Livestream . YOU ME AT SIX: The Final Night of Six

 

Somehow this will eventually happen to all the bands we all love, retirement or disbanding whatever they want to call it. 

For You Me At Six, it’s been 20 years and they just had their last show last April 4th at Wembley Arena. 

I got an email one night about a discount code if you buy a ticket for the livestream and I wasn’t aware that there will be a livestream. I convert on how much it was and I didn’t hesitate anymore, it was almost PHP 900 which you can watch a documentary before the show and the actual live show from London. 

I’m not sure how I got to listen to this band and when but I’m sure I saw them on Tumblr in 2008 or 2009. That’s when I started to listen to them. 

The farewell tour is so bittersweet since Australia is on the tour dates but not anything in South East Asia. Knowing that the show they had in here in Manila last 2023 was not successful, I knew that no chance of them visiting for the farewll tour. I’m just so thankful that in 2023 I got to meet these guys, had a conversation with JOSH even it was so short but it was something I will never imagine back in the early years of listening to them. Just so thankful that even the venue wasn’t full the band perform as if it was a sold out show. 

Watching the live show via stream reminded me why I loved this band so much because I’m so sure that they helped me in so many ways. 

I don't have any expectation with the last show, never searched for setlist or read anything I just see some updates here and there of the on going tour. 

As someone who didn’t expect anything, I didn’t know that freaking FIREWORKS will be played and JOSH will teared up. Huhu I didn’t expect that I will be crying at almost 6AM because of TAKE ON THE WORLD. 

After that I just want RECKLESS to be played and I’m good ,they did and then UNDERDOG for the last song. 

It was fun and also an emotional one, I wish I was there to experience that too.  

Upon purchasing ticket I didn’t know about what time it will be Manila but damn it was 2AM - 6AM good thing it was Saturday. 

I hope they will release it officially the whole thing for the world to see with better sound quality and maybe some after show happenings.

UAAP S87 . Women’s Volleyball (1st round)

I’ve been planning to watch volleyball for years and I just did this season. 

It’s my very first time to watch volleyball live since I’m more into basketball but this time I really wanted to and seems like both men’s and women’s are doing good this season. 

I’m thinking why it took me this long and I forgot now what are my reason for years. 

I really plan to watch the first game since it’s in MOA but I chose to go the next week since I want to go to Pet Expo and I’m also waiting for some Araneta games which we have but I can’t decide early since I’m not sure if I can. Friday night when I decided to go and planned to leave early to catch the men’s but I left home late just in time for lunch before the women’s game. 

Sometimes I can’t focus on the game since I’m still new to such environment and it’s a whole new audience compare to basketball. I’m also somehow watching games that I can and even on weekends it’s volleyball Sunday at home and seems like everyone’s enjoying the game. 

Honestly, I can even fall asleep watching volleyball. Haha

Sometime it’s taking 3 hours for 5 sets! No fix time for every set but as reading stat sheets, it mostly take a set for 30 minutes really depends on the flow of the match. 

It’s a new environment for me but I love it. Hopefully I can still watch one or two more games this season. 

Watching sports live is one of my escape. 

And just like basketball it’s a bonus if we win, I’m just fan of the sport.

I believe that a person can be not fully evil but what’s done is done and that’s something you can’t change anymore. They are all fed up that they are untouchable well not as to what they believe. Unfortunately they chose to be on the public eye so most of what they say and do are being recorded. So much greed. 

Not a fan of practicing what will happen if there will be a natural disaster. Depends on the situation practically, you save yourself / family and if possible to help others.

Book . It Starts with Us

Colleen Hoover books are my go to if I want to have some quick progress on my reading goals this year and I decided to read this since I watched the movie It Ends with Us. A good way review for what the series was about and this as the continuation. Though to be honest the actress that played Lily Bloom is not the Lily Bloom in my head most especially after all the issue about the movie. Sadly I can’t remember the Lily Bloom in my head when I read the book years ago so I end up having the actors who portrayed the characters to be the same this time as I read this book. 

I cried watching the movie and I know that this book will also affect my emotions. Of course, it did and made some realization about my last relationship and I was able to write some letters too. I relate so much when it comes to the letter, calls and such that’s why I’m so emotional but overall as the author sited, we don’t need much drama on this. Such a light story and knowing Atlas POV is so good definitely the right move to make a follow up and to end it that way.   

Started reading this last February 17 and ended March 9, 2025. I can do it shorter but due to some Saturday trip to the city I wasn’t able to read some days. 

I enjoyed this book but I think I’ll go mystery next so that I will not cry. Lol 

Gave this a 4 star on Goodreads.
