Why is everyone fascinated about new year while I'm not. Feels like a normal day / week.

I was talking about not having down time or reflection time but seems like I'm avoiding it because it's just too much. 

I don't want to break down at this point of the year. It's too early.

I listen to Rebel Hearts podcast and on episode 49 Sam reviewed Troy Sivan's Bloom and after that episode I tried to put it on the background and I can't stop listening to it.

I’ve been praised, admired, and bashed with my hair and seeing this TVC on national television, I’m so thankful. 

Been dyeing my hair since late 2012 and never been on my full natural hair ever since. Tried different colors and for people who are not used to see my extreme hair change, they questioned my decision. 

Being a music fan particularly Paramore, all around the world, its okay, its normal but for people who were living under a rock most of their lives, its a crazy, it’s crap. 

I shifted every reason on why I dye my hair ever since that now its just a normal thing to me. 

People say a lot of things about changing my look (the tattoos are different story but yeah.

2018 tattoos

My last tattoo was in 2016 and ever since 2014, I told myself that I should have a tattoo every year no matter how big or small it is, I should have. Fast forward to 2018, I have to postponed everything since there's a concert craze and a lot of personal unexpected events. But I told myself that I should do it before 2018 ends. December 21 was perfect. 

My original artist was out of the country and I decided to ask my brother for his artist since I also know that he's good and also a good friend of Pao and Igin too. 

I didn't know he do freehand tattoo meaning, no stencil. It was a scary idea but I see his work too so nothing to worry but also my designs are not the usual and I have a quote to get, my question how he will do it. 

At first I just described how big it will be and where to. 

1 - Smiley tattoo. I got the idea from Cassadee Pope. I wanted for so long a smiley tattoo or a thank you tattoo just for everyone I will get to bumped on a daily basis that even I don't say anything, I hope the tattoo make them know that I smile (lol) or at least remind them to smile. A "thank you" tattoo is a little too much but I think I'm done with text tattoo. 

2018 was a very busy and it was a Paramore year for me. The real story behind the smiley is Fake Happy. On Cassadee the smiley is facing you but on me it was inverted, it's smiling to remind me to smile and it's okay despite of everything. 

2 - Expression is Survival. Hayley said it in one of the purest interview that she did and I agree to her.

I thought of it very well in a way that it also apply to people with temper but this tattoo is not for those people. It is to do creative things and be productive on other things not doing some negative ones. 

I was into a lot the previous years and writing in here was surviving for me so when Hayley said that, I really relate to that. I don't mean to get it as a tattoo but the later part of 2018 was really challenging and really a lot of unexpected ones. Despite of those, I don't have much enough time to reflect and it feels like time was running out on me. The routine wasn't that holding me but everything is just too much all at once. This is another reminder tattoo to never forget to express on the creative side. 

Later on, they put the quote under Good Dye Young and it fits there perfectly. I knew that Hayley spend too much time on GDY if she's not doing music stuff and she was very open about it. It was her other side of creativity. 

3 - After Laughter logo. This is no brainer for fans but it's the logo from the album After Laughter. A fan found this that might be the reason behind the logo it's "Musical Illusion and Paradoxes". 

4 - Twenty One Pilots logo. Another no brainer tattoo for fans but the new logo of Twenty One Pilots. Since the release of Blurryface, I badly wanted to have a tattoo that will represent the band. Well, later in life it was a need than a want since their music and them individually is one reason why I can go on with life despite of what it throws. I originally wanted the Skeleton keys but Trench was recently released and I like it too (of course) but they also released the new logo so I just have to get it than the old logo. 

Who really listen to the band are the only one who will understand. Most especially from the music, every word is so important. I'm not sure if listening to it you will get the idea instantly but yeah give it a try if you're curious about me getting it. 

5 - Cupcake. My baby cupcake. For easy reason why a cupcake, I just tell people that it's a birthday cake. I recently celebrated my birthday so, that's it. Haha but really it's a reminder that every birthday it will be a new start. 

For the long reason, it's a personal sketch that I requested to M. It took some time for him to send it to me 2 months in the making or more but he send that April 2017 not sure when he really did it but I told him about it Feb 2017. The reason why is it like that? Well you can ask him but seriously it's too personal for us so you can just stick with the birthday cake reason. Hehe 

Will give you a little hint that I posted few days after seeing the actual sketch.

I want to post a sketch but I'm keeping it until who knows. Captured this yesterday when I realized it just looked like a specific part of the sketch even the clouds and the sky are the total opposite of dark and deep. Knowing the reason of every detail of that art, it was too overwhelming most especially if it was explained to you first hand.

Later on I realized that the 2 logo are placed in a wrong area. Hahaha that was a regret but road to half/full sleeve here we go. I definitely forgot my thighs!!! Maybe that's one reason why freehand was a little bit scary. Haha. Can't wait to put something to incorporate with the logo. 

FYI, my mom freaked out about it but very proud the day after. Haha. 

Will definitely not let 2019 go without a couple of tattoos.
