally brought me back to reality after reading the 50 Shades of Trilogy 10 years ago.

I instantly became a fan of Molly after that and we even exchange tweets back then.

I constantly read her book sometimes right after launch.

Somewhere along the past years, I stopped reading anything.

Since I got a kindle recently I really tried to go back reading anything and with this release, I knew I can't pass.

Upon the first chapter though, there's a new name I'm clearly not familiar with. I'm not sure if I just missed something or what but right then I knew I have to read Taking Chances again.

I stopped reading this book then started with Taking Chances again.

Ahhh my Brandon heart.

I didn't fully reread Taking Chances I skipped some pages just to finish it quickly so I can read this book ASAP.

It felt like a mini reunion with friends after a while. It didn't felt like 10 years to be honest.

The only thing that I can say is that, Chase deserve this story.

Molly, thank you for this.

Book . Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams

Uhmmm. I love watching crime series (NCIS, Criminal Minds, Bones, etc) and since I read the summary of this book I know that it will be an exciting one.

For the record, I didn't read any teaser that Molly posted on her blog because I'm dying to read the whole thing! Good thing the looooong wait is OVER. I've read it already and OMG, I LOVE IT! Without any joke or bluff this is one of my favorite book/story. Its direct to the point, realistic, unpredictable, it will make you nervous, it will make you smile, it will make you cry and most especially, you will never stop flipping the page just to know what happens next. Good thing the ending was bearable unlike some books that you wanted to throw your devices or the book itself because you're so pissed about the ending and you have to wait for months just to fill up the unbearable ending.

I understand that 50 Shades of Grey is good to be on movies but seriously, Molly McAdams book deserve to be on movies too! (But I still believe that imagining/making the story in you head while reading is better than movies) and I imagined that Kash and Mason are Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill (21 Jump Street style. Hahaha!)

I tweeted this to Molly McAdams when I was on the early chapter of the book. I don't know if I'll hate her somewhere in the middle or at the ending because who knows what will be out there. And I never saw that twist at the end coming! But as I said, its bearable than what happened to Chase. haha

still fan girling when she does reply to me ever since I tweeted her last year regarding Taking Chances. Hehe.

If I'll rate this book I'll give 5 stars. So go pick up a copy and start reading Molly's book!

Molly McAdams,
I love you and thank you for giving us stories that are so awesome. And as I said on my tweet, You're the bomb!!! Please make more stories that are amazingly beautiful. Congratulations on a successful year! Cheers to more books/stories that will make us fall in love. :)

Ps. I'm still waiting for my Brandon or Kash in my life. Hahaha.

xoxo,
Aivrin from the Philippines.

Taking Chances

Taking Chances by Molly McAdams

I've done reading 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy and you can read my post about it here .

I have nothing to do last night and I luckily its Friday night and no work for today (Saturday) and I'm bored and decided to read some new e-book on my iPod and I tried Casual Vacancy and another one but it making me more sleepy, good thing I've decided to read Taking Chances by Molly McAdams.

Its hard to find another book to read if you still have some hangover on 50 Shades Trilogy and most especially if you just thought of Christian Grey. I mean for me I need some more time to have distance on the previous book that I've read and good thing I end up reading this.

I read this book last night around 1am and I stopped by 11am, I fell asleep for 2 hours and spent the next 2 hours finishing the book. This literally broke the record of 50 Shades where I slept 7am but of course its a different story :)

NO SPOILER .

I don't know if its just me but I still thought of Christian Grey on this but the difference is this book is more realistic than 50 Shades Trilogy though some scenes makes me think of 50 Shades. It may look like a ordinary pocketbook story but if you got the meaning and the connection of the characters relationship with one another, trust me, you will love this book.

This book will give you a lot of emotions, I seriously cried, laugh and fall in love with Brandon Taylor (read it, you want to know someone that's more realistic than Christian Grey). I really loved this book, it also makes me missed some friends that I had way back and I still wish I can still see and talk to them (that makes me cry) and seeing a guy that have been hurt makes me heart broken </3. Seriously, this book affects me and I'm such a hopeless romantic.

The ending was great, I liked how it still narrated what happened to all the characters (I really wished Freed was like this detailed, most especially the ending).

--- I do recommend this book most especially if you are pissed on the ending of Freed . lol
